You are a lizard. A cold-blooded creature, being weak and sleepy when it is cold is in your genes. And skills cannot overwrite genes. In addition your racial skill insomnious was removed do to evolution.
An hour or so later, the door at the far end of the room opened.
The one who entered was the same F-size one-chan.
“Hello there (General Kenobi) little specimen.”- She said with an arrogant smile.-“Can you understand me?”
“Cold…”
“Well of course it is. Your cage is specifically made to be cold.”

“Why did you put me here?”
“That’s not important.”- She replied with the same arrogant smile.-“I came to make a proposition to you!”
“A proposition?”
“Yes! Listen well!”-Arrogance level is rising.-“This genius witch allows you to become her familiar!”
“What?”
“Of course you won’t agree to become one out of good will.”- Good will?-“You will be moved to warm stables, you will have much more food than you could imagine and you will become stronger!”
Stronger? Evo-chan what is she talking about?
Monsters and animals become stronger while their contractor supplies them with mana. However, once supplying ends their strength returns back to original. In addition, your level and evolution stage will stagnate forever, even when the contractor decides to release familiar from the bond. You will also have to abide every command that she issues, even if it’s suicide.

This is a slow burn story as the MC is stumbling around discovering her new place and role. Author's Note (Apr 2021): I dropped the Fantasy Genre for the Mystery Genre, because while the setting mentions magic, is it about past glories and trying to return to them.
