Volume 2; Chapter 1
In a flash, a year had passed since the beginning of the story.
In this one year, each race within the continent repeatedly engaged in warfare. Though most of them were small skirmishes, those who were smart could tell that the monarchs and leaders of each country were beginning to be a little unwelcoming of each other.
The greatest example for this was the Human and Demon conflict that seemed to be rising each day. Bloodshed and war occurred whenever these two parties met each other. After this round of probing each other's defenses, the confusion of war would likely descend upon the entire continent.
At this point, self-preservation was not enough of an excuse for the kingdom, especially the Delouria Kingdom to use in order to keep the peace. A man does not have the intention to harm a tiger, but the tiger has the intention to kill the man; even it is for self-preservation, everyone had to enter into this war for hegemony!
The Delouria Kingdom was involved in various wars unceasingly for the past year. Since it was one of the strongest forces within humanity, the kingdom became an ideal target for the Demon to set troops to probe them. Furthermore, they were definitely considered a fat piece of meat! Luckily, the Delouria Kingdom had, aside from undefeatable generals; they also had overpowered individuals, Heroes.
And in this warring state, the existences of Heroes had become the populace pillars of support—starting to become an idol of worship no less than that of Gods…!
As such, though the Delouria Kingdom faced many shocks, it did not leave any irreparable damage. The citizens believed that so long the Heroes were alive, there was no worry about any invasions. Thus, even though the country’s situation was a little tense, the people still put on a show of happiness and prosperity.
Several Kingdoms of humanity was unhappy on the Delouria Kingdom’s summoning of heroes before but now, they started to feel admiration to the insight and decisiveness of the Wise King and started their own research on Summoning Heroes—of course, this was already a failed attempt.
Just like what had the Hero Arturia had said, their summoning just ended up in failure. Summoning Heroes from other Dimension can’t be done continuously…
“Demon Bunzai, your opponent is me!” General Radon raised his great sword, charging forward with big steps.
General Radon knew what kind of monster the Demon Bunzai was. He was the blood blade Bunzai, one of the Demon Palace powerhouses. His name was renowned as 36th ranker in the Demon Legion. On the surface, it seemed like he was weak because he couldn’t manage to enter the top 30 from the 36th position even after ten years passed by. However, this was definitely not because his abilities were lacking, it was because his achievement points weren’t enough yet. He was just an upstart in the Demon Legion, however, this upstart wasn’t someone to be underestimated!

If one took into consideration how he managed to climb up from top 100thrank to 36th rank in 20 years by fighting countless battles, one would be able to imagine how strong he was.
General Radon reckoned that the Blood blade Bunzai would definitely be within the top 20 amongst the Demon Palace’s ranking in terms of abilities, or maybe even the top 15. He was young but also a deserving genius and gifted youngster from the Demon Legion six prestigious houses…
With regards to the Blood Blade Bunzai, General Radon was extremely familiar. He was the one who had confronted his son in the battle four years ago and was the one who had almost took his life. General Radon held some hatred for this demon because of him, his son had lost an arm and was bedridden for almost a year—seeing his son’s suffering at that time, General Radon felt pain he hadn’t experienced in a war in all his life.
Ever since then, General Radon had chased after this demon to exact revenge. In their battles, General Radon emerged victoriously and the Demon Bunzai would end with heavy injuries a lot of times and had almost died, but he managed to escape from dangerous situations every time.
Until the 8th time they confronted, he finally managed to capture him and upheld justice for all.
However, who would have expected, seven of the strong experts from the Demon Palace suddenly appear and saved him with a crafty escape plan. Throughout history, the Demon Bunzai was the only demon who had managed to move seven strong experts from the Demon palace into action to protect him and save him. It could be clearly seen from this how greatly the Demon Palace had thought of him.
He was, after all, a genius of the Demon Legion…!
After recovering from his deadly injuries, Bunzai, who was almost like a disabled person initially, recovered his previous battle power and even improved his strength. Now, he had once again come back into the battlefield, to rake achievements and raise himself into the ranking.
This was already the 14th time they had met in battle and General Radon vowed he would be able to kill this monster right then and now!
"Radon of the great Tauron House!" Bunzai stared at General Radon with a mischievous gaze. "I trust you've been well since we last met!"
Respecting the genuine experts of the world would always be inevitable and reasonable in any setting. Demons aren’t an exception that fact.
In fact, Demons might be respecting the powerhouse more than humans could do.
As long as they are powerful and exude great strength, then even if they were the greatest enemy they had, they would still show the basics of respect.

However, Demon Bunzai could’ve never expected that those words of his’ were about to incite an extreme reaction from the other side… a reaction that would be as explosive as the eruption of a volcano!
General Radon clenched their teeth and spoke, “Demon Bunzai, this time, I will certainly kill you! I will offer your head to the gods for my son’s recovery!!”
“Pffft, Ahahahahahaha, dream on, Radon. Even if you die, I will still live for a long, long time!!” Demon Bunzai laughed heartily as he floated in the sky with a pair of bat wings on his back.
“Let’s see about that! Don’t expect that I will still be caught off guard like last time and managed to let you escape. No matter how many monsters and demons appear and save you, you will still die today!!”
General Radon raised his sword. And then, a fire was lit up and shot into the sky. It then exploded like blooming flowers. General Radon’s expression was somewhat cruel.
At the monsters and demons side, beasts one after another let out a violent roar. In fact, it nearly resembled a thunderclap as it shook the nine heavens. Then, one of the monsters that resembled a giant bipedal elephant leaped forward. He was followed by different groups Monster Beasts — bears, wolves, tigers, snakes and lions-type kind of monsters. The Demon and Monster forces broke out of the forest like a storm.
They weren’t many… just almost a thousand in number.
On the human army side, General Spike, one of the Generals of the Delouria Kingdom, along with General Radon waved his hand for the quick waving of the signal flag. Then, thousands of men quickly assembled into a cone formation. However, they remained motionless thereafter.
The two Deputy Generals had already taken the next step in their army formation. The injured soldiers were moved to the middle, while the other elite soldiers surrounded and protected them.
A thousand of men against a thousand of monsters and demons—such battle numbers seemed to be equal but both the monsters and demons strength was several times their own. One monster or demon can even confront against four to five soldier and still win—just how can they see a victory in this kind of war?
Even still, some sacrifices would be inevitable in this battle. However, their chances of success would increase by a considerable margin if everything went according to plan. And, they could at least give a good battle to their enemies in this manner.
And even if they died in this battle… they’d at least die a valiant death!
Without giving any time, General Radon’s body moved forward in rage; like a violent storm. He used his trademark skill called "Bull of Courageous Blade". A cold squall arose from the handle of his blade.
Everyone felt a sharp magic power arise from it, and strike against their faces. It made everyone’s clothes flutter, and left them to feel a slight tinge of pain on their faces. Therefore, none of them could help but take a step backward.
General Radon was not eager to kill the Demon Bunzai and wouldn’t allow anyone to block him or even stop him!
Bang!! General Radon left a deep trench under his foot as the dust rose all around.
Demon Bunzai laughed heartily as he saw General Radon’s bull-like charge and shouted loudly in mid-air, "Well, come on then!" His large bat-wings flapped as it faced resistance from the wind.
He then loudly charged straight ahead to meet his foe instead of avoiding him.
The arrangements for the decisive battle hadn’t even started in earnest. But, the top leaders of both the sides had already broken into a violent fight.
The situation had become very intense!
General Radon’s heart was brimming with violent rage and indignation. His son had suffered untold humiliation and was now bedridden. As for the Demon Bunzai, he was actually quite angry due to his defeat he had suffered from General Radon’s hands all over again, he was almost at 33rd position when he met General Radon and stopped his winning streak. Therefore, the two had displayed their full strength in only three moves. Moreover, they had actually displayed their killer moves.
More than once at that!
The area of this decisive battle was a small valley between two mountains. The distance between the bases of the two mountains was at least five kilometers. However, the two men contesting for power were moving so fast that it seemed as if they had mounted the clouds.
Their movements were too quick for any eyes to see. It was like a lightning strike… first here, then there… and then far-off… and then back again at the first place…
