《Emerald》65

We moved around on foot the next day. With Ron being weak from his injury, we didn't want to risk it.
After we set up 'camp', we tried to destroy the Horcrux.
Everything we tried didn't work.
We were at a stand still.
We all took turns wearing it, to keep it safe.
Harry and I sat outside the tent with Hermione, as Ron rested inside.
You could hear the radio inside, listing the names of the dead for the day.
"Does hearing that bug you as much as it bugs me?" I asked Harry.
With every name that was listed, anger grew inside of me.
You could tell it did the same for Harry.
Harry stood up quickly.
"Don't!" Hermione yelled at him.
Harry huffed loudly, as he sat back down.
"It puts my teeth on edge!" Harry argued.
"It comforts him." Hermione spoke softly.
"It's just not what we wanna hear, Hermione." I sighed.
"When can we get moving again?" Harry asked quickly.
"Not for a while, Ron's too weak. I'm doing everything I can." Hermione came and sat by us.
"You're not doing enough!" Harry yelled loudly.
You could see the anger build behind his eyes.
"Take it off, Harry." I demanded, as I held my hand out.
He rolled his eyes, before taking the Horcrux off.
I placed it around my neck, and tucked it into my shirt.
"Better?" Hermione asked him.
"Loads." Harry sighed with relief.
...
After a few hours of having it, I gave it to Ron for his turn.
The Horcux made my thoughts worse.
They teared me apart from the inside out.
That night I stood outside at the edge of our border, smoking a cigarette.
I watched the enchanted walls rippled in the wind.

They were translucent, clear as glass.
"It's cold out here." Hermione whispered to me.
"It's pretty chilly." I put the rest of my cigarette out.
"You've been out here for a while, you should come in. The boys are getting worried." Hermione gave me a weak smile.
"Yeah, yeah." I sighed.
"You've been thinking, about him." Hermione replied.
"I always am, I just can get him out of my head. I don't even know what to think. Every thought that crosses my mind, is Draco. Draco, and only Draco." I rolled my eyes.
I was annoyed with myself.
I wanted to think about Draco, but I didn't at the same time.
I wanted to hate him, but I didn't at the same time.
"I guess you're still unsure-" Hermione spoke, but quickly stopped when a tree branch snapped in the distance.
We stood silent and still, as a group of men walked by.
One with long hair stopped, right at the enchantments.
His face was filthy, his hair was snarled.
He stood inches away, the only thing that separated us, was the enchanted wall.
The man sniffed deeply through his nose.
"What are you doing?" A man from his group yelled.
The man turned towards him.
"I'm coming." He groaned as he walked away.
Hermione and I, remained quiet until they were out of our sight.
"They're snatchers." Harry spoke from behind us.
"They're looking for people to take to the ministry, right?" I asked Harry.
He nodded quickly.
"They could smell my perfume, or her cigarette." Hermione whispered.
"Either way, I'm glad to know your enchantments work." Harry groaned and rubbed his face.
The snatchers seemed to appear out of no where.
"Let's go inside." Hermione spoke quietly.

The three of us began walking back to the tent.
"Will you cut my hair, Hermione." Harry asked her.
"Sure." Hermione still spoke quietly.
She was deep in thought, I could tell.
I laid down on my bed, as Hermione cut Harry's hair in the tent.
Ron laid in a separate room, as he continued to listen to his radio.
"Oh my gosh!" Hermione screeched, she quickly put the scissors down.
Hermione walked over to a table, and quickly opened her book.
"What?" Harry asked frantically, as he put his hand to the back of his head.
He grew anxious as he ran his hand through his hair.
"You've destroyed Horcrux's before, right Harry?" Hermione asked him.
"Yeah," Harry quickly walked over to Hermione, "with a basilisk fang. If you've got one of them in your bag, that would be brilliant."
Harry spoke sarcastically, as he sat down across from her.
I sat up from in my bed.
"No, but you killed the basilisk in the chamber of secrets with the sword of gryffindor!" Hermione exclaimed.
"So...." Harry threw his hands up in the air.
"The sword of gryffindor, is goblin made!" Hermione smiled.
Harry stared blankly at her.
I quickly walked over.
"Goblin-made items, only absorb what makes them stronger!" I yelled, as I sat down next to them.
It all clicked in Harry's head.
"You're brilliant!" Harry smiled, taking Hermione by her hand.
They lights quickly went out.
Our heads quickly turned to Ron.
He stood at the entry way, and let the nights back into the room.
"Yeah, I'm still here!" Ron snarled at us from underneath his breath.
His eyes were dark, and filled with anger.
"If you've got something to say, then say it." Harry stood up.
"I just thought that we would have figured out something by now! I just thought Dumbledore would have told you either how to find them or destroy them!" Ron began yelling.
"Ron take it off! You wouldn't be saying this if you hadn't been wearing it this long!" Hermione begged Ron, as she tugged at the Horcrux's around his neck.
Ron pushed her away.
"I thought you knew what you signed up for! What did you think we were staying at a 5 star hotel? Did you think that we would be finding Horcrux's every other day? Did you think you were going to be back by your mum by Christmas? " Harry yelled back.
"Do you know why I listen to that radio every night?" Ron spat "To make sure I don't hear Ginnys name, or Fred, or George, or mum!"
"You don't think I know how this feels!" Harry screamed.
"No, you don't know how this feels! Your parents are dead! You have no family!" Ron screamed at Harry from the bottom of his lungs.
Those words hit Harry, and sunk into his chest.
Harry's face sank a little.
"Ron! You asshole!" I yelled at him.
"Don't get me started with you!" Ron turned towards me.

8 103Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. Since the founding of Farrien, the Aerianne and Kanarian Archduchies have been pillars upholding the Kingdom from enemies. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
