《Rain Revert》Chapter 44: [ Celia ]

“I didn’t,” Rain said with a wry smile.
What should I say, I heard it before? It was a famous story back on Earth? Are you kidding me? Let’s forget about believing me coming from another world… that of itself has also its danger…
“I have my way,” Rain only said as he finished his tea and stood up. “Your Highness, it’s getting late… I think I’ll be on my way now,”
“Where are you going?” The princess frowned.
Rain thought it over and shrugged, answering indifferently. “Don’t be like that, your highness.”
“… …”
“We are not enemies so don’t look at me as if you were looking at a suspect in your lover’s death… in any case, I don’t have any interest in stories and hearsays…” Rain calmly said. “Even if the Holy Sword was real, I don’t have any desire to find it… it will only bring me endless trouble, don’t you think so?”
Rain started walking towards the exit. This time no one stopped him as Rain lifted up the fabric door, he suddenly stopped and turned, “Ah right. I don’t know if the story I had heard was similar to those you know but… I heard that the Holy Sword can only be pulled out by the one who is destined to it… it seems like if the sword is real then it’s not something that anyone can pull out…”
“Well then, have a good day, your highness,” Rain flash a smile before he left.
Princess Leticia stared at the fabric door, still shock as to what Rain had just said. She never heard of something like that before… a sword? Is it really a sword? How would he know about it?
Did he possibly see it already?
She could ask him; however, as to whether he would answer or not is completely another matter. She could press him for an answer using his status or threaten him but that would be a foolish decision as Rain was certainly a member of the Aquarian Clan.
The Aquarian Clan might be a loyal retainer of the Royal Family, however, they were also not just a blind servant. If not for the ancient covenant declaring that the Twelve Great Clans wouldn’t desire the throne and would only support the royal family, the Royal Family would certainly start becoming anxious about their position.
In the public, the twelve Great Clans might only be a vassal of the Royal Family, but in fact, the standings of the Great Clans could be said to be equal to that of the Royal Family themselves! Even the royal can’t annoy nor belittle the Great Clans.

Especially the four Great Leader Clans who was holding most of the force of the Kingdom!
– That is the reason why she treated Rain quite well despite meeting for the first time, not even knowing who he really was as well as couldn’t force Rain to speak what she wanted to know. It should be fine if he was from other great clans but… he was an Aquarian…
A troublesome Clan…
The Princess thought of their interaction earlier and suddenly murmured: “What an interesting guy.”
A faint smile appeared on her face. She suddenly found herself, starting to become fond of the Aquarian boy, not just because of his mysterious identity that he seems to be hiding, but more because of his mentality that was top quality.
Although his tone was unyielding, it gave others a feeling of being as free as the wind and as light as carefree as the clouds. He wasn’t arrogant or impatient, much better than those of the other Aquarians.
The Aquarians she knows was just intelligent, too optimistic and friendly to the point of being overfamiliar. However, if you ignored them, they wouldn’t care and in return become extremely distant and cold towards you –giving you heartaches as if you did something bad.
In addition, they are inquisitive, and most of all true trailblazers! They wanted to do something or create something that probably changes the course of history but would give you too many headaches!
And for Aquarians, what is more, important than their lives was… Freedom!
Thus, she wasn’t really that surprised by Rain’s words just now… not going to go back to his Clan?
That was extremely normal as there were already numerous Aquarians in History that went and left for many years before coming back again. They always tend to leave just from a sudden whim of theirs, running off to the opposite corner of the world at a moment’s notice. Not only her, even the Royal Family can’t help but feel headaches to these idiots’ actions!
... ...
... ...
A large number of people are sitting in a circle in the open space at the center of their campsite.
A few specialized magic-stone lamps are set up in the middle.
Bright and flickering, they look almost like flames, dancing amidst the darkness. It really looked like a campfire during field trips or picnics~
It was already dinner and Rain was called out and escorted by one of the servants.
He was led towards the center of the campsite where Princess Leticia and the others were sitting. However, Rain doesn’t like being in the center of attention and most of all, he wasn’t fond of a crowd. Even now, all eyes are on him; curious, wonder, interest and much more were directed at him, making him uncomfortable.

Thus, before he arrived at the center, he changed course and instead made his way to an empty spot and take a seat.
The servant was startled by Rain’s disappearance and she immediately went towards him, saying the princess was inviting him. Rain only responded with, “Please tell the princess, I’m not fond of the crowd. Here is fine,” He said.
He was currently leaning on a huge tree, at the entrance of the forest quite a distance away from the center group. The servant frowned, not knowing what to do, but in the end, she nodded and left. “Thank you,” Rain said.
The servant only nodded in response before continuing on her way.
After a short while, the servant came back, bringing a tray with a bowl of hot soup and a glass of water. “Her Highness said that it can’t be helped but don’t enter the forest where the light of the flames can’t reach as the forest is extremely dangerous at night,”
“I know,” Rain nodded and thank the servant who went away with a shy smile. It seems like being thanked by a noble was rare for her as she felt quite satisfied and happy while walking. She almost hummed on the way.
Rain’s gaze then went to the bowl in his hand. He was exalted. Finally a real food after a long time!!
In the tribe, although he eats raw meat most of the time, but sometimes he grilled some meat or make stew out of it. However, since there were no spices or vegetables, only herbs which give a strange taste, it tasted dull, even though he was originally quite confident in his cooking.
He took a bowl, smelled the rich fragrance, and tried some of the soup. He couldn’t help moaning blissfully. It was real human food, he was really moved. Aroma and taste of the spices… heaven!!
At this moment, he suddenly heard some activity from the side and turned to see Celis walk out. With a plop, she sits down on his right. “How’s the food?”
“Quite good,” Rain replied. Disregarding her sudden appearance. However, Rain still felt discomfort…. What is this?
He sneaks a peek in her direction. However, she notices right away and makes eye contact. Her golden hair is silky and shiny like she’s just taken a bath. Come to think of it, the air around her smells like a flower garden in morning dew.
“What?” Celis stared at Rain’s face, still wearing her gentle smile. However, Rain felt something off… no, don’t tell me…
Rain responded with a faint smile and raised his hand. “Give me five!!”
Celis didn’t know why, but she couldn’t stop smiling. She reached out to clap his hand.
“So, I haven’t seen Celis, where is she?”
“She’s still at the Prince - !?” Celis(?) answered subconsciously then her eyes widened in shock. “How did you know?”
Rain noticed Celis(?) staring at him with shock. He faintly smiled, “As expected,”
The discomfort he was feeling when Celis came as if he didn’t know her or something like that. “Are you her twin sister?”
“That’s right… my name is Celia…” Celia smiled happily. “However, how did you know?”
“… …”
“Since way back, most of the children of the Geminin have always been twins that looked similar to each other. Many people wanted to tell us apart but of course, nobody could do it… only the other can pick out the other and vice versa. And so, how did you know that I am not Celis? Do I not look alike similar to her?” Celia asked curiously.
“Intuition?” answered Rain as he returned his attention to his food. Well, it’s not like he was sure about it, in fact, he asked her that as a test…
Celia stared at Rain and suddenly found herself understanding why her twin sister praise gave him an excellent evaluation even though it was the first time she saw him. This was the first time she’s ever praised a boy so much to her.
Celia recalled her sister’s attitude when she was speaking about Rain. Celis was smiling so sweetly… it was rare for even Celia to see her smile like that.
“You’re really interesting…”
Rain was mystified.
What did she mean by that?
And this tone of voice felt somewhat familiar… even though it sounded like praise on the surface, he felt that there was something prickly beneath. Strange…
Rain frowned and but he ignored her and continued enjoying his first real dinner in this world.
