"Everyone, this is Scria. She's a bit of an all rounder, and I think she'll be a great addition to the team." Bjorn looked a little nervous introducing Scria.
"Yo, B's been talking 'bout you guys a lot. I wanna join." Her voice was a little gravelly, and she was almost yelling, but she sounded sincere.
Lily started laughing, and might have muttered something about hands and handy, but Marcus stayed calm and sat down in one of the chairs.
"Scria, have a seat. I have a few questions for you." Marcus sounded profesional.
"Oh, sure. I'll tell ya whatever."
"First, what is the strongest creature you have defeated?"
"There's this mamoth, big as a barn. Me and the boys were huntin' it." All four of her arms were moving as she told her story. "We got it cornered next to a cliff, but didn't want it to fall, so Wiz used a bind and we charged right in. Nothin' went right. The beast broke the bind and came at me. Severn, our tank, was in the dirt, and arrows didnt' do nothin'. I grabbed the closest thing and swung at its head. One hit, and down it went." She struck a pose with all four of her arms flexing.
"Well, your presentation was slightly lacking. I mean, what did you kill it with? Also, I haven't heard of mamoths around here, so you should probably pick something local, or start by saying you're not from around here. Oh, and when you mention 'the boys' it makes it sound like you are already part of a group, or that you were part of a group and then got kicked out. I give it a five out of ten."
Her eyes widened, "Whoa, I tell that story to everyone, and they laugh or cheer. You're something else."

"Glad I could surprise you Scria. I vote yes."
"Cool."
Lily sighed, "Seriously Marcus? You don't even know what she does." She hopped up on the table, " Scria, what is your class?"
"You heard B. I'm an all rounder." She gestured to all her weapons.
"That isn't a class. Personally I do not want to work with a beserker, and you give off beserker vibes."
"I'm a weapon master?" She cleared her throat. "I master weapons."
"Do not lie to me." Lily's tone became very serious.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes."
"Battle dancer." Her voice was incredibly quiet.
The entire room was quiet. It felt like we were all waiting for something to happen, and it didn't happen. Bjorn was apprehensive, Lily was focused on Scria, Scria looked embarrassed, and Marcus was sitting in his chair with absolutely no expression. And there I was standing by the wall, feeling invisible. It felt like that moment went on for ever, like we were frozen in time. Then I broke it all.
"What's a battle dancer?" They all turned to look at me with different looks of shock. Except Marcus, he knew how much I didn't know about anything.
"Jack of all trades, master of none." Marcus was the first to recover. "They aren't really a usuful class in most normal party comps. Basically they act as an off tank damage dealer, but their defence sucks, and they do less damage than pretty much any other class. To top it all off, they can't use any skills unless they can move, and for the more powerful abilties they need to perform complicated dances. So for a normal party, they are useless."
Scria looked miserable, "Give me a chance. I'm way better than any lame warrior class. I'll prove it."

Lily held up a hand, stopping Scria, "I vote yes."
Bjorn smiled, "So that just leaves one vote, Bwyd."
"Ah, I get a vote?"
Lily laughed, easing the tension a little, "Of course silly. You are a full voting member, and if you decide that you don't like Scria then she won't join us. Though we might all be upset and tease you forever."
"Not to mention she is perfect for our group." Bjorn seemed enthusiastic. "She rounds off our non standard party with damage. Trust me." He gave me a thumbs up.
"Aren't we missing a rogue?" They all started laughing at me, it wasn't with me because I was not laughing.
Lily walked to me and took my hand, "Bwyd, you're our cute little rogue." Seeing my confused expression she continued. "None of us is a traditional whatever we are. Bjorn only uses a shield and sucks at keeping aggro, Marcus is an illusionist so he has low magic damage, I perform lazy healing by summoning other things to heal, and you are a stealthy witch."
"Wait, what kind of party do you have?" Scria looked surprised.
"Scria, I told you we were a different type of party from what you'd expect, which is why I invited you in the first place."
We all kind of stood there in awkward silence as no one knew what to say next, and I was trying to figure out how I could be a rogue if I didn't know how to pick locks. Or if I could even learn how to pick locks. How hard could it really be, all I needed to do was figure out how they worked and probably build some stats up. Or I could learn a spell. Maybe some kind of hex that makes locks fail, or a disembodied hand that can pick locks on its own.
"Bwyd, we're waiting for your vote."
"Oh, sorry. I was trying to figure out the best way to pick locks."
Lily laughed again, "Taking your rogue roll seriously I see, but it doesn't matter. Bjorn is great at openning locked doors. So what is your vote."
"Yes, obviously. I wouldn't vote against you guys even if I didn't like Scria."
Bjorn smilled, "Alright then, Bjorn & Buddies is offically a full party. Group hug."
Shadow Step
"Haha, see just like a rogue."
They laughed, hugged and started talking about strategies, but I had an important mission. Given to me by Lily. I needed to claim my room before Scria did.

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
