《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 4 - Dungeon Augmentation & Practice & History

Nothing particular happened this time since I didn't feel like looking through the treasures.
After all, with the weight of death looming over me, I'm feeling rather nauseous
----
----
I get it already, I can do whatever I want to my own dungeon and there are no limits.
I want to ask, is there a way to close off the Dungeon Core?
----
What about covering the core with something like the cloak of invisibility?
----
What about hiding the path leading to the core through some other means?
----
That's all I want to know for now. Is there any else I need to know Mr.Tutorial?
----
Alright, any advice?
----
Will I be able to ask you questions outside of the tutorial?
----
Cool, all that's left is to practice.
----
Ok, thanks.
After that, I continued to practice with these controls.
Its a shame that I cant try out the SubCore Monster.
I used my remaining time to look through the treasures and found quite a few things that I believe should be in a new section called Daily Goods.
Although I know most of these are due to my Inherent Memories, It is rather appalling seeing just what kind of stuff can exist?
I also try augmenting the dungeon in many different ways and try to find loopholes in hiding my dungeon core but most of it failed.
During quite a few of my failures, I experienced what it means to suffocate as a dungeon.
As a dungeon I breathe mana, if the dungeon is closed off then no mana can get to my dungeon core.
I tried finding a loophole like using something else as a source of mana but they could only sustain me for at least 1 second or 10 seconds at most.

I went into treasures to find any guidebooks to help me, and surprisingly there were a lot of helpful guidebooks
Too bad I can't take them with me outside the tutorial.
I can purchase them again but the cost would be massive.
In here everything is illusionary or from what I heard from Mr.Tutorial.
It's like Mr.Tutorial said this is like a sandbox dimension, but nothing here is truly real.
----
Dungeon Spirit?, is that what I am right now?
----
I have already confirmed what kind of existence I am at the moment.
And this practice is getting rather tiring.
Mr.Tutorial, can you tell me the history of great dungeons?
----
--
What are with those names?, they don't sound like dungeons at all but Boss Zones.
----
----
----
----
----
Forget boss zone, they are super boss zones!.
But they perished in the end Right?
----
How did they perish? From the name of the keeper, it should be difficult to defeat even the Keeper
----
...huh?
----
So as long as the dungeon core survives the birthed monsters will flourish but losing the dungeon core
results in all birthed monsters to continue weakening until death.
----
If that's the case then wouldn't dungeon spirits live as far away from the populace as possible? Even that sky fortress can move around right?
----
No Choice but to Attack before then huh.
----
Meaning I can't trust even other dungeon spirits huh.
Looks like I can only rely on myself.
Just want to ask but, have there been any friendship between Dungeon Spirits?
----
...
Being told that dungeon spirits are like this makes me wonder, why are Dungeon Spirits even born?
----
So Mr.Tutorial doesn't even know.
Just one last question. What happens to enslaved dungeon spirits?
----
Suicide?, That's possible?
----
Darn.

“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

Ashford Meyers used to be a general practitioner, living out his days in peace while he expanded on his hobbies. This all came crashing down when the world changed. Creatures from myths came out of the ether to wreak havoc on the world. He uses his smarts and additional powers from the system to create a place for the remnants of humanity to flock to. He starts training those who want to protect the weak in this new world until everything changes with the arrival of the outworlders. So, this fiction is something that I have been working on for a few weeks, and as such, I have about 75 pages already pending. On another note, chapters will be released every week on Monday and Friday, 8:00 am EST.

He wakes up an untold amount of time later, to find everything had changed. The world around him had become something else. Society had collapsed, the world was rebuilding, and a number of nanite-induced changes have taken place among all life on the planet.
