《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 8 - Assasination & SubCore Monster

As the night progressed even the seventh seems to be about to keel over.
The main 6, however, are still underneath Oozer at the center of the room.
I give Oozer a plan of attack, as soon as you start falling down, harden your self with restructuring then crush them with your weight.
Almost as if giving instructions to a computer, Oozer understands me completely.
I have Oozer to move into the perfect spot where all 6 of them will be crushed.
Then...
NOW!!!
Oozer starts falling and follows my prior instructions perfectly.
Swat!
A small rumble hits the area, The 6 are dead and the 7th gets knocked wide awake.
He stares at my Oozer as if he couldn't understand what had just happened.
[Gained 156 DP]
[Gained 147 DP]
[Gained 197 DP]
[Gained 367 DP]
[Gained 91 DP]
[Gained 212 DP]
I got some DP but is it enough?
Speaking of which, how much do I have?
[Current Amount: 157,351 DP]
Oh? 23 days already passed?.
The 7th pinches himself and hurts himself, probably trying to confirm that this is not a dream.
He starts running away, oh wow, he's a fast runner, and he's already gone.
oh well, doesn't matter.
I have Oozer bring those corpses, as these may be useful for my new monster.
Now then.
I go to the monster selection, select sub core standard, species 'Slime'.
Intelligence and Sentience is dependant on me since its going to become a part of me, so it cannot be set.
Age doesn't have any significant effect on the slime species.
Now lifespan...cannot be set?
----
Oh ok, moving on then, Bloodline and BirthRight, 'Predator Slime'.
Reproduction.......I'll...leave this as blank.
Aw man, this already cost 102,570 DP, damn.
Now onto the important bits.
Evolution...what in the world is with these 0s!?

----
Why isn't bloodline and birthright affected then!?
----
Meaning, my core has a chance of evolving if I do this?
----
I see, if I evolve, just what kind of dungeon I can become after evolving.
huhuhu...
I let my imagination run rampant for a moment.
Alright moving on, Level ups... is the same as evolution isn't it?
----
Then I guess its the same for Growth and Potential?
----
NOOOOOO!, My Dream Monster!
I begin weeping for a few minutes.
After I calmed down, I went back and selected 'Copy Slime' in bloodline and birthRight.
I went into abilities and selected the ones for hiding: Stealth, Concealment, Presence Cloak, Blend, Disguise.
Then for powers, give me Psychokinesis and Detection.
Resistances, All-Rounded Resistance.
One last finishing touch, boost Innate Abilities to the MAX!
[Total Cost: 110,654 DP]
[Accept?]
ACCEPT!
[Remaining: 46,697 DP]
A new monster was born, and I could feel it, almost as if another me was Born.
I check the copy slime's stats
[Copy Slime] SubCore
-HP: Strong
-MP: Strong
-STR: Strong
-DEF: Strong
-MAG: Strong
-AGI: Strong
-Innate Abilities: Ultimate Copy, Change, Inventory
-Abilities: Stealth, Concealment, Presence Cloak, Blend, Disguise
-Powers: Psychokinesis, Detection
-Resistance: All-Rounded Resistance
Everything is here.
If I recall Copy Slime can only copy the form of what it has consumed, however, none of the abilities nor powers of what has consumed are ever transferred over, its actually a pretty useless monster.
For this monster though, if Innate Abilities are maxed out then it becomes perfect for sneaking around.
'Minor Copy' Became 'Ultimate Copy', 'Minimum Alteration' Became 'Change' and 'Box' Became 'Inventory'
When the innate abilities and abilities combine it becomes perfect for hiding.
Although psychokinesis has its downsides, if perfected can allow me to fly with this sub-core, which is perfect for travel.
Although detection is weaker than my omniscience within the Dungeon, its good enough to know the surroundings when wandering outside.
The only downside is this sub-core can never grow stronger ...haaaa..., Oh well.

The devil's got my number
Dalton was always a nice place. Always had been. When that new couple moved here, we were all ecstatic. They were wealthy, but not arrogant, always willing to help out their neighbors. All around the perfect kind of migrant. They brought a child with them. Jacob. He was beautiful, just like his parents. He had his mother's beautiful hair, and his father's beautiful eyes. But he was different. He wasn't social, or nice, like his parents. He mainly kept to himself. Until one day he didn't. Strange tales, of the boy running around the neighborhood at night started to pop up. Of sacrificing children and dark rituals. The average person dismissed it as just that, rumors. But those of us that had seen the boy, knew the truth. His eyes were no longer the deep, vibrant color of his father. They were the green of rot, his skin the color of a corpse. The devil had taken the boy, and, like a disease, he was spreading his curse.

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed!
