《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 16 - Spider & Dungeon modification.

For the new monster, I choose a spider monster, I need it to just be a spider that is specialized in thread usage.
Regardless if it's for offensive, defensive, or special usages, just being specialized in using threads is enough for me.
And Soon enough I found the monster, the Weaver Spider.
It can use its threads for almost any number of things, traps, sensor, cutting, blocking and hiding, it is capable of all of these and more, the downside is, the thread themselves aren't very strong, enough forces can snap them.
Since I need this spider solely for surveillance, it's fine enough for me at the moment, also I should give it some evolutionary properties since this one may be staying with me for a long time.
Ah, the price for opening a path for it to one day become an Arachne is surprisingly cheap, in that case, I should make a good investment into this monster.
Get this evolutionary path to Arachne.
oh, add in this Jack of all trades potential for the versatile thread usage.
Have its growth be focused on threads-based skills.
Give it Stealth, Concealment, Presence Cloak, Blend, Disguise, Detection and All-Rounded Resistance for survivability.
Ok so the final cost's will be
[Total Cost: 7,594 DP]
[Accept?]
A little over budget but this monster should work wonders.
Accept.
[Remaining: 18,074 DP]
A small dark blue spider appeared.
Despite its small appearance it even seems a little sinister.
[Weaver Spider] Newborn
-HP: Average
-MP: Strong
-STR: Average
-DEF: Average

-AGI: Strong
-Innate Abilities: Thread Manipulation, Night-Vision, Thought Acceleration, Parallel Thought, Calculation
-Abilities: Stealth, Concealment, Presence Cloak, Blend, Disguise
-Powers: Detection
-Resistance: All-Rounded Resistance
Even its status is nothing to laugh at.
I immediately ordered it to build a sort of surveillance network with web outside of this dungeon, seemingly having understood me, it begins spinning a web and moves towards the outside, ah one more thing I ordered it to make a home and base in here, but after I'm done editing this dungeon to my tastes.

I spot Oozer and eye-bat, they are waiting, maybe to execute my new orders?
Well, for now, I have Oozer continue eating rocks and get Eye-bat to keep surveillance not outside but in here.
Never know when I'm unlucky and I don't want to waste more precious DP in its resurrection.
I start work on my dungeon, I begin creating paths throughout the dungeon and creating lower floors, and higher floors.
One for a place to rest and the other for a place to escape, I'll need to keep the other one as hidden as possible.
I can't make too many things, as it would cost too much DP, so I need a lot of effective and cost-efficient traps.
A lot of the lethal traps a cost-heavy but harassment traps are much cheaper, no matter where I look, the one difference in lethality makes a huge difference in cost, I'm both surprised and glad for this,
A huge future awaits me down this path.
huhuhu.
I begin constructing a variety of new non-lethal harassments like endless corridors, hehe, a helium room, extreme heat sauna room, extreme cold freezer room, it's easy to escape but these rooms are big and people need to pass them to proceed.
Gate's of wisdom, where you can assign any question, but needs to have an appropriate answer, and will act like tightly sealed doors which is possible to breathe mana through.
For the traps viscous liquid trap, viscous liquid projectiles, helium trapdoor room, a trick step trap, that alters the direction of anyone who steps onto it without even them knowing.
Next up, puzzle room's let's make them as frustrating as possible.
A lot of idea's pop up into my head, like tricky riddles, questions that only idiots can figure out.
I'm having a lot of fun just making these
Time continues to pass as I'm indulged in this process.

Into The Fray

This mission was supposed to be a standard one. Get behind enemy lines, kill the metal puppets, destroy the flying fortress, escape with body and life intact. I need that.” Said the old man, giving her a chance to go back out there and fight once more.
