Chapter 64: [ Godspeed ]
“……this is...”
“It’s a .”
Not too far away from them, the passage walls constantly cracked and shattered.
And after the walls were destroyed from the inside, a thick brown arm that looked they were made up of rocks and clay was revealed from the hole.
The remains of the crushed passage walls scattered constantly down to the floor like an eggshell.
Following the destroyed walls, not only a left arm, even a right arm and lastly, a huge head made up of rocks also appeared in front of them.
“……OOOOOO……” After this hoarse cry, the Golem’s full appearance finally emerged.
Lv4 Rock Golems!
These monsters are commonly seen guarding ancient ruins. Although they don’t use magic attacks but their physical strength and defense were top-notched, classifying them as Lv4 monsters.
“Seeing Golems here, then, the chance of ruins existed here became even higher.” Princess Leticia muttered with an excited expression.
“Then, the legendary sword being here also has a high chance of possibility!!”
The moment the Golem stood in front of the group like a rock wall, *biki* *biki* one after another, Golem started coming from the walls.
1, 2, 3, 4… 11, 12, 13, 14, 15… 15 Lv4 Rock Golems!
Even Princess Leticia instantly paled seeing the number of the monsters.
“Sh*t!!” One man after another started cursing in fright.
“What are you being fearful for? Aren’t you Knights!!?” Doram screamed angrily!
Knights acting like scared cats really angered him!
Garas also snorted in anger before he followed Doram and stood in front of the group.
With the two Holy Knights standing in front of them, the Knights immediately felt their fighting spirit swelled up. “OOoohhh!!” they cried out in unison.
Rain looked at them with indifferent eyes while slowly retreating backward. Lafetti, Stagna, and Drova immediately walked over and encircled him.
“Don’t walk too far in the front, follow us!” Lafetti said to Rain.
Rain nodded. At this moment, he was a bit helpless against Rock Golems with only just his sword and daggers. Although he has regained much of his mana back but it was still not enough to conjure magic spells to fight against it.
Thus, Rain didn’t argue and followed Lafetti and the others. “Thank you,”

“What’s there to thank for?” Stagna smiled gently.
“I’m just saying it,” Rain shrugs.
“Ooohhh!!” and so the fight started.
As usual, Rain danced around Lafetti and the others, striking when the opportunity appeared. Although, his attacks were insignificant compared to the others.
Rock Golems are nearly immortal monsters. If you managed to cut its limbs, they will regenerate it an instant by absorbing the earth.
However, no monsters that don’t have a weakness.
And as for Rock Golems, they possess a fatal weakness!
Right in the right chest, where a human heart should be, was a fist-sized core. Once it was destroyed or break apart, the Golem will instantly die.
As simple as it sounds, however, that part of the Golem’s body was covered by a hardened rock, protecting it. And even Golems with no sentient still protect their weakness in instinct or probably they were reprogrammed to do so.
Thus, giving another difficulty in fighting against it.
Rain’s hands hanging on either side of his waist swiftly rose and then whipped towards the Golem.
Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Several cold lights shot out from his hands flying towards the Golem’s head, shoulders, and chest.
Ting! Ting! The Golem swatted the incoming flying daggers but two of them were successful as they lodged in the Golem’s arms.
Taking advantage of its opening created from defending, Lafetti and Drova arrived beside it and simultaneously swung their swords in a violent manner.
Their attacks created two long fissures on its body.
Swoosh!! Then arrow struck its face. Stagna kept on shooting arrows coated with magic towards the Golem.
Although the monster was powerful, however, its speed was inferior. It moves slowly like robots that hadn’t been oiled properly.
The Golem’s madly swung its arms at Lafetti and Drova.
After throwing his daggers, Rain didn’t stop his actions and instead rushed towards the side, encircling behind the Golem whose attention was focused on the front. He stared at its exposed back.
He can immediately strike it at this moment but he was not confident to strike the core in one fell swoop. If not, the Mad Golem will certainly be cautious to leave its back again or worst, it would certainly chase him to kill him.

However, seeing that rock hard defense… Rain hesitated.
From what Rain knows, Rock Golems are invulnerable in physical fights. Their defense can be said to be absolute as they can endure any kind of attacks, surpassing any Super Masochists in the world.
They can recover back their damage they had suffered in an instant and as long as their cores were not destroyed they are indestructible killing machines!
Aside from the core, they had no weak points!
But, Rain didn’t think like that.
Completely lacking weak points? Rain’s eyes flashed a trace of cold chill – possessing no weak points? Hmph! Then let me create a weak point!
Rain closed his eyes and felt the mana inside of him. Insufficient to use that move… Rain frowned. He then turned his head and surveyed the entire battlefield. His gaze then landed at Princess Leticia who was fighting together with Doram and the Geminin Sisters.
Without hesitation, Rain sped up towards Princess Leticia’s direction.
“Rain!?”
“Lafetti, I’ll leave for a moment. I’ll come back immediately!”
“No, wait! It’s dangerous!!”
“I’m fine!” leaving those words, Rain rushed towards Princess Leticia’s directions.
… …
… …
“Haaaa!!” Princess Leticia swung her sword and repelled the Golem’s arms.
Celis casted a spell and bombarded the Golem’s body while Celia circled its back and started attacking it, though it was repelled by a new pair of arms that had grown from it.
Doram was standing beside the princess and continued to protect her while attacking at the same time. His blade covered by a fiery red aura that every strike caused an explosion, destroying its arms. However, before he could deal the final blow, another two Golems appeared and started attacking them.
The Golem that had its arms severed instantly regenerated another pair of arms.
Right now, there were already three Golems that were fighting against them.
Celis was in a difficult position. She was a pure mage and if she was hit even once by those thick and hard arms, she would certainly be a goner.
Celis frantically dodge while backing away. However, at this moment, the rocks behind her suddenly moved and a thick arm came out. Celis felt the immediate danger and turned around, only to see a pair of arms reaching out to her.
“Damn! Another one!?” Celis exclaimed in horror.
“Celis!!” Celia saw her twin sister in danger and immediately rushed but with the difference in distance as well as the interference by two Golems, it was obvious that she wouldn’t make it in time.
Princess Leticia noticed as well and immediately turned around. “Doram, back me up!!”
“Yes, your highness!”
Princess Leticia exerts force in her legs and her feet immediately lit up and it gradually covered her entire body, causing her entire body to lit up in the beautiful bluish light.
She crouched a bit and was about to rush towards Celis when she suddenly saw a shadow brushing past her.
“Hm?!” her momentum was disturbed but she ignored it and turned her face towards the shadow. It was extremely fast!
She then saw Rain speeding up towards Celis, his feet were releasing some bluish pale light while emitting an ear-screeching noise similar to that of bird’s cry.
“That’s…” It was Lightning! Princess Leticia finally understands the nature of that skill. He coated his feet with lightning to increase his speed.
He had seen that kind of thing done only twice…
Usually, Lightning Elemental Magic warriors coated themselves with Lightning to speed up their reflexes as well as speed. They called it Godspeed!
However, that kind of skill consumed a lot of magical power. Thus, only few lightning magic-warriors were able to do it.
However, Rain’s magic power should have been drained, especially after executing that kind of magic spell a while ago… so how?
She then saw Rain tackled Celis to avoid a Golem’s arm smashing downwards.
And with unbelievable reflexes and speed, while carrying Celis, he twisted his body mid-air and delivered a roundhouse kick to the Golem’s head.
The force chipped a huge chunk of stone from the Golem’s exposed head causing it to wobble away. Rain then jumped back while carrying Celis in his arms.
His movements and actions were extremely well executed… more like, it was beautiful!
That counter… she doesn’t know if she could do that…
