Looking at scar I already guessed that whatever I might say to convince her against this would turn invalid.I could expose a few things to her to make my argument a bit more solid,but the way I saw it was something that scar couldn't understand since we weren't equal in terms of understanding and senses my evidence would come off as theories instead,pulling off the bandages was also not a very good idea since I also noticed that the woman was indeed bleeding,but not as much that it would warrant her death it was a smart precaution of hers in case her bandages really did come off.

Scar was usually very smart and observative,but for some reason now her judged was clouded she didn't see the fakeness in this womans eyes and couldn't judge right from wrong for some reason...I was right when I assumed that this made her remember something from her past...maybe at one point she was the person who was laying on the ground just like her,but instead of faking it,it was real.

-Dawn...

Scar started.I also snapped out of my thoughts for a slight second raising my eyes at her,she had passive look on her face when facing me she obviously saw the opposition that I was showing against this idea,but she still stubbornly wanted to help this lying woman.

-Please...can we ? We can't just leave her here she'll die by the wander beasts so please can we bring her to her village it seems to be a pretty close place so I am sure it won't take so long we also have more then enough time to make a small detour

If she said those words in any normal circumstance,I would have without a doubt said yes because we indeed had a lot of time right now,but this situation wasn't normal at all.

I pulled scar over,dragging her arm for a slight moment,my sudden action surprised scar,but she didn't resist and followed me behind the lizard,the bandaged woman was still laying at her original spot glancing at us very puzzled and awaiting our return.

-She is lying this is a set up she wants to lure us in somewhere and then rob or kill us

I said directly,even if she doesn't believe me I have to at least try don't I ? And as I predicted scar looked very skeptic about my accusation,she didn't immediately growl at me which was rare and instead took it in a more calm way.

-And how do you know that if I may ask ?

I thought for a split second,I hadn't really found a good excuse or an explanation to convince her without looking like a smartass or a liar so I said the next simple thing that came into my head.

-I've seen enough of these people to know that they are lying for example the caravan,doesn't it strike you odd that the caravan is placed in such a convenient manner that it blocks our way ? And on top of that I can see that you aren't very sharp at the moment to see that truth you are too sympathetic towards this person in particular to see whats right it is clouding you decision making !

My words immediately stung where it hurt as scar flinched for a brief second,she took a moment to step back and glare at me once again after that she glanced at the bandaged woman her eyes showing once again that worried and sympathizing light in them.

-No your wrong I know I am right...

She spoke her stubbornness really had no end to it,I felt my hands gripping hard for a second my thoughts drifting towards my plasma sword.

-Then I show you myself

Just as I was about to move and threaten this woman scar immediately stepped in front of me,her eyes and demeanor had now changed incredibly as she looked at me with eyes of utter disgust and anger her hands were not too far off from pulling her flimsy daggers,I couldn't believe what I was seeing in front of me her anger also subsided me for a slight moment as I hesitated about my action...this was the angriest I saw scar since I met her,her anger was shown through clear silence instead of the usually shouting she did..

-This ends here...no I am not allowing you to harm her,I know what I am doing so I have decided...I am breaking the contract and take the woman back to her village,take the stormrunner and hold its reins tightly you won't need to control or lead it since the road is straight and directly leads to the capital you don't need to pay me either its over...and dawn...I have been mistaken of who you are

She said,her words were disappointed and void of any other feeling then that it almost seemed scary even,but that wasn't what I felt right now,what I really felt was the intense amount of frustration and confusion this woman was giving me...Of course I could always be wrong and have taken this whole deal in a misunderstood way there could have been always some kind of coincidence that explains everything in this case.

I looked to my right,scar had already walked off towards the woman she didn't carry much only the clothes on her back and the sachels on her waist in terms of money you could say that she was pretty rich since she had 12 gold coins in her pockets if she would have gone with me through all this I would have given her as much money as she wanted this wasn't even my original thought only something I had added after I considered her as a friend and right now...

I looked at scar one more time...her black leather armor wifting as she moved around in those tight leather pieces her dark red hair shifting left and right the look she had was determined and resolved with bravery and tough attitude if I didn't know she was a woman then I would said that she was warrior.

What did I think about her ?

I still think of her as a friend.

She have been a little bit too hurtful towards me,but I didn't take it personally books always described friendship as things that can't be broken by mere words so should I feel bothered by it ?

Scar stopped in her tracks she was still very moody and angry at me right now and showed those emotions with her quiet anger and cold eyes.

-What ?

-Carry her over here and place her on top of the lizard so we move faster,I don't want to waste any time..

My words seemed to have momentarily caused an explosion to happen inside scar's brain as she stood still staring at me almost gaping with surprise,her eyes and attitude also slowly started to change she was still a bit angry at me,but decided to not say anything and just do as I said bringing the suspicious woman onto our lizard.

I didn't help at all and just watched as scar carried the woman towards here.

The woman seemed very enchanted by my looks when she looked closer at me,though that enchantment only lasted for a few seconds until she reminded herself to act hurt again.

Seeing her like this almost made me a bit agitated,but I didn't voice my displeasure or glare at the woman with hostility instead I figured that this experience could teach scar one thing or two...maybe even make me understand how it looks like in her perspective,either way I wasn't worried,if this really had to happen then let it happen,I just make sure that It won't be us who will be hurt.

Scar didn't waste any moment and asked the woman where her village was located at she quickly complied and started giving us directions through the forest.

We moved pretty quickly through the forest,I kept my eyes sharp for anything around us moving above large overgrown tree roots and observing the lush and thick greenery of this forest sometimes a wild beast could be seen from a small distance away,but it would always run away the second it was seen by us.

The whole time I concentrated on our surroundings to see if there was anyone else present or approaching,but for some reason there was still nothing...because of this I started to maybe believe the words of the woman...maybe I was simply too paranoid or the woman was just not aware of the full event that had transpired,her heart rate may have nothing to do with her telling a lie or a truth either...I was slightly confused,but still I believed that the woman was lying.

Scar and the bandaged woman on the way simply talked with each other exchange pleasantries and stories about their lives and activities they did,scar seemed to look very comfortable with it while the bandaged woman still seemed sort of act weak and hurt.

I kept out of the conversation the entire time not wanting to associate myself with the bandaged woman at all and partially also because I felt awkward towards scar since she had said pretty hurtful things towards me that me sort of feel guilty that I was always this mistrusting either way the bandaged woman and scar both never considered to add me into their conversation in the first place and seemed to have been set on gossiping about me behind my back,the bandaged woman in particular seemed to be really interested about me and asked whether or not I came from a noble family since I had what she described as "Heaven Looks" she also asked whether or not me and scar were together which in turn caused scar to immediately turn red and look at me from behind with a scorning look on her face.

-No,we aren't together I just sort of work for him I am his guide really...

The eyes of the bandaged woman momentarily lighted up as she continued asking questions.

-I never heard of anyone hiring a guide and also this viscur seems to be a rare type of breed too...

The woman commented,scar didn't seem to have noticed the amount of greed that was in her tone nor the desire she showed through her eyes,normally people wouldn't notice such things and I was also sure that scar would have normally noticed,but this time it wasn't the case really.

Scar smiled,remembering the time we bought the lizard as she talked about that event pleasantly explaining the woman of how she handled a robbed in the middle of the purchase the information scar was giving this woman only served to make her smile even more as I felt a small sinister aura rising within her eyes...I felt incredibly tempted to just stop on my tracks draw my plasma sword and force the answers out of the womans mouth,but I held that temptation within myself assuring that this wasn't for my own convenience it was for scar to understand something.

After a few minutes of walking the bandaged woman finally told us to stop,we immediately stopped of course and the place we stopped at was in front of what seemed to be the entrance of a cave my senses had long since detected other life and humans on the way here they had already surrounded us and were 8 in size the cave itself had another 24 making it 33 people in total if we add the woman herself to this list.

I never called or told scar about this while we came here I still waited for the moment to reveal itself,but at the same time I started to get a little bit closer to scar to be ready to protect her in any case.

-Yes,this cavern it isn't really a cavern,but a entrance that leads to my village behind these mountains is my village right now can I ask you to wait here I quickly go inside and call the others I can't have you come with me since the people of my village are very timid and fearful of the people outside the mountains they would most probably think that you had captured me and hurt me too and then proceeded to attack you to take revenge this way it is a lot safer and I would really like to express my thanks to you if you don't mind ms.scar and mr.dawn

The woman said.I didn't really note her name when scar and she had their conversation and in all honesty I couldn't be bothered enough to really know her name so I didn't even want to ask anymore.

Her words this time seemed just too unusually gentle with her tone,scar seemed to appreciate that thoughtfulness and nodded her head agreeing to the woman and helping her get off the lizard,her injuries looked bad and scar more then once suggested if she should help her get to the cavern,but the woman was quick to decline and said that she needed to go alone...scar had no choice,but to accept and watched as the woman walked towards the cavern finally getting inside as her figure disappeared inside the shadow of the cavern.
