Chapter 6
-Ria POV-
The elf and humans were both praised in front of the whole school as heroes for not caring for their own life and bravely fighting the C rank Daema. Ria was called the shame of the academy since the elf and human made sure to emphasize the fact that she didn’t do much, they also emphasized on the fact she ran away as they bravely risked their live fighting the beast. The school did check the corpse to confirm the kill and dispose of the now dead bodies and since they were confirmed as C rank level she wasn’t demoted to F rank despite the fact they thought she ran away. The elf and human were promoted to D rank since defeating a C rank daema is considered to be near impossible for a E rank. The school didn’t really bother to check if their story is true since they sooner admit the human and elf was the heroic brave students who stood their ground against a C rank rather than a demibeast.
She didn’t really mind being called a coward by the whole school. She also had a friend to talk to now. She would go to the forest once in a while to find Dalek and if she was lucky he would be there. In a way he was the only reason she could somehow tolerate how she is treated in the academy.
-Dalek POV-
After his initial encounter with the demibeast named Ria he would now stay at the area of the forest they first encountered one another since she would sometimes go there to find him. He enjoyed her company since unlike the other demons in his world she wasn’t cowardly enough to hide her resentment towards the humans. He isn’t aware of what caused such hate but it was obvious she rather not talk about it so he didn’t ask.
-Ria POV-
When she was free and Dalek wasn’t at the usual spot she would practice her swordmanship since she was well aware of the fact that when she was travelling in a group using magic wasn’t an option. Since her magic was much too weird to not bring some suspicion on herself if someone sees her using it. Most mages had to recite long incantations to use spells not even close to the power of the spells she was capable of using. Actually she wasn’t even sure if what she was doing could be considered spells since she could control any element at will. She is well aware of the fact she is different but now that she has studied in the academy she become increasingly aware of how weird she was.

Just like that she continued her routine and in the blink of an eye she was about to turn 11 and the school was about to hold the promotion test for the students. For Rank E students the test is a simple tournament among the rank E students. The top 100 students in the tournament will get promoted to D rank. There were thousands of E rank students so getting promoted to D rank wasn’t as easy as it seems. The other rank has other forms of test to see if they qualify to get promoted but since it doesn’t affect her she couldn’t be bothered to research what the other rank had to do to get promoted.
The school has sent her mainly on solo missions in the past year to kill rank E daema so in the whole year ever since her fight with the C rank daema she hasn’t gotten the chance to fight properly in actual combat. So she was happy about the tournament since it’s a good chance to see how she well she fares against other people her rank. Eventually the tournament was to start and she as well as all the rank E students gathered at the hall for the briefing.
-Teacher explaining tournament-
The match up for the tournament is simple there are the preliminary a kind of battle royal round involving 100 students fighting and the last 10 remaining will move on to the next round. The next round will be the exact same thing with 100 rank E who survived the first round in a battle royal and the last 10 remaining moves on. The 3rd round will be a normal tournament style involving the remaining students. Any student who makes it to the 3rd round will get promoted to D rank since the 3rd round only involves the top 100 students remaining.
In the 2 battle royal real weapons aren’t permitted. Instead special weapons that will teleport anything it fatally wounds out of the arena will be provided. The weapon won’t actually injure anyone but any attack that would be fatal will teleport the person who received the hit out of the arena. Mages are allowed to use spells since all students will be given special armor that will automatically teleport the wearer out of the arena if hit by spells considered fatal. The armor will also negate the spell in question to prevent any injuries. The 3rd round however allows the use of real weapons and the special armor won’t be provided. Killing is prohibited but being injured in the 3rd round is common occurrence. D rank students and above will be taking their test at locations outside the school so for the duration of the test the academy will be occupied solely by the rank E students and the there will also be 1 B rank student on standby in the academy in case of emergencies.

-Ria POV-
The B rank student on standby was introduced by the teacher by his title.
Blazing wind is the title of the B rank student. It didn’t really matter much to her since she had no intention of getting close to anyone in the school not as if anyone was interested in getting close to her anyways since she is a demibeast.
-Blazing wind POV-
“Why the hell do I have to be here to protect this batch of weaklings. I rather go and kill some daema at least that would be a little entertaining.” He was thinking to himself as he stood there looking at the students.
Suddenly a student caught his eye. She was stunning a real beauty despite her still tender age. She looks to be 9, 10 maybe 11 but he could tell she would look stunning once she grew up. Her eyes were of different colour but that somehow added to her charm. She was however a demibeast since he could easily see her fox tail and ears. She was nevertheless the most beautiful thing he has ever layed his eyes on. Such a beauty a shame she is a demibeast. But nevertheless maybe being here won’t be as boring as he thought it would be.
-Ria POV-
After the briefing she noticed the B rank student was staring at her. She wasn’t quite sure why but she didn’t want to find out so she left as to her assign arena for her test as soon as they were dismissed. The academy had many such arenas and she was assigned to take her test in arena C.
In the entrance of the arena teachers were handing out the armor and weapon to each student at the entrance of the arena. As soon as she was given her weapon and armor she quickly put the breastplate, gauntlets and steel boots on. She gripped her weapon which was a claymore similar to what she always used but it was made completely out of metal without the need of pouring mana into it for a blade. The blade had engravings on it which she assumed was what caused the teleportation. The armor she now wore had similar engravings on it.
What greeted her in the arena was a huge open space similar to a colloseum. It was huge and there were 99 students in there all spread apart. She looked at the other students who wore the exact same armor of different sizes but weapons unique to each individual.
There was a huge screen like hologram displayed in the middle of the place with the number 10 on it. It didn’t take long for her to realize what it was there for as the number slowly changed.
9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0
By the time it reached zero the screen disappeared and the test began.

Forced Immortality
Guy dies, transmigrates and then dies some more. Contrary to what you might think, this is actually a story about an OP protagonist. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things to keep in mind before reading: - I have never written a story before so this will most likely end up being pretty bad. - I have done zero planning for this story. - This is mostly something i wanted to try out in my freetime so updates are going to be sporadic at best. - Chapter length will fluctuate until i figure out this whole writing thing. - I have no idea if there will be romance. Might add it in the future if this story somehow doesn't end up as a failure. - There will be some stuff from the Star Wars Universe but this is NOT a Star Wars fanfiction. - The story will be pretty explicit in the gore department so if your squeamish, beware. - This story will be a slow burn. - If any of the above changes, i'll update the synopsis and i might make a seperate chapter just detailing these points. - Last point, English isn't my native language so have some mercy on my poor soul, ok? If none of the above has scared you away then i invite you to join me on this catastrophic ride. It'll probably be kinda fun.....hopefully... This story is also on Scribblehub and Webnovel.
