Rain was still unconscious and didn’t know what was happening around him.
He was being carried by the Werebat who snatched him.
He was asleep since he was injected with paralyzing poison from the Werebats.
Looking at him, every werebats was extremely excited they almost wanted to dance in the air. They all looked at him as if he was a steak from a five-star hotel. The group circled on the monster lair before returning to the right direction of their own lair, afraid that the Lamias would track them down.
Shoo!
As the werebats were happily flying from their victory and high-class loot, at this moment, a magic arrow suddenly appeared and struck the werebat that was carrying Rain.
Gyaaaaahhh!! Struck in the abdomen, the werebat scream in pain and Rain started falling to the ground. Several werebats immediately tried to catch him but they were obstructed by another group of magic missiles and arrows.
“Oh, Goddess of Light, giver of Hope, light my way, covered by darkness and chased away devils in front of me!” Several voices appeared and in an instant, golden light like a replica of a sun suddenly appeared inside the dark cave, illuminating everything.
Seeing this, every giant bats and werebats immediately shriek in pain and fear as they hurriedly retroceded to the shadows. Although some still tried to take back Rain who had fallen on the ground, however, due to the light, they could only give up and retreat into the shadows.
Shaaa!!! Werebats growled towards the several silhouettes that had appeared.
12 people – no, humans. 8 were male, wearing flashy silver with blue colored armors while 4 were females, dressing the same way.
“Begone demons!” yelled out by the female standing at the front while wearing a blue with crimson lining armors. Behind her were the other three females.

“Humans in the lair!!?” A werebat shriek. “Go away! Go away!”
“Go away! Humans go away!”
“Humans evil! Leave!”
“How dare you!” Being chased by, the female was extremely angry, fireballs suddenly appeared around her. It then whistled towards the monsters, slamming into the area where they were hiding. A wind blade also cut towards them.
Shaaa!! The werebats cry in anger.
While the valiant female confronts the werebats that were hiding in the dark corner, several men went towards Rain, checking his pulse. “He’s alive,” said one. “How come he was inside the Lair?” asked another man.
“I don’t know, probably kidnapped.”
“No! No, leave, leave that human! Shaa!!” Seeing Rain being carried by the other men, the werebats started panicking. But when they were hit by the light, they immediately retreated in fear.
“No, leave! Leave that human! He’s ours!!”
“Don’t bring! Don’t snatch! He’s ours!!”
“What are you saying, you demons? How dare you kidnap humans!!” Shing! Several sounds of swords being sheathed. Seeing this, the werebats immediately retreated and flew away. “You’re going to regret this! Your regret taking that human from us!!!You will!!”
What they feared the most was light. Although they won in numbers but as long as there were light, they can’t win.
The female frowned upon hearing the werebats words as she can’t help but turned her head and stared at the youth they had just saved. What did she mean by that?
“Princess, what are we going to do with this boy?” A bearded man walked over.
“How is he?”
“He’s alright. It seems like he was just bitten and injected with a paralysis poison. Even without treating it, he will be okay.”
"Bring him with us!" The valiant woman decided.

"Yes!!"

“Chief!!” Pasa frantically rushed inside Zarda’s tent.
Zarda was currently eating when she heard Pasa’s desperate cry and frowned. “Is something wrong?”
“Chief! Rain, Rain is…”
Zarda’s ruby eyes immediately gleamed as she stood up. “What happened to Rain?”
“Rain, Rain was captured by the Werebats!”
“What!!?” Zarda’s eyes widened in shock and the cup she was holding fell on the ground. Ice covered the ground beneath her. Stagna and Drova’s head also immediately turned and their eyes gleamed dangerously.
“What did you say?” Zarda’s voice remained calm but her eyes shone with an intense killing intent that Pasa felt she would petrify or freeze from just a glance.
Pasa swallowed hard but she still endured and answered, “When we were on the way back, we were ambushed by the Crobats and Werebats. Their target seems to be Rain… we fought but we were caught off guard and Rain was snatched from us,”
“Lafetti?”
“I made her faint. She wanted to chase Rain to take him back but her mind was obviously unstable. I deemed it extremely dangerous and so I decided to return here for now…” Pasa prostrated to the ground. “… I apologize Chief, we couldn’t protect Rain properly!”
“… …” Zarda didn’t answer but the area around her had already started frozen in ice as she balled her fist, clearly enduring her anger.
“Those bastards!!!” She muttered while gnashing her teeth, making a screeching sound. She grit her teeth so hard, everyone could hear it.
Her anger right now can even burn the world. Her eyes almost turned completely red and the slithering small snakes at the top of her head all stood up, glaring at Pasa.
“Pasa, pray that nothing happened to Rain…” Zarda started breathing heavily. She looked like a tiger on the verge of pouncing her prey. “… If not, I will make all of you wish you’re dead!!”
Actually, Zarda really wanted to pounce over and tear her face off. If she wasn’t a great warrior and a tribesman, she would have already killed them in this very instant!!
“… …” Pasa didn’t reply and instead just swallowed fearfully, her hands were slightly shivering. She had already expected this outcome the moment Rain was taken from them. Zarda treat Rain as the tribe’s savior but the most important reason of all was her feelings for Rain.
Who didn’t know that like Lafetti, their chief Zarda held strong affection towards the human youth?
“Stagna, Drova! Call all the warriors of the tribe, even those who are still out… call them back here at this very instant!"
"We had a war to fight!” Zarda ordered.
“…we will show them what will happen to those who stole from us!”
“Yes, Chief!” Drova replied seriously. Although unlike Zarda and Lafetti, she doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Rain but she had already seen him as her little brother so she was also extremely angry.
“Understood Chief!” Stagna, on the other hand, felt like her fingers would stab into her thigh.
