Chapter 66: [ Dungeon...? ]
In the end, Rain continued doing it for the sake of defeating the Rock Golems.
However, it’s not like he did everything himself. Thus, he only managed to acquire 6 Perfect Golem Cores while he defeated – though mostly kill steal– 8 Rock Golems.
Under Lafetti and the others dissatisfaction, Rain gave one Perfect Golem Core to Celis in exchange for the Mana potion he had gotten with additional six Mana Potions as well as eight Health Potion.
Its value was actually greater than this but the potions Celis brought with her was extremely limited that she even went to ask for Celia and the Princess some share.
Of course, not all, Celia and Princess Leticia kept three Health and Mana potions their selves.
When Princess Leticia was about to talk to Rain, poor her, she was stopped by Stagna while Drova and Lafetti dragged Rain towards Zarda and Alba’s location.
But Princess Leticia didn’t want to give up but Lafetti and the others strong guard, she could only give up for now… but not in the future… she vowed!

“Roooaarrr!”
With this strange roar, the draconian swung his sword several times at Rain.
Seeing this, Rain calmly stepped left and right, elegantly dodging all the blows.
As long as it was a humanoid monster using weapons, even if it was several times higher compared to Rain in level, Rain would never have a hard time fighting it compared to Rock Golems and other monsters.
Ting! Rain parried the sword with his dagger and thrust the sword into the Draconian’s throat. Splash! Blood spurted but Rain knows that it was still insufficient to kill it and so he rotated and went behind it.
Using the black dagger, Rain slit the Draconian’s throat, killing it completely.
Shiing! Rain’s eyes narrowed and he immediately somersaulted in the air. He took out two wired daggers and throws it towards the other Draconian that attacks him. The Draconian dodged the first dagger while the second coiled around the Draconian’s sword.
Landing on the ground, “Shocker Shock!” Rain activated his electricity towards the steel wire, electrocuting the Draconian causing its posture to fell slightly off-balance.

Rain didn’t miss this chance and went straight into a counter-attack.
Woosh! He shot himself towards it and performed a strong stab.
The Draconian still managed to move and deflected the blow with the shield held by its left hand and bright sparks came flying off. But that was an already expected outcome.
The enemy was left stunned for a moment after guarding against the strong attack, unable to immediately counter. And Rain went for the kill.
He slashed it in every direction and then stretched his arm and “Flamethrower!!” Boom! Flames spurted out from his palm, hitting the Draconian at a point-blank range making it scream for its momma.
Rain still didn’t stop and put all the strength in his body behind the final horizontal left slash.
The sword flew straight at the Draconian’s neck, drawing a shining ark. Blood splattered and with a snapping sound, the Draconian’s head flew up into the air while the body fell to the ground like a puppet that had all its strings cut.
Finishing all of his enemies, Rain looks around him.
Everyone was still busy fighting their respective enemies.
Draconian. They looked extremely like Lizardmen with a body full of shiny scales; bald head like that of a lizard, bat-like wings and can breathe flames from their mouth. On their backs were sharp and scaly protrusions, causing the creatures to look like its back was full of swords.
They used weapons like humans do; Swords, shields, spears, halberd, and many other things.
It seems like it was already the third day of the expedition –though this is only according to Rain’s assumption based on their sleeping and resting breaks.
They had been fighting all these time with different monsters – though what gave them most trouble were the traps laid along the way. Poisonous arrows, pitfalls with stakes at the end, blades that will cut you in one wrong step, a lowering spiked ceiling, a shower of arrows, and many other things.
Seriously, if Dr. Jones was here, he would certainly be happy.
Thankfully, there are no classic traps like a huge ball chasing them or water flooding them suddenly, or else that would certainly be a pain in the *ss.

However, they still lose a considerable amount of people due to these so-called Classic traps. It was actually quite easy to fight monsters rather than trying these hidden surprise traps personally.
Though, because of this, Rain had become once again the center of attention.
Seriously, even Princess Leticia couldn’t help but realized Rain’s importance to the group.
Rain was always the one who would first warn them about Traps and check them. Although sometimes he had failed but without him, it was obvious that they would certainly lose more people along the way.
In this case, Rain prided himself on being a fan of Dr. Indiana Jones. In terms of classic traps, he had learned most of them from him. Besides, with his electric ability, he can disarm mechanical traps along the way.
In the third day, they finally reach a huge pair of grey-golden doors, standing from the ground reaching to the ceiling.
The floors under feet were surprisingly made out of reddish-brown limestone.
On each side of the door were pillars engraved with impressive but eerie pictures, and a shallow waterway ran by their feet, covering the floor.
You could say that the overall atmosphere had gotten heavier.
It seems like they have finally reached the BOSS room of this Dungeon.
“…is, that…”
Hearing Princess Leticia’s words, Rain can’t help but said, “Most likely…? It’s the boss room.”
“Boss room?!” Princess Leticia didn’t share Rain’s humor and thus he could only shrug.
However, the moment they opened the huge door which was unexpected, surprisingly light – Rain had actually expected that they would need to push them all but it actually needed just one arm push and the door open themselves as if swayed by the wind.
Though, the moment the doors opened, a surprising attack came from the inside.
It’s not an attack that would harm physically or mentally but Rain’s eyebrows couldn’t help but furrow.
Because, the moment they entered, their wary ears heard some music from no particular direction.
“A cave with dungeon-like effects and BGM, how elaborate.” Rain felt his lips twitched.
The music seemed to be some kind of welcoming event.
What the heck is this!?
Why is there music in this place…?
Even Princess Leticia and the others couldn’t help but frown in doubt and suspicions. Though this was the first time they had heard this kind of music…
What is this…?
From what Rain could guess after hearing the music, the instrument was probably a violin accompanied by a piano. It was a music he usually heard for enjoyment and entertainment – more like it was extremely similar to Bach, Mozart or Beethoven’s, but…
In this kind of situation, atmosphere, and most of all for Princess Leticia and the others who had never heard such music before – The song was very creepy, making you restless just from hearing it.
– It could even be said that it was a tone that penetrated the core of their consciousness.
Then, right after, a group of over twenty to thirty Draconians ( According to princess Leticia, Sylphy, and the others ) rushed towards them with weapons on hand.
Rain wanted to talk but the Draconian never wanted to listen and chased them away, saying this place is a sacred place or whatsoever…
When Princess Leticia heard what Rain said, her face distorted.
They had already come here with much trouble and yet, they were just going to chase them away? And worst, empty-handed!?
Hmph! Do you think we’re idiots!?
Thus, translating what Princess Leticia said, “If you want peace, prepare for war.” Rain muttered, angering the group of Draconians. Of course, this wasn’t what she said but, it’s similar…
In fact, Rain just didn’t want to say “Go die!” Such tasteless and rude remark, as a gentleman, he can’t say that so clearly, can he…?
Thus, a war happened.
