《I Get A System, But I'm Still On Earth.》Chapter 3

When Fuk awoke, it was to his phone alarm. As he opened his eyes, he stretched his body and opened the menu. Wondered how he could access the dungeon, though in his mind he thought How does this work to people that live in a different time zone?
In front of him, the black letters floated but unlike this morning, the map menu had been opened. As Fuk touched Map, the letter restructured itself into another option. Dungeon and Map. As Fuk Touching the Dungeon option, once again the letters scattered themselves and formed another option.
You have opened the Dungeon! Which dungeon do you want to explore?
List of beginner dungeon.
Oz Plain: 2449 Candidates, Majority creature: Beast.
Thalan Jungle: 4528 Candidates, Majority creature: Plant.
Raster Desert: 520 Candidates, Majority creature: Insect.
Roc Mountain: 1754 Candidates, Majority creature: Goblin.
Mushkin Mansion: 87 Candidates, Majority creature: Construct.
Skeletalview Graveyard: 269 Candidates, Majority creature: Undead.
Dead Coast: 0 Candidates, Majority creature: Aquan.
"Hm?" Fuk tilted his head as he saw the list, he knew there were several other people besides him participating in this, but he never thought there were these many people. This fact alone made him a little bit disappointed.
After thinking for a few minutes, Fuk experiences in gaming was leading his direction. First, he didn't want to go to the highly populated area, there were too many problems like kill steal and et cetera. Second, whatever a dead coast was, it was definitely a bad news. Third, he didn't want to go to a hot place. Following this mindset, Fuk grabbed a baseball bat and chose Skeletalview Graveyard.
Then the world warped, walls shifting and changing, by the time Fuk realized, he already stood in front of a graveyard. Rows of tombstones stood erect in silence to the left and right, in front and behind, like a sea of the dead. Some were crumbled with the weathering of centuries, some were smooth marble with new black writing and laid with floral tributes.
And on his side, a hunched shady figure walked to him. "O~ the great candidate~ Hear my call~ There is an undead disturbing the peace on this graveyard and heed my warning, water is forbidden in this place."

Tilted his head in confusion. "Ehm... what?" Replied Fuk to the hunched shady figure. And he kept repeating his line. "Erm... I accept?"
As the hunched shady figure nodded and gave Fuk a key, the gate slowly opened. By the time Fuk realized it, the shady hunched figure was already gone. "O~kay... that's weird."
Carefully entering the graveyard, Fuk looked in both directions. The fence near him was extended for quite a long way on either side. Thick foliage obscured the far gravestone, readying himself. Not really seeing anyone around, Fuk started walking in a straight direction, trying to see what he could find.
***
About sometime later, Fuk dashed back to the entrance, gained Running up to Lvl 3. On his back, there were several Romero type zombies, dragging their leg while chasing after him. It wasn't like Fuk couldn't fight against a slow zombie, he watched every zombie movies, even the b-rated one but... even though he knew their weakness was their head, by the time Fuk hit them with his baseball bat, it only made a sound like he was hitting a stone boulder.
Were they actually strong? or Was Fuk too weak?
At the entrance, while catching his breath, Fuk opened his menu and found the Inventory menu had been opened. Inside it, there were three options. Inventory, Equipment and Collect. Fuk checked Inventory and Equip but it didn't give any information.
"...Don't tell me." Fuk muttered as he looking to his baseball bat. "Collect." Following the same procedure as using Skill. The baseball bat distorted and disappeared, once again Fuk checked the Inventory and found his baseball bat already inside, along with its description.
Cap: (1/12)
Wooden Baseball Bat (Common): Str +1 Dex -1. Damage type: Bludgeon. Condition: 60/100. Weight: 1.
"Equip." Fuk said, testing his hypothesis.
His baseball bat appeared right on his right hand, and when he checked the Equipment, he found a gray human body sketch, with a baseball bat on its right arm.
"I see..."
Pleased with his discovery, Fuk remembered that he had 7 unspent CP, opening the class menu, he put four of it into Fighter and the other three into Striker.

You have learned Fighter class active skills Horizontal Slash Lvl 1, Double Stab Lvl 1, Merciless Blow Lvl 1, and Endure Lvl 1!
.....
After awkwardly waiting, it seemed there was all Fuk got from completing the Fighter class, but why? Moreover, once Fuk opened the skill menu and checked his Fighter skills.
Slot (3/4)
Fighter
Horizontal Slash: Concentrate a force to deal a strong attack with Slash type weapon. Damage based on 5 x Skill Level + Str + Dex. Cost: 17 Stamina.

Endure: Grants immunity to being affected by knockback, knockdown and stagger for up to Skill level x 7 hit. Cost: 32 Stamina.
Sighing, although these skills are far stronger than the Novice skills. Fuk could only use them once, and in his case, he could only use Merciless Blow or Endure.
But, shaking his head wildly They are only a Romero zombie right?. Fuk thought as he grabbed his baseball bat, his hand opened the gate and once again he entered the graveyard.
After moving some distance away, a little bit farther, and he would reach the area of the Zombies, when he moved past the grave and into the trees, he was disappointed to find nothing, but there were several other skeletons within sight that seemed weaker than the zombies.
But unlike the zombies, the skeletons were equipped with a weapon, although most of them were only rusty swords or sickles.
Moving very carefully while peering around, Fuk found one skeleton that was separated from the rest of his group. Now his eyes had been dragged there. Letting his instinct guided him and learned Sneak Lvl 1. Fuk managed to sneak behind the back of Skeleton A.
As Fuk raised his arm, his eyes flickered when he swung the baseball bat. Hitting right at the skeleton head, making it flew a couple dozen meters away.
Surprised, Fuk's jaw dropped down as he watched his home run. "...Maybe... I should apply in baseball league."
Congratulations! You have learned a passive skill Nimble Brawn Lvl 1.
"...What kind of skill is that."
But still, amazed by his own capabilities, Fuk forgot that his enemy was a skeleton. As he non chalantly turning his back and leaving Skeleton A.
The headless skeleton was moving at him, but even though Skeleton A could locate Fuk location, he couldn't locate a rock near his foot, stumbled by that single rock, the rest of Skeleton A body scattered when he fell to the ground.
Surprised, Fuk turned his gaze and only tilted his head in confusion. "...? what happened?"
20 minutes later, after Fuk crushed 3 more skeletons, he just realized that the skeleton was still moving even after their head were destroyed.
Three hours later, Fuk decided to end his rampage. The number of skeletons that he killed was 54, though three of them were falling by themselves and the other two were crashing at each other.
Ended his first experience in a dungeon, Fuk managed to gain.

All in all, he had earned 28 CP, which might have been more than enough for a first timer. At the end of the day, too sleepy to think how he should allocate his CP, Fuk went back to the entrance and teleported back to his apartment, sleeping soundly through the rest of the night.

The Dungeon Calls for a Sage
Archimedes was the ego behind one of the most powerful dungeons ever created. He grew and developed his halls, filling them with powerful monsters and beasts, over the course of thousands of years. He was a grand structure of ten thousand floors which even heroes had failed to defeat. However, an Evil God had come from another world, calling himself the Demon King, and a party of heroes were sent to do battle with it. Through their victory, they obtained enough strength to breeze through Archimedes' dungeon like it was nothing. Forseeing the end of his life, and realizing how pointless his pursuit of power had been, Archimedes destroyed himself, taking the heroes down with him. Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name. Just what was the meaning of this?! Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him. _______________________ DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.
8 202Starlight Antiquities
There is a place in the galaxy that deals in antiquities of all kinds, human and non-human alike. Its inventory of artifacts is colossal as is its inventory of mercs who they hire to acquire any artifact a client may wish that is yet to come into their possession. The ill-reputable business is constantly rubbing against the changing tolerance of the Union's government, and there are many security officers who would love nothing better than to vaporize the whole place with its owners inside. Yet, there are many tasks that nobody can do better, especially in the vastness of deep space where Union law is worth less than the energy needed to display it. One of its jobs involves finding an artifact that may not only hold the future of the human race but may also disturb the balance of the whole galaxy. *** While waiting for the next season of Mandalorian and the Witcher, and rewatching Firefly for the gazillionth of time, I decided to write this space-based series. The series has some litRPG elements in it, but it does not read like one. So, you won't run into any blue screens here. Yet, I wanted to use litRPG to give another dimension to this whole story and make it as unique as possible. This is a work-in-progress. Hope to keep on improving and fixing my mistakes as I go along.
