Chapter 70: [ Dragon ]
He cried out and immediately jumps back!
“What!?” Rain’s cry startled the others. However before they could react,
Boom!! A second later, an explosion appeared and the three knights standing in the front were blown away.
The earth shook from the explosion and every people could see a limb, no – a red colored claw came out from the DragonStatuee.
Crack! Shreds of stone skin peeled off towards the ground, revealing the scarlet dyed scales beneath.
Roooooaaaaarrrr!!!
With an angry roar, the dragon finally emerged from its stone shell. Wisps of flames could be seen coming out from the body of the huge dragon standing before them, filling the air with a sinister sensation.
Seeing the monster’s appearance, all the people immediately paled in fright!
Dragons! Even five-year-old children know about them.
The strongest race!
Monster possessing great intelligence, high magic power, and Absolute-like defense physical body. Although their numbers are extremely low due to low fertility and even sighting one was incredibly rare but no matter what kingdoms they are, as long as news about a Dragon arriving, all of them would scamper to escape!
Dragons never interfered in matters of other races, however, it’s not like they can’t, they just don’t want to.
They are too prideful to care for the ants – however, once in a while; they would come and play, slaughtering a city and a kingdom.
‘Damn Arturiaaa!! Daring to seal this King inside this gloomy hole!!! I’m going to find you and beat you up, you rotten Bitch!!!!!’
“– Is what he says.” Rain translated while hastily retreating at the back.
Celia embraced her twin sister Celis and instinctively jumped back while Princess Leticia, Doram, and Garas also jumped back simultaneously.
Their eyes widened in shock as they saw the angry Dragon in front of them. It had a short but thick legs supported an upper body that made up about 70 percent of its total height
Its body had a glossy sheen as if it was made of glass, yet no one could deny that the dragon was powerful. With a slight sway of its head, it dashed forward, raising its claws, striking heavily on the nearby crowd.

The human knights and warriors scattered like ants in front of an elephant; panic and screams resounded in the entire battlefield.
‘Arturiaa!! Where are you, you damn bitch!!’ “– is what he says. He seems to be looking for your hero, ey princess~” Rain teased happily.
At this moment, as if hearing what Rain’s words, the Dragon’s head turned at Princess Leticia. It’s serpentine-like crimson eyes looked down…
“Humans, give me Arturia and I will give you a painless death!!” It spoke in a human language while raising its huge terrifying arms, slamming it towards Princess Leticia.
“… …” Princess Leticia froze.
Her body violently trembled before she jumped at the side, rolling on the ground.
Boom!!
The shockwave caused Princess Leticia to blown even further. However, she was still a holy knight and her body flipped, stabilizing herself on the ground. Her head angrily turns towards Rain’s direction, “Damn you Aquariaaaan!! I won’t forget this!!”
Rain was dumbfounded for a moment before he knocked his head and playfully stick out his tongue, “Tee hee, sorry I didn’t know he can understand my words~”
“Damn you!!” Princess Leticia’s screams resounded in the entire area as she crazily avoided the Dragon’s arm, trying to catch her. It seems like the Dragon was adamant about catching her to look for the Hero Arturia.
Without panicking, Rain shrugs his shoulders and slowly unsheathed the short sword hanging around his waist while his other arm pulled out several daggers.
“Well, this is certainly very troublesome…” More like a chance to win seems to be somewhat absent…
Rain sighed.
“I guess, we can’t stay on the side anymore,”
“Indeed. Against a monster like that… even I don’t have a chance of winning…” Zarda and Alba slowly walked over.
Even if she was called a Snow Wolf King, however, against a Dragon is certainly too much.
Just because a Monster was called King, doesn’t mean he was strong personally.
Wolf Kings are classified as Disaster class monsters and was feared not just because of their own strength but also because of their minions.
They are called Kings because they have subordinates but as someone without a pack, even a Wolf King is only a slightly stronger monster. They are the weakest among Monster Kings.

Even normal Monster Kings would run away after seeing a Dragon…
Thus, this can only be called suicide!
“Hmph, it’s just an overgrown lizard!” Lafetti, on the other hand, snorted.
She was a warrior… a warrior admitting defeat before the fight began will certainly be defeated.
“Lafetti said right,” Drova smirked while Stagna knocked the string of the bow; three ice arrows suddenly appeared on it.
Screams of fear and confusion accompanied by echoes of powerful footsteps lay before them.
Grinning, Rain started moving towards the Dragon who was being besieged by the knights and warriors then leaped into the air. His sword arcing towards the Dragon’s neck, chopping down onto its neck.
Ting! However, it only created sparks as the sword’s blade bounced off and slid down on its scaly neck; it appeared not much damage, if any, had been done.
Rain felt a chill run down his back.
Roooaaaarrr!
The Red Dragon angrily glared at him and with just a slight sway of his head, Bang!
It rammed against Rain’s descending body.
Rain immediately tried to block its head with his sword but the force was enough to send him flying back 10 meters away.
Crack!
“Rain!!” anxious screams tore through the area.
Bang! He crashed into a wall, creating a concave, burrowing his body.
Guha-!? Rain felt a strange taste swelling up in his throat. He endured spatting it out and gritted his teeth while struggling to stand up.
The fuck! Although he tried not to but he seems that he has underestimated the Dragon too much. He felt as if he had been rammed by Optimus Prime – Though, if he was still a normal human, he would have been game over by now!
So inconceivable!
He just got hit by a Dragon much bigger than Gundam or Zaku and yet… I survived.
Though it should be greatly attributed to his newly acquired skill: [ Tough Skin ], if not, he would have broken even more bones.
Hah, I guess I’m also not a normal human now…
Blood streak down at the corner of his lips.
“Rain! Are you okay?!” Lafetti rushed towards his position and immediately help him stand up.
“Don’t be so reckless!” She scolded angrily.
“I’m fine… still in one piece,” Rain grins while wiping the blood from his mouth with his hand. He looked at his sword and saw that the short sword’s blade had already cracked. In one attack and it would surely break apart.
Seeing this, Rain sighed.
Lafetti followed his gaze and saw Rain’s sword. After thinking for a moment, she pulled out one of her swords and gave it to rain, “Here use it,”
“Lafetti,”
“Even if I ask you to just sit back, you won’t do it… so, use it for now…” Lafetti sighed as if she was giving up. She was a dual wielder warrior and so she always brings two swords with her.
Rain smiled and accepted it. He leaned closer and placed a quick kiss on her lips. “Thanks,”
“No need,” Lafetti smiled warmly. “I’m going first,” she said before turning back and rushed towards the battlefield.
Rain stared at her back with a faint smile. He hesitated for a bit before he took one his Storage Rings.
He then took out [ Dragon’s Claw ] and wore it. As long as the situation didn’t deteriorate into a hopeless battle, he won’t use [ Fate Destroyer ] and revealed its existence. Princess Leticia would surely take a fancy on it. That would be bad.
Shiing! Three shiny sharp claws extended out from the gauntlet, looking as if he was the wolverine!
Rain closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
The moment he opened them, his lips curled upwards.
“…It’s time to bring out the big guns…”
Rain smirked as he runs towards the berserk Red Dragon.
