《The Chaos Immortal》Chapter 19 - I'm on a boat!

The flying ship was large. There was a small building right outside the city next to the ship.
Shen and Xue’er went inside the building hand in hand. There were a few cultivators lined up in front of a counter. An uninterested looking old woman was dealing with the cultivators buying tickets.
Soon it was the couple’s turn. The old woman simply stared at Shen and Xue’er without saying anything.
At the entrance, there was a sign that read ‘Blue Cloud city – 100 mid-grade spirit stones’ beside the door.
Shen wordlessly placed 200 mid-grade spirit stones in front of the old woman, whom in return gave them two wooden tokens.
“Well that was a weird experience.” Shen stated as the couple walked towards the ship.
There was a Nascent Soul cultivator standing in front of the ship checking the tokens as people boarded.
The ship was hovering a few feet above the ground. The people would have to fly up towards the ship to embark. There were a few Qi Condensation stage juniors being carried by their seniors onto the ship.
The ship was surprisingly shaped like a normal sea going ship. Although it did not have a sail or mast, it gave off an imposing image with its large hull and a dull black construction.
“Wow this looks like Titanic! Without the smoke stacks, though.” Shen once more exclaimed once they arrived on the deck.
“What’s Titanic?” Xue’er tilted her head to one side and asked. Little White was once more in Xue’er bosom looking around the ship. Xiao Yan was on Shen’s shoulder seemingly asleep.
“Oh, it was a famous large ship on another planet. It couldn’t fly though. It sunk in the sea.”
“Oh.” Xue’er didn’t ask anymore. She lost interest after finding out that the ship couldn’t fly. It was taken for granted that various things could be refined into flying devices. It was abnormal for something to only float in the sea.

“This trip will take over a week. Blue Cloud city is quite far from here. We should go check out the ship’s features.”
Shen and Xue’er headed inside the large interior. The ship had small rooms for rent as well as restaurants and a market area. It surely would not be a boring trip.
“Big Brother Shen, we should rent a room first.”
“Ok, let’s do that.”
Inside the large main hall within the ship, there was a restaurant with hundreds of seats not far from the entrance. A small office with a sign that read ‘Cabin Rentals’ was located on the right side of the entrance.
“Wow, that was expensive.” They had paid 500-mid grade spirit stones for a basic cabin with a bed. It was the cheapest type available with the room only having a set of table and chairs accompanied by a bed on one side. It was the very definition of simplistic.
Shen and Xue’er along with the two spirit beasts took the stairs down into the bottommost floor where their cabin was located. There were also many other cultivators walking about to get to their cabins.
There were all sorts of people ranging from lone rogue cultivators to groups of disciples from small sects that did not have a large flying device.
Most of them kept to themselves while occasional friendly cultivator would give a smile. There were also a few people Shen noticed from the competition.
Soon, the couple found their cabin. The door was unlocked using the badge they received from the rentals office.
“Wow, these badges sure are convenient. They work in just about any situation.” Shen recalled all sorts of security methods he observed in the past. The security in this planet seems to be rather lacking, however. Anyone could obtain a badge and use it.

However, Shen didn’t know that the act of stealing or obtaining someone else’s possessions were generally frowned upon, even in a world where strength was the ultimate answer.
“Big Brother Shen, look! We can see the outside as the ship flies!” Xue’er was very excited about their new experience. She has not flown on a large flying device before.
The cabin had a small window as they had gotten one of the cabins next to the walls of the ship. Although, one could just go on the deck to experience air travel fully, it was a novel thing for Shen and Xue’er.
“Let’s go onto the deck.”
They exited their cabin and went up the stairs to reach the deck. Roughly two thirds of the deck were covered by a roof with a restaurant, market area and other facilities of the ship.
The deck they came up to was different to the entrance at the front of the ship. This was at the back of the ship with a relatively large area. There were quite a few tables and chairs littered around.
“Xue’er, there seems to be another restaurant here.”
It was indeed another restaurant. It had a small open air kitchen and the chairs and tables spread out on the deck seem to be for the restaurant. There were already a few people sitting down and chatting in groups.
The signboard at the counter read ‘Wine in the Sky’. Shen thought it was a very appropriate name. Shen and Xue’er chose a seat and sat down. A waiter came over hurriedly.
“Hello sirs, what can I get you?”
“Two bottles of your best wine and three plates of snacks.” Shen handed over a handful of mid-grade spirit stones. He had exchanged the spirit stones he gained from the auction to mid and top grades since low-grade spirit stones were abundant in Xue’er’s bag of holding.
The waiter received the spirit stones and left in a cheerful manner. It was likely that Shen had overpaid and the leftover spirit stones would be his tip.
Soon, the snacks and wine arrived. Little White and Xiao Yan as usual started feasting on the snacks on the table. Xue’er seemed to enjoy pouring wine for Shen as he slowly savoured the taste. The wine was nowhere near the quality of Green Bamboo restaurant, however, the atmosphere made it enjoyable nonetheless.
More cultivators arrived over the next hour.
“The ship will be departing for Blue Cloud city shortly. If you are found without a ticket, you will be stripped of your bag of holding and kicked off the ship. We wish you a safe and enjoyable journey.”
The sudden announcement reverberated in the ears of every passenger on the ship.
Shortly after, the large flying ship started rising into the air. It turned towards the east and slowly started accelerating.
“Xue’er, our journey officially starts from now!” Shen exclaimed as he took a good swig of wine. Xue’er pleasantly smiled and watched the surroundings as the ship sped up.

Curse of Change (Hiatus)
(Hiatus to work of my other fiction)What if the world was keeping secrets? Secrets so dark and powerful that one must simply be unaware of them lest they be destroyed. Experiments that are too horrible to reveal, hidden monsters too terrible to release. Darkness the overwhelms the light, power that trumps all, beings of ferocity unseen by the masses. What would you do if you stumbled across one of these secrets? What COULD you do?------------------------------------------------------------[Hey everyone, this is MultiBlitz15. Apart from writing stories for english class in school, this is my first time ever writing a fiction, so please bear with me. I intend this to be a story involving the ""what if's"" of life and the darker sides of humanity. The story will start on Earth but will escalate into something much, much more. That is where the fantasy tag will come into play. On the topic of tags, some of them may not be permanent and some simply haven't been added yet. Also, I DO NOT intend to include sex scenes or major tragedy in my fiction. While there might be sexual references and minor tragedies, there shouldn't be anything beyond that. Finally, this fiction is rated Mature 18+ due to the incredible amounts of blood, gore, brutality, and other stuff I intend to include. Thank you, and please enjoy the story!](P.S If you find grammar mistakes, please let me know in the comments, I would greatly appreciate it.)(P.P.S I finished adding more content to the previous chapters!!)

Monster? So be it,
Generic Monster Isekai story. Guy dies, meets a god, the entity says that he is willing to reincarnate him to a new world as a new creature, etc etc. The protagonist is an established serial killer on his past life so I'll probably make a grimdark setting or something. Idk
