《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 26 - Rampart's Attack & The Vampire's Dance

I have lived 52 years currently. I saw comrades die to save me. I saw comrades betray me. I saw enemies heartlessly squash my children(monsters) and plunder them for materials.
I hated humans'. I hated elves', I hated dwarfs. I hated people. I hated spirits. I hate everyone. I was like this dungeon spirit in my vision, naive and trusting to other dungeons even knowing the history of betrayal between dungeon spirits. Knowing not the full extent of the cruelty people and spirits alike are capable of.
I have lived these 50 years on the run, evading hunters and other spirits. Sometimes forming bonds with these dungeon spirits, resulting in either a saddening loss or cruel betrayal.
I needed to adapt and become cruel and backstabbing in order to survive. You know what? I began enjoying it. With my new mobile sub-core body I could inflict the cruelty others have inflicted on me back hundreds of times over.
I even made toys of the children(monsters) from other dungeons spirits. Like what I'm going to do to that vampire. I enjoyed every last moment of crushing newbies because they are such easy targets. I became better at eluding hunters. I use females to increase my monster count, as its much more efficient that way.
I knew to make a huge dungeon as the longer intruders stay in the more I learn about them and predicting how strong they are by the amount of DP they give me.
I began loving every single second of my life, as I became the predator feasting on all the prey that come before me. Escaping when an even bigger predator comes, leaving my slaves(monsters) to fend for themselves as I pull myself away from danger.
I even learned to anger intruders and spirits by simply talking to them with my natural self, making them lose their cool and making the wrong judgment call when they need it. I am have turned into a cruel being only knowing how to be a perfect dungeon.

Even my guide had said I became perfect as a dungeon spirit for survival. All it said was be careful of other dungeons spirits as the rules of the duel could be my own downfall, I took that advice seriously and started picking out my targets carefully.
This dungeon spirit in my vision is the new target. With only a single child...
[Founding Vampire]
-HP: Strong
-MP: Superior
-STR: Strong
-DEF: Strong
-MAG: Superior
-AGI: Superior
I found this odd, as founding vampires are known to 'at least' be capable of fighting those 1 rank above them with the use of their Innate abilities. However, I suspected this vampire may be hiding its abilities through some means.
I decided to rank the vampire of a D-rank just to be safe, but it still wasn't enough to even make it past the first room. I didn't even feel any other presences than the vampire and the mobile sub-core.
From what I can gather from the sub-core, it has yet to experience many things. A mobile sub-cores appearance depends on what happens in their life and what they experience. Even the smallest things on the mobile sub-core can tell of their past.
A newborn dungeon spirit will have a mobile sub-core looking like a blank slate, a featureless and colorless small almost inanimate figure. The fact it isn't that much different than the blank slate means it hasn't lived long currently making it easy prey.
Yes, easy prey. A horde of E-ranks with a few Ds added in for good measure should more than enough to suffice.
I see her form a rapier from her blood into her left hand as she closely protects and embraces the mobile sub-core with her right arm.
Now then little vampire, I shall enjoy your taste first then leave you to rot as a seedbed. I might have spared you from becoming a seedbed had you surrendered and served me but know that I would still use you as a sacrifice for my escape.

I turn my vision off and rest, waiting for the news of my triumph.
...
......
.........
hmm? what's taking so long?
I turn my vision back on.
...
Where is she? I cannot find her. All I found was nothing, not even my monster's corpse.
"Guider, Where is she?" ( Rampart )
----
"Yes" ( Rampart )
I'm brought back to where I left off to wait.
My monster horde charges in ready to beat the girl half to death, what I saw next was unbelievable. The vampire girl immediately shot passed average D-rank speeds, even closing in on C-rank speeds. Everything in her path was quickly and gracefully killed, without even the slightest instance of wasted movement.
Using that speed and small figure to thread herself through my monsters, causing a lot of hits towards friendlies. Never losing her calm unlike what I intended.
I see it clearly, she is dancing without care and without worry like there isn't any danger at all. Soon enough my monster horde all dies, E-ranks couldn't even stand a single strike from her rapier while D-ranks only wait for the incoming demise.
"This pig! You dare to treat my horde like nothing!!!! Just wait until my C-ranks catches you!!!!!" ( Rampart )
After the death of my horde, she chants something.
"[Blood of the fallen---Surrender to my will]" ( Alicia )
All the blood from my dead monsters flies towards her, even draining them down to their last drop and gathering into a small sphere floating in front of her and begins following her.
Her shadow then extends, enveloping the remaining flesh and bones, dragging them into another dimension.
As I thought, she was hiding her abilities. Regardless she still cannot stand up to my C-rank monsters.
She soon proceeds, unobstructed by anything. I stop the recording and turn my dungeon omniscient back on. Although this method is effective, it can get tiring when the dungeon gets too big. I even suffered from quick blackouts while using it, as a result, I only turn it back on when times call for it.
I find her immediately.........ending her dance with the death of my C-rank Giant Minotaur.
"YOU B*TCH, I DON'T HAVE MANY C-RANK MONSTERS, TO BEGIN WITH. HOW DARE YOU!!!!!" ( Rampart )
"How rude of you to call me a mutt, I prefer being called a feline." ( Alicia )
