《I Get A System, But I'm Still On Earth.》Chapter 23

"Crap.."
Right now Fuk silently watched the pile of the wooden fragments. But at the very least his act of destroying the table that he already used since he started college was worth it... maybe.
Congratulations! You have learned the passive skill Axe Weapon Mastery Lvl 1!
Alongside with the notification, his face slowly turned into the displeased look when someone was banging the wall, shouting and telling him to quiet down. Not like he could fight back since this was 5.30 o'clock in the morning.
"I should've moved into a bigger apartment." Fuk said, watching his messy room as he spent another Renown to increase his skill capacity. Right now after spending two points of Renown he should've had another 9 empty skill.
Sighing, whatever happened had happened. Using summon: skeleton Lvl 1 he summoned a thin walking skeleton, even though at first the skeleton had a hard time to clean the fragments after five minutes had passed it became quite good to do Fuk's bidding.
"...With this and Clean, maybe I can open a laundromat." Said Fuk, as he realized the utilities and the business potential from those two skills. "No... if I can somehow disguise the skeletons maybe I can open my own restaurant." He nodded, lost in his own thought as he kept muttering about the business potential.
"Speaking of a restaurant... Cultivate."
A 10 x 10 Grid screen appeared in front of his face, following the same procedure as Cook he put a few Jack-o seeds and onionspring sprouts and dragged a bucket of water into those grids. Those were the simple way of using Cultivate, the other way was he entered the personal dimension and manually planting the seeds.
Couldn't wait to see the result from those vegetables, Fuk only grinned when he calculated the money he could save if those seeds could produce a tasty ingredient. At least the Radishu bodies was edible, with their legs being the tastier and their arms being the most tasteless part.

"Tony, I'm going to work, after everything is done feed Walnut, play with her and then go idle." Said Fuk.
Then Fuk walked away, the skeleton, nicknamed Tony stood straight with a broom on his hand and gave a salute to Fuk as he watched his boss went.

Almost exactly at noon, as Fuk was resting on his office, a phone call from his father arrived.
"Nǐ yǒu máfan ma?!"
"...Dad, how many times I should tell you I can't speak Mandarin."
"Then learn!! Even your sister already speak it fluently! Hmph! whatever, where are you right now?!"
"In my office. Does something happen?"
"You sure?! Hmph! It's just two men suddenly go into the store and interrogating me and your mother about your whereabouts."
"...Are they wearing a suit, a black glass and a friendly smile?"
"How do you know?! So you do get into some kind of trouble!"
"...Dad, no matter how you look at it they are a scammer. Geez, listen to me, first they are going to ask about my condition, pretending that I am their friend then they will tell either I am having an accident or getting into a jail or something like that. Do I get that right?"
Though, instead of an answer, all that Fuk heard was the shouting of his dad, yelling at the stranger and driving them away. Not a single minutes had passed and the call was cut off.
Curious about the fate of those two people, Fuk repeatedly called his home but didn't get an answer. Perhaps right now his father was beating them with his wooden sticks, followed by him lecturing those two people and letting them go. or that was what Fuk imagined as he closed his eyes, resting from the stack of the spreadsheets that lay down at the top of his table.

At least for today, Fuk didn't want to bring his work back or did an overnight shift. In the end, without meeting or socializing with anyone he spent the rest of his day working on the spreadsheet. Rewarding him with:
Congratulations! Calculation is now level 3.
Congratulations! Sleep Resistance is now level 5.
Congratulations! Mental Resistance is now level 4.

Three hours later after everyone went home, Fuk with dropped shoulder walked to the nearest coffee shop. Getting his daily dose of coffee and while he was waiting for the owner to brew his coffee accidentally he heard a group of high schoolers, talking about the infamous Mr.Tux like they didn't have a single worry about the world.
"...Haaah... It's good to be young, right owner?" Fuk said to the pencil moustache owner.
As he brewing the coffee, he only smiled to him. "But you're still young. By the way, v60 or Kalita?"
"Eh... Kalita is fine, just make it thick." Fuk replied.
After the coffee was done he handed the money and went back into his apartment with a cup of hot coffee on his hand. As he was walking while drinking the coffee, there was something that didn't feel right, the weird feeling inside of his stomach shouting at him. Telling him to get away from his position.
Trusting on his instinct, Fuk jumped away for a few meters and right at the place he stood a second ago something flew. It was fast enough until the only thing that Fuk could see was only its silhouette.
What followed this was a crashing sound like a car had just rammed into something. There was no explosion nor heat, the ground just shattered and throwing the shrapnel of rocks right at Fuk's face.
Fuk reflexly used Barrier, defending himself from those shrapnels and as a result raising his Barrier into Lvl 4. Though, as a result, his Barrier completely destroyed just because of those shrapnels.
Suddenly remembered about the penalty he looked around, and weirdly enough even though the time still 10 P.M, no one was walking on this area but slowly the windows were opening and people began to stick their head out. Watching two silhouettes leaping away from the street.
But as they naively looked at the ground, another hole was created, this time on the house wall, followed by the car was destroyed and another hole on the ground.
And then when they started to snap and took their phone, began to call the cops, two figure, one was wearing a mask, brown robe and brown hat with a white bone staff on his hand.
The other one was a manly figure, cloaked by a shadowy cloak that floated around his body, his face was covered with the same black shadowy scarf and his fingers clasped a few throwing knives.
"Analyze." Said Fuk, doing the Analyze lvl 4 to the ???

The Last Orellen (An Epic Progression Fantasy)
According to prophecy, the ninth-born child of Lord Orellen will have the sort of power that changes the world. But in a land ruled by mage families, no one welcomes the possibility of a dangerous new player. Fearful even of their allies, the Orellens come up with an extraordinary and deadly scheme to protect themselves. If the most powerful sorcerers in the world wish to kill the ninth-born, they will have to find him or her first. And that's not going to be easy when the Orellens have called upon dark magic to create hundreds of heirs. The boys and girls are given new bodies, new names, and even new magical talents before they are scattered across the continent. Only one among them is the real ninth, but all of them will have to grow up in a world where they are fugitives. Kalen, once fated to die, is now an Orellen heir in hiding. And he is determined to survive, even if he has to master his strange new powers to do it. The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
