《Kinda Real Online》49. Cut Off

With the final judgement delivered, I was returned to the exact same place I was before. Which happened to be in the air where Marcus' platform was. I immedieately openned my wings and glided down to the ground as I saw Marcus appear a little lower than me, and fall. I thought about diving down and catching him, but by the time I even thought that, he hit the ground.
"Ow." He jumped up when he saw me, "Bwyd! I met the administrator. He, she, whatever it was apologized for my death, and told me that as long as I stayed in this dimension for a year I could keep my magic. It also said that I..."
Warning!
All system personnel will now be removed from this instance
All non-system personnel will be sequestered for the duration of dimensional reconstruction
We had a moment to make eye contact, then everything went black.
When I woke up I didn't see that much had changed. It was daytime, but other than that, we were still in the same place we were before. The ground was still messed up from the fight, and Marcus was in the same place he was before.
"Marcus? Are you awake yet?"
He didn't respond, so I just dropped on the ground completely relaxed. I was exhausted, and the events of the last few hours (or minutes, or days) had been extra stressful. But somehow we had done it. We were alive, and the metal monster thing was gone. Or at least trapped somewhere. I didn't want to think about that though, so I just lay there not really thinking about anything. It was nice. I knew that I was going to have to do something eventually, but in that moment, I was completely relaxed.
So imagine my surprise when my peace was disturbed by:

Congratulations!
You have successfully separated yourself from the system!
As the first creature to do this, you will recieve your own system!
Your system is only for your use, and has been connected to your dimension
You may use it to manage your dimension, and you may see your stats, but you will not be able to interact with your personnal status
I took a moment to read that notification, a couple times, then I tried to see my status.

Added Dragon/Humanoid Form
I thought dragon form and I felt myself change. It was wierd because it wasn't wierd. It felt completely normal to be the size of a horse, covered in scales, and to stand on four legs. At first I was going to say it was because of the game, but it wasn't. I wasn't in the game anymore. This was my reality. I didn't spend to much time worrying about it. I had to try flying. So I opened my wings and flew.
It was great. There realy isn't anything like flying. Well, maybe rollercoasters are close, but I was in control of where I went. It was a little shaky at first, but after a bit my dragon instincts kicked in, and I was doing great. The first thing I did was fly up as high as I could. Well almost as high as I could. When I got high enough that my castle looked like it was the size of a quarter, I decided that was high enough. I flew around in circles for a bit, just trying to figure out what I was doing.

I instinctually knew how to fly, but I still had a lot to learn. It's one thing to know I can flap my wings and use some magic to propel myself through the air, and another to understand how wind currents work, and how to do flips, and barrel rolls, without getting dizzy. So after messing around in the air, I started taking in the view. I could see my castle below me, surrounded by a massive forest of massive trees, but around the forrest it looked like there was some kind of fog. As I focused on the fog, I realized there was a bit of a magical shimmering barrier that made a dome with my castle at the center. The top was only a little way from where I was flying, so I just flew up to it.
It was basically see through until I got close to it, when it started to look like water. I hovered in front of it for a couple seconds before I gently touched it with one of my claws. The claw went through, and I barely felt any pressure, just a little mana drain, so I flew through it. The other side was not much different, but I felt a difference in air pressure. I would have said my ears popped, but dragon ears are a little bit different, so it was more of a feeling.
I was much closer to the ground, but it looked like I was still in a forest with large trees. The biggest difference was the trees were smaller than my trees. They were still at least two hundred feet tall, but they were the size of the small trees in my forest. Behind me I could see a similar shimmery barrier dome, but it was much smaller from the outside. It was only three hundred feet, but it was a symetrical dome, just like the big one. I kind of figured this was my dimension, which meant I was outside. Remembering what we had talked about before, I realized this was Earth. I got a bit excited, and I wanted to take a look around. I flew a little higher, and realized something.
Five fighter jets were heading straight for me. I looked back towards the dome, and all around the bottom of it was caution tape, and people in military uniforms. When I looked back at the jets I saw missles fire, and I figured it would be better to go back to my dimension, then try to fight people who thought I was a monster. So I dropped back through the shimmery barrier and out of the sky over my castle. I waited to see if they'd follow me, but nothing came through, so I went back to the castle to talk to Marcus.
As I got closer I could see all the refugees moving, and kind of surrounding on figure. Eventually I recognized the figure as Marcus, so I flew down and landed in front of him. He looked a little shocked, and maybe a bit afraid, and everyone around got real quiet.
"Bwyd? Is that you?"
I cocked my head in confusion, then looked at myself. I was still in dragon form. Of course he wouldn't recognize me. I change to my humanoid form, and smiled.
"Yep, I'm not cursed anymore! Also, do you think fighter jet missles can hurt me?"
"W-what?" He looked even more shocked.
