《Rain Revert》Chapter 65: [ New Skill ]

Chapter 65: [ New Skill ]
Princess Leticia was really astonished. She was never bored watching Rain fight as his every action and movement carried inexplicable beauty. It was an art!
In this world, there was no concept of Karate, Judo, Kung-Fu and other Martial arts. Although some people will appear every now and then doing similar things but most were only showcasing their sword skills or magic skills.
Rain’s ways of fighting was a novel for Princess Leticia– that nimbleness, aerial maneuvers and breathe taking martial arts, although all of them were just imitated from what Rain had seen in movies and cartoons and was perfected by him using countless trials and errors, for the Princess, no, for every people in the World of it was extremely flawless!
And the more Rain’s level goes up, the swifter and fluid his moves become. It was as if they were being perfected.
He prioritizes nimbleness and efficiency rather than pure power and speed. His movements were flexible and can change depending on the situation, unlike the normal way where they put all their power or speed to finish the task.
Thus, Rain's way of fighting was a really a novel for them.
Rain had always been gifted in talent.
As long as he can see it, with just a few minutes of practice, Rain had the ability to implicate movements and actions he had seen in movies or in real life. That had also helped him in his different part-time jobs.
He had managed to quickly grasp what he needed to do just by watching people around him, after a few trial and errors –thus, giving his co-workers a reliable feeling from him.
Besides, Princess Leticia noticed something else.
Only his feet were covered in Lightning sparks… don’t tell me, he’s minimizing the mana consumption by only using it as the most important focal point?
Can that thing be… done?
Princess Leticia seems to have received some sort of enlightenment. This was never been done before. It's not like they were stupid but the control of mana needed to use this kind of action was extremely high. Most people had a hard time controlling mana in such a precise way. And most of all, people prefer to use, flashy looking moves rather than this kind of weak but peculiar moves.
That's why sometimes, people always said explosion is an art. Because people prefer to use flashy things that can cause large-scale explosions and catch people's attention's awe and admiration.
“Your Highness!!” Suddenly, Princess Leticia heard Doram’s cry causing her to immediately exit from her reverie. She turned her head and saw Doram was being besieged by two Rock Golems alone.

“I’m coming!” Princess Leticia gave Rain and Celis one last gaze before rushing towards Doram to help him.
“Celis, do you have something that can help me recover my mana faster?” Rain asked Celis whose face was already turning into a persimmon.
“W, what!?”
“I said, do you have anything that can help me recover my mana faster? You know, like in mana potions in games…”
“Games? What games?”
“Just anything…”
Celis thought for a moment before she struggled to get away from Rain and then grabbed her waist pouch. She then took out a very small, thumb finger sized slim vial containing a blue liquid. “Are you talking about this?”
“This is?”
“A Magic Potion created by Alchemists. It can help you recover your magic power faster than normal.”
Rain immediately grabbed the small vial, “I’ll just drink this right?”
Celis nodded.
“Thanks,” Rain said then leaned down and kissed her cheek, catching Celis off-guard.
“Wh– wha– wha,” Celis was instantly flustered.
However, Rain ignored her and immediately drunk the small vial.
In just a second, Rain felt a cold feeling running through his throat and the taste… isn’t this Lip*vitan?
It tasted like an energy drink…
Rain felt his magic power bubbling inside of him. Although it was not fully recovered, probably at most at half of his original mana capacity but this is enough!
“Thanks,” Rain smiled and immediately rushed towards a nearby Rock golem. Celis can only watch him leave while her face was as red as an apple. Her eyes flashed a complicated feeling.
[ Rapid Dash! ] Rain activated his skill and shot himself towards the nearby monster.
Unfortunately, [ Agility EX ] was still in cool down.
With quick and stealthy movements, Rain encircled around the Golem and stared at its back. Then he leaped out, clinging to its back.
Rain’s sudden actions startled the other group who saw him. What is he doing!?
Rain can even hear some familiar screams but he ignored it. He placed his palm on the monsters back while tightly holding its neck, afraid of being thrown out as it violently struggles.
This was a very difficult to spell to use and he hadn’t even mastered it yet. But this was a good opportunity to practice it.
Cackle! Crackling electric sparks radiated from his hand but it didn’t run towards the Golem, electrocuting it but instead gathered in a single point.
Cold sweats appeared on Rain’s forehead.
Suddenly, something magical happened. It’s as if the Rock Golem’s body turned into mini-blocks, no, it's more like small translucent hexagonal tiles and Rain’s hands slowly submerged as if it was water.

Seeing this, Rain’s eyes lit up. Now! He pushed his hands even deeper.
“Grooaaaarrr!!?” The Rock Golem felt something – though due to it being a Golem, it doesn’t what it was but it knows that something is squirming inside of him.
!? Then something was grabbed.
Before it could react, the Rock Golem fell down like a puppet with its strings cut and Rain on its back, rolled on the ground.
“Rain!?” Lafetti and Stagna immediately rushed towards Rain, helping him to stand up. Their weapons pointed at the fallen Rock Golem but for some reason, it wasn’t moving anymore.
Hm? What’s going on?
Not only the Lafetti, Stagna, Princess and the other humans but even Zarda and Alba who was monitoring Rain’s every action closely so that they could react at moment notice, was bewildered.
What happened?
All their eyes gathered in the fallen Rock Golem that was already not moving.
Shock, interest, curiosity, suspicion, many kinds of feelings mixed together.
With Lafetti and Stagna’s support, Rain slowly stood up.
Every people looking at him suddenly noticed that Rain’s right hand was emitting a smoke and there were even some burned wounds on it.
“Rain, your hand!!” Lafetti exclaimed. She immediately summoned a water ball and slowly submerged Rains hand on it.
In an instant, Rain’s hand started to heal up. Aside from light magic, water magic was one of the elements that are good for healing abilities.
“I’m alright,” Rain smiled wryly. That magic spell is really incomplete – aside from the duration of 3 seconds, the recoil was extremely painful.
“What did you do, Rain?” Stagna asked curiously as she eyed the fallen Rock Golem.
Rain didn’t say anything. He smiled and opened his palm, there, Stagna and Lafetti and those quite close by saw a fist-sized perfect brown colored sphere. Its edges were extremely smooth and soft.
However, the moment Lafetti and the others saw this, their eyes immediately widened in shock and their minds Boom! –short-circuited!
That’s…!!
“The Golem’s Core!?” Stagna exclaimed in shock!
Princess Leticia and the other couldn’t help but stopped moving the moment they saw the soft round sphere.
Their eyes then turned towards the fallen Golem’s body and saw that there were no wounds or holes whatsoever – so how the heck did he get that!?
Golem’s cores are considered a rare product of the Ancient Civilization.
Their importance outweighs the value of Monster Cores. Even a mere broken fragment was extremely useful due to the amount of mana it contained that was already comparable to Lv3 Magical Beasts Cores.
And now, a perfect, unblemished and without a single crack, Golem Core was actually extracted!?
Its value would certainly skyrocket that even Nobles and Royalties would scamper to get it. After all, it has something that monster cores of even broken Golem Cores didn’t have…
Automatic Mana Regeneration!
As long as it’s not destroyed or broken, it would continue to absorb mana around it, replacing the mana that was consumed. With just this, anyone, even the readers would certainly understand the value of this item.
If this Golem Core was used to create a weapon, that weapon would never be depleted with mana and its power would be almost comparable to a Holy Weapon or a legendary weapon!
And if used as a Mana Storage Item, you would never lack Mana again!
However, Perfect Golem Cores had rarely been appeared in the public, after all, extracting it without a scratch was almost nigh impossible… how would you be able to do it? It was the only weakness Monster Golems has!
Without destroying it, the Monster Golem has an infinite life and power.
Even the Princess Leticia’s Kingdom only has two Perfect Golem Cores.
And yet Rain was able to extract a perfect one?!
What kind of logic was this!?
How was he able to do that!!?
If Rain had known this, he would never show this ability nor would he show the perfect core… sadly, he was unlearned in this world. Even Sylphy didn’t know about this valuable information, if not she would have already warned her master not to do it!
This would only bring him unnecessary attention and trouble…
“How did you do that!?” Stagna asked, flustered but before Rain could answer Lafetti moved and smack Stagna’s head.
She glared at her with eyes saying ‘Are you an idiot!?’
“Ah!” Stagna sobered and immediately surveyed the surroundings.
Indeed, all the attention was gathered towards them. She could only stick her tongue out and showed an embarrassed expression. She just lost herself for a moment due to shock.
Lafetti glared at the surrounding people before returning her gaze at Rain and said with a very soft and gentle voice, “Rain, keep it,” She said as she took the Golem’s core and put it on the small bag hanging behind Rain’s waist.
“This is yours… so don’t let anyone take it from you…” Lafetti purposely raised her voice, seemingly warning everyone not to do anything drastic.
Seeing Lafitte’s serious expression, Rain immediately realized that something seems not as simple as he thought. Thus, he nodded.
Then, what should he do?
Should he continue using this magic?
