She completely treated my new body as a pet dog, even naming it and taking advantage of it just to name me.

Oh well, this body is functioning greatly, and I don't have a problem with it. Alicia is even holding onto her promise to unlock C-rank walls and is in the process of unlocking it as I cook up some minced pork cutlets. But I would have to say...

"She doesn't even look like she is doing anything. Just standing there with her eyes closed." ( Fen/Geon )

Even if that's the case, I don't see anything that's particularly happening around her. We were also told to stay outside until she is finished. The smell of my cooking is attracting a lot of attention, so I had the monsters stand guard. Driving away anything that comes too close. As time passed I cook up another batch of minced pork cutlet.

Some odd animals popped up after a little while. All they did was just stare at me and the monsters around me then went away. I set aside a lot of cutlet for Alicia in the fridge and start working on cakes.

As I'm cooking this time around I spot them. Two kids dressed in rags, brown hair and brown eyes looking like twins. The male twin had a single horn in the center of his forehead whilst the female twin had a horn on each side of the upper half of her forehead.

They were peeking from behind the tree. It's obvious they aren't human but I notice that they are malnourished. I feel pity for them, seeing kids like this so far out in the wilderness and malnourished.

"*Sigh* You two over there I can see you." ( Fen/Geon )

"!!!" ( ??? )

They quickly try to hide, but their attempt at hiding is poor at best.

"Kagami, please bring those two over here Gentilly." ( Fen/Geon )

"...Chocolate..." ( Kagami )

"yes, yes, this cake will be chocolate." ( Fen/Geon )

After hearing me those two begin dashing away. But their speed is a joke in front of Kagami but when I ask for 'it' to be gentle it took a bit more time than expected.

From examining them up close, I confirmed what they are. Oni, folklore yokai, or at least according to my memory. There are versions of them being giant ogre-like creatures with red skin wielding clubs but the ones I'm more familiar with are simply humans with horns and super strength.

Looking at their malnourished appearance was painful to see so I began feeding them some cutlets I left for Alicia, if she complains then I'll just make more. I love food since it can solve most of my problems.

I began talking to them as Kagami gobbles down the chocolate cake I made.

"um...what are your names?" ( Fen/Geon )

"mrph uph rph mph" ( Oni Twins )

This two are stuffing themselves with the cutlets, but it's rather concerning as the speed they are eating makes me think they should be choking so I prepared some water just in case but...

They haven't taken a sip but have gone through 5 entire batches. I cooked up 1 more batches to the side in case Alicia wants some.

It was only after they have finished did they start talking to me.

"Thanks, Big Bro. My name is Nickola and this is my younger brother Nickolaus." ( Nickola )

"Thanks for the meal big bro." ( Nickolaus )

Nickola is a loud one but on the other hand, Nickolaus is a quiet one. Now I'm not sure what to do to them.

"By the way, Big Bro did you tame all these monsters!?" ( Nickola )

"In a sense, yes, all of these are my monsters." ( Fen/Geon )

"That's amazing! although I'm friendly to animals I could never be friends with a monster except for this little guy." ( Nickola )

Something green pops out from her clothes. It looks like a mongoose but its fur is entirely green, even its eyes are green and when it opened it's mouth its tongue was green. Everything aside from the white eyeballs and the black iris is green.

What in the world!?

Ok, now that is an odd monster.

"His name is Brian, Say hi Brian" ( Nickola )

"Yeh! Yah!" ( Brian )

Now it makes strange noises as well.

"That is a rather...unique monster, so how did you tame him?" ( Fen/Geon )

"I don't know, it just approached me one day then went under my clothes and stayed there. Since then this little guy has protected me and my little brother by shielding us from attacks." ( Nickola )

Is this girl just lucky or is that mongoose even getting anything in return?

I'll just leave that for now. So how should I handle these two?

I make a decision. I don't like seeing those malnourished appearances after all and abandoning kids like these will definitely weigh on me.

"Would you like to come with me from now on?" ( Fen/Geon )

For a moment, these two stares blankly at me.

"Um, will you feed us every day?" ( Nickolaus )

"Yes." ( Fen/Geon )

"What kind of food will you feed us!?" ( Nickola )

Nickola looks me dead in the eye. I could already tell from their appearance that they had it hard but looking into this girls eye now make me think otherwise. They aren't even doubting me like they barely had any interactions.

"Well, don't worry about that. All I can say is a variety." ( Fen/Geon )

"Can I trust you on that?" ( Nickola )

"I'm still getting to know recipes so sometimes they might turn out wrong or turn out good." ( Fen/Geon )

They look towards each other and simultaneously nods.

"Then we will come with you." ( Nickola )

Then...I would like to recruit these two.

Just as the recruitment finishes, I get a message informing me that Alicia is almost done.
