My sword phased through the creatures arm as it re emerged again when I took it out of its body. The phantom like strike cut through him like butter and blood ruptured as his massive right arm collapsed to the ground a large grueling arm can be seen in a pool of blood. But I didn’t stop there.

Jumping high up in his shoulder I cleaved right through him and numerous wounds began to appear as the phantom blade phased through his flesh and when it re emerges a wound appears.

The damage out put was high and effective but It wasn’t enough to kill him. So landing on the creatures back I began to assault the nape of his neck like a certain anime that I watched years ago where they faced giant monsters that ate them like snacks.

“Aaaaargggh!!!”

A vicious assault of phasing blades began to assault his neck as more damage pop up appeared.

It let out a scream as it flailed trying to grab me with its remaining arm. No way in hell am I letting you get me! Jumping high up in the sky I started to twirl midair grabbing momentum as He gave off a large slash which grazed me.

Get the fuck out of my view you fucking pop ups [like those goddamn ads when you’re surfing the net]. Using my last ounce of strength I began spinning and hit the back of his neck until I cut through it cleanly with blood spurting [reference attack on titan]. Until I hit the ground flat.

I fell on my face along with the creatures giant head on my side. And a second later the burrowers massive body fell on its front as well with its head dismembered from it. Looks like I’m going to die this time huh?

Black Blood trickled down from the severed head and began to form a pool of it. It slowly started to flow towards my face until it reached my cheek. Yuck! It looks like crude oil or tar. But without the energy t o move I couldn’t resist it.

The blood flow continued on until it reached my open mouth. It entered my lips and then my tongue got a taste of it and then a window appeared.

What the fuck? So that black tar looking thing was actually a potent elixir? My body started to wriggle as I slowly tried to move and it actually worked! I slowly got up and took a look at my health. Shit! 230 remaining health huh? I then eyed the black blood and quickly used identify.

Holy! That black blood wasn’t actually just for naming sense huh? But seeing as my health was still pretty low and that black blood was still flowing from the body, I ignored my disgust as I didn’t have the luxury right now to be picky. I went to the carcass and started to sip fro the blood.

Holy! That is some potent shit. It even added things to my stats. I thank the gods, no rather that one god that let me lived through this. Though sometimes his way too much of a sadist. I began to eye the carcass that was all that’s left of the beast.

It would be too difficult to drag the entire body back so instead I cleanly cut off a chuck of its body taking it with me. I then inspected the landscape. The once narrow alley now expanded to that of a freeway plus it was littered with holes now due to the constant digging of the monster.

Retracing back my course I went through a couple of dead end until I finally found them. They were now clustered together and being driven back by the creatures and although they were putting up a fight a casualty has already been invoked and now most of them has numerous injuries.

Taking a look at my health, it was almost fully regenerated now so I quickly darted off like a rocket and went on to save the elves. Taking both of my blades I started to slash away at the creatures.

RIIIP!!!

This were the sounds that came from the torn apart body of the creatures that were being dismembered by myself. The creatures that saw me taking away at them one by one like the grim reaper quickly reverted their assault at me seeing as I was the one that faced more danger than the current group.

I gave a small shrug as they started to claw at me with several few making contact.

Hwaaaarrrrggghhhhh!

I screamed at the top of my lungs as I quickly used backlash blow with my mana now recovered thanks to that black blood. Multiple slashed rained down on multiple enemies as they were torn open or cut to half with my strikes.

The battle raged on for an hour until the creatures finally retreated with them losing a lot in their numbers.

I fell on my butt as I finally had time to rest. The elves were already lying on the floor gasping for air as they struggled from exhaustion. Taking a look at my health bar it was already at the halfway point. Taking the chunk of meat that came from the black blood burrower, and quickly using fire magic to roast it I took a quick huge bite as I ravaged it wholeheartedly caring little for the elves who were already half asleep due to exhaustion.

I slowly fell asleep after wholeheartedly eating the piece of meat. Darkness consumed me and my consciousness slowly drifted away.

I met her on that fateful day, She was a divine being during my 3rd year on high school. She was smart, beautiful, and kind. She attracted all kinds of looks from the students at school. And from some sort of twist from fate we were classmates or rather seatmates to be exact

Her lustrous silver hair stood out among the class along with her emerald green eyes and pale white skin. She was indeed very beautiful.

She was probably a foreigner I once thought at the first sight of her when she entered the room. Heck even most of the boys jaw dropped when they saw her. But when she started to speak to introduce herself her voice captivated everyone. It was very soft yet it gave off a sense of healing your soul.

When she was finished the teacher instructed her to sit at the back part right next to me. When the teacher said that I got a few glances hinting of jealousy, nevertheless I just shrugged it off and when she came to her seat I just continued on with my work.

However after a couple of weeks we started to chat with each other and coincidentally we became on friendly terms with each other. A few casual chats became an everyday talk and eventually we became best friends.

Yeah having a girl-----friend[ mind you] was actually soothing. I told her all of my worries and problems from time to time but, there was only one thing that I kept to myself… It was the fact that I liked her.

One day when I came to school she still wasn’t present. It was weird, she was usually one of the early birds to arrive seeing as she was from a rich family and had a personal driver escorting her to and from school. I just thought of it that she was late but during that day she never came. It was strange for her to be absent as she disliked missing school.

I tried calling her phone but she wasn’t answering. I dialed a few more times yet I couldn’t get any answer so I went to her house to visit. When I rang the bell a personal maid came out and told me this words.

“The madam is on the hospital, the car that she was on got into an accident”

I immediately rushed to the hospital asking the counter on what room she was on… She was on ICU. I wasn’t allowed in so I went to her parents to ask how she was. They just ignored me and gave gloomy look saying.

“Just go home for now, It’s best that you do not know.”

I did just that with despair in my heart however the next day I received a call from her parents saying,

“She’s gone” I felt like heaven and earth collapsed under me. Tears started to flow out of my eyes and my head repeating the words that were said. I started to regret and wished, I wish you got ill during the day your car crashed, I wished you didn’t come to this country so that you could avoid the accident, but most of all I wished I got to say the words that I held onto my heart for so long, I love you.

I woke up from sleep. That was weird, why did I dream of that event that I put to the deepest part of my mind and swore to never dig it back up again. Oh well I just ignored the dream and continued on . Standing up I looked at the peacefully sleeping elves that were dead beat from the wave.

“Wake up!” I shouted at them.

They immediately scrambled to get up with a weary look in their eyes. I gave a faint smile at them as I announced.

“We’re moving on to the last gate, I’ve already destroyed the second guardian So now grab your things and pack up because we’re going, but first we’ll have to make a detour” as I led them to the dead carcass of the black blood burrower.

Surely that black blood would prove to be indispensable later on.

T^hank you for the support guys and waiting for me this past month, unfortunately me playing in the competition got cancelled due to "GRADUATION", and damn it a month of training was wasted .
