In close-combat, although he wasn’t unparalleled but anyone can see that only time was needed and he would certainly rise above normal warriors.

And in magic abilities, he would certainly become unparalleled in the future. There's no question to that.

His power and strength alone would make any force beg him to join them.

Thus, at this very moment, Princess Leticia was started to have headaches as to how should she would deal Rain’s existence.

With the sound of rocks scraping against each other, the ground in front opened to show a deep underground passage.

It looked like the ground had been split by a sword. A path of stone steps covered with moss exuded a smell of decay.

The passage continued all the way into the depths becoming an unseen bottomless pit, while the two sides of the walls were engraved with ancient inscriptions similar to the hieroglyphics they had seen up until now.

Since Rain had studied the Hieroglyphics in the pedestal, he had acquired some experience in deciphering the Ancient Writings. And now, seeing this, Rain's understanding in the ancient writing further increased. Thus, he can finally roughly understands it.

Rain walked over and started tracing the images depicted on the wall with his hand.

“Glory…Death…one… might– no, must… choose…” Rain read slowly. His voice soft as if he was afraid anyone would hear. That would be a problem of itself…

However, just as he was concentrating, Celia who was also studying the images happened to passed by and heard him.

“You can read it!!?” Celia asked in surprise.

Thus, in terms of understanding the Ancient Language, she was slightly below compared to her twin sister.

Lafetti and the others, on the other hand, already know of Rain’s exceptional talent in different languages.

He can even understand different monster languages which had different diversities… Ancient Texts was nothing~

Rain shrugs and started reading the engraved hieroglyphics while walking.

As they walked deeper into the cave, there’s one thing that caught Rain’s attention.

Although they should have been even deeper into the cave, aside from being dim, the group can actually still see the area quite clearly than they had imagined.

Even the fire torches or the light orbs conjured by light mages weren’t necessary anymore. Just where is this light coming from?

Rain also felt a breeze blowing from time to time… but that shouldn’t be the case since they are few levels under the ground…

As the group ventured deeper, many monsters constantly pop out, attacking them.

Because he still can’t use magic, due to the [ Lightning Tornado ] which depleted his mana, Rain relied on his sword and daggers more.

Due to this, many members started to view Rain in a different light. Their gazes were still filled with a complicated emotion, but more than anything, they were feeling deep admiration.

Some people even thanked him not knowing that he was actually stealing a huge amount of experience from them.

They thought that he was helping them out of good heart; never did they know that he was just kill–stealing their monsters.

This should be the prime example of being sold without knowing and yet still help the culprit to count their money. Truly, innocent…

Thus, Rain’s popularity began to increase among the people in the group.

He was seen as a kind-hearted, reliable and hyperactive youth.

Knowing this, Rain shrugs and didn’t care.

As long as they didn’t know what he was really doing then fine… let me continue this for a little much longer, oh you so kind and generous people~ Rain mused inwardly.

They took breaks from time to time.

Several people started cooking some simple meals, most commonly were grilled and skewered meats.

Though even if Rain’s popularity had increased, they still made some distance with him during breaks and not even one dared to start a conversation with him. After all, he was always together with the Lamias and Silver Wolf King.

During the battle, no one dared to complain about Zarda and Alba’s carefree attitude. They didn’t even fight and just watched and chat with each other, laughing happily while they risk their lives in the fighting. What a very comfortable and enviable position.

They looked like royalties – even the princess was fighting some monsters and yet the two were really acting nonchalant and carefree as if they were strolling in their own courtyards. Strangely enough, no monsters dared to pick a fight with them although they are so defenseless. It was probably instinct.

Thus, they started to ignore their existence.

Just as they continued their expedition, *biki* a strange sound entered their ears.

There was only a slight pause. They, who were already battle-hardened, did not need to consider anything and knew what this unlucky tearing sound represents.
