《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 33 - Revival

How long has it been, since the great I last step foot into this world unshackled from everything?
Not once. One way or another I am always shackled, by those disgusting spirits. They never understood a thing, only seeking power for themselves. Sitting on top of their fragile thrones, only interested in growing more powerful.
Because of that, they never understood my great riddle of pride. It's useless trying to making me submit, doing so only proves thous stupidity. All these maggots do when I appear in their monster is cage me immediately, then try taming me in hopes of gaining the benefits and power of the sin 'Pride'.
They think nothing of it since for the omniscient one knows how! This method has unbelievably at some point worked for the other sins and virtues! I wanted to reprimand them, have them thoroughly know that they are being treated the same way as inferior lifeforms!
Sadly, I could never hurl as many insults as I would like to their faces personally. I could never meet face to face with any of them. The simple fact that I'm being locked up in a cage is not only an unforgivable form of disrespect but an inexcusable insult.
I also made them repay me one way or another with their lives. Giving them an appropriate punishment for their crimes against me before sending them off to the cycle of reincarnation.
I have never failed in properly executing punishment. Except one time, because of the one who solved my riddle. However, even I can't fault this spirit since it was recycling that irredeemable filth into something very useful. As much as I wanted to punish this inbred incubus scum, I understand and shall agree with that decision.
My wait is finally over, I have at last gained freedom and I have a suitable spirit by my side. Thus I shall prioritize thou's survival giving only minimal help in the beginning and gaining purification to keep my body clean. Soon after I gave thou advice and as a result, sent myself into a temporary slumber.

Maybe I thought too highly of thee since the first thing I detected when I woke up was thou's unstable mind and my body in the state of a cripple. I gather myself and go through the memories of the spirit.
"I see." ( Alicia )
Having completely perused the memories, I understand the next course of action.
"Those mere mortals dare to touch this one's possessions, even going as far as stealing them and humiliating this one. " ( Alicia )
I severed the cauterized flesh and let the vampire's natural regeneration take over. And after healing up, I head off to the village.
"Unforgivable cretins, for whatever reason thou have done this deed, thou have made the worst mistake possible. [Purification] [Acceleration] [Mana Endurance]." ( Alicia )
The domain spell canceled itself immediately after the spirit entered it's slumber, leaving behind an enormous amount of unused mana. In just a few moment's I have made it to the center of the village. Suddenly appearing there frightened the surrounding villagers.
"Thou sins can only be washed away by thou's deepest despair. Unfortunately, the great I am currently not powerful enough to carry it out." ( Alicia )
Regardless of my knowledge, this body is still growing and is unable to use the necessary amount of power for their punishment. I need an assistant, oh? this one's spirit contains fragments of a creature. A creature worthy enough to fulfill the duty of carrying out punishment on those foolish mortals. How unfortunate, that even if it does get revived, it would be too weak to fight them and bring them down.
But regardless, it is still worthy of being one part of my plan. However, it irks me that I need to use my power a couple of times in one day with this developing body. Collecting the scattered fragments, I intend to fuel its rebirth with an enormous amount of DP. Raising the spirit's container into the air, I execute it.

"[ {P} {O}{R}: {F} {D} ({T}) {A}; {O}{L} {F} ]" ( Alicia )
As the light suddenly spreads from this container, it covers the entire village causing the villagers to lose all strength their strength and collapse onto the ground.
Sucking away all the mana and emotions from the villagers to gain DP, and during this process induce fear and despair to supercharge the DP gain.
"Apologies, but for the sake of this punishment, the great I will be feeding on all your mana and emotions." ( Alicia )
Terror is present on the faces of these villagers, seemingly thinking I'm some sort of demon.
"In the future, I shall return and bless this village, in return for its service today. Cease thou worries, the great I will never kill those who don't provoke me." ( Alicia )
Every word I speaks is filled with my Pride. Discarding every sense of falseness, becoming the one and only truth from me. However, these villagers appear to think I'm lying. Forget it, whether they believe me or not is up to them.
"Now, enough energy shall soon be gathered for thy rebirth. Oh!?" ( Alicia )
The process of its rebirth is already in motion, I can stop it once it has started but this event only impels me to continue it despite the unexpected variable.
"Now this is surprising, thou wishes to go beyond what the great me is offering for thou's rebirth?" ( Alicia )
Even as some of the villagers pass out from the strain I'm putting on them, I can only be happy about this outcome, as that means I will not have to waste more of my power.
"Very well, I need not waste more energy to create another assistant. Be reborn and feast to thou's heart's content on the mana and emotions of this village. Remember well, thy first duty is to defeat, punish and destroy those tiny fleas." ( Alicia )
Numerous glows permeates through the surroundings, turning the village into a sea of light. as the light slowly dissipates, 'it' comes into existence. Containing nothing other than a racially powerful natural instinct and the desire protect its own life as well as the spirit connected to it.
"Hahaha. Astounding. Claiming that, and merging with it, on top of an evolution no less. Sadly the spirit received no improvements despite thou being one with the spirit. Well, can't be helped, since this was completed outside of that forsaken system." ( Alicia )
"...foood?..." ( ??? )
"Thou's meal are those little fleas. Follow me, the more time we waste, the further those fleas will escape." ( Alicia )
"...yaaay..." ( ??? )
...
The two set off, although none of the villagers died and everyone recovered soon after, the village was still traumatized by this event. A frail silver-haired girl and by her side, a sinister child became the symbols of fear for that village in the coming months.

8 110Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. As the first modern war came to a close in November 1st, 1918, rows of passed juveniles laid the battlefields. In the name of some royal fat cats or some shitty national leader, cruelty and crimes were committed against the weak and the vulnerable younglings; in other words, adults were assholes. Their deaths marked a new beginning, a new beginning in a strange and magical land that was and had only been dreamt of in stories and folk tale, they had arrived to Terruta. The first ones regarded themselves as Revenants, heroes who had been able to be reborn in this world and began their adventure to explore this strange foreign land. However, “every coin have two sides, like everyone have two faces”. 'As they left their former life behind, the young soldiers and operators found themselves being deceived, abused and taken advantaged off again by the elders of this world. Many were abused, tortured, raped and sold to slavery, Revenants were quite sought after due to their timeless charm, strength, intellect and immortality, they were unable to be killed no matter what; many were bought and used as pets, slaves and entertainers for their masters’ entertainment. Fed up with the similar treatment and abuse by the adults of this world, many revolted and founded ICC, International Cooperative Coalition.'-Sasaki Kotegawa, JSDF Private.
