================Steward's P.O.V==================

I sat in my officer looking through the different files that were labeled "Experimental" the research department today had put out the results of the newly made spells they had also discovered another law of magic in the mids of creating a spell which they called "Fastening" the theory to this law was currently in my hands it was a very interesting read and something rare not anyone could get.

Such discoveries were very precious which could shape the magic community to another different direction since today only 19 different laws of magic existed with this there would 20 and another path to explore...

(Ring Ring Ring)

My phone suddenly rang I felt puzzled by the sudden call recalling that no one should be calling me right now...I placed the file back on the table and looked at my phone to see who it was...aiden ?

It had been half a day since that incident happened on their party I was almost killed that day,but that weird flute playing fey luckily dawn saved me getting the situation back under control even now my mind would always go back towards the connection between aiden and dawn both of which don't even seem to recognize each other,it was also not my case to get involved or tell anyone the madam had already taken away the order to investigate dawn making me refrain from telling her what I dug up.

Why was he calling me ?

I wondered I didn't seem to have any arrangements with him in particular so why would he need to tell me something in person ?

-Hello ?

I answered the phone.

-Ah yes...steward how are you ?

-...

A small silence enveloped both of us over the phone as I tried to process what he wanted from me.

-Get to the point aiden you know very well that I don't like talking around the bush..

-ahahah

Aiden replied with a laughter I leaned onto my chair again fixing my glove for a moment feeling a small loose end to it aiden coughed on the other end of the phone as he started speaking.

-Right...anyways steward you remember the favor you owe me right?

-I am going to be upfront too if it has anything to do with the family then I can't do anything...

-Oh yes,I am clear of that I actually wanted to ask you something concerning you more precisely the temporary apprentice you took in under your wing...

My mind started to race again as I asked unsure about myself.

-Dawn ?

-yes,him...I had asked a few people and discovered that he actually isn't officially a man that belongs to your family it seems like you did a deal with him official said he works under you for a set amount of time...so my favor is can you let me borrow that lad...

-...

Another round of silence enveloped us as I calmly considered what he just said...it was true that dawn was never a personal that worked with the family he is a hired hand legally working under me and following my orders on work hours,but at the same time he is also a free individual and personally speaking I was expecting him to join the family at some point I already told markus about the lads potential and his mysterious powers he seemed very tempted,by such extraordinary asset and wanted me to rope him into the family no matter what I originally planned on having him build a small relationship with cecilia to make him stay on his own instead of convincing him,but now that aiden had also seen the lads potential it may turn into a competition of who can pull the lads attention...

From the way aiden is speaking I could discern that he isn't in the slightest bit aware that Dawn is actually his son,if I let dawn get borrowed by him there might be a possibility that both of them would somehow figure it out on their own since dawns identity for now is forged by me aiden must have already seen through it and also not be able to see the lads identity since the only thing I could ever dig up is his connection between aiden himself and nothing else.

-What is it ? You can't do it after all can you ?

Aiden said almost mocking me and my honor it felt as if he was piercing me with it not something I would ordinarily tolerate,but aiden was also a friend from the past he knew my character and I really did him owe him life after all...

-Its not that I can't do it its that I can't decided for person himself after all he is a freeman he may as well as rip the contract apart whenever he wants to he is not my belonging after all...

-ahh...yes thats true alright then let me rephrase it instead...can you convince dawn to work for us temporarily...

-How long

-At least half a year...

I took in a deep breath he was a stubborn man that I knew he would try with everything that was possible thats why he rephrased the "Order" into "Convince" they may have different meanings,but the result would be same with different means...I sighed.

-Alright I try,but remember its his decision not mine...

-yes,I understand of course thank you steward I knew that I could rely on you...

Aiden said with a pleasant tone of his hanging up the phone leaving me inside the quiet room with my own thoughts.

-The madam won't like this to the least....

================Dawn's P.O.V=================

-Not,gonna lie at first I thought that it was you who wanted to go to a school...

Worgen said glancing the 3 three little girls bellow me,I simply smiled at him just nodding my head.

-brother are we close yet ?!

Amy asked cheerfully from my other side hugging onto my arm while we walked,sarah also looked at me,curious about the question and behind me was stella too who was embracing my waist from behind....I was very much surrounded while hestia,angela and christina were walking behind us.

-I am not sure really you should ask our tour leader for that...

I said patting her head amy understood my words and turned her cute face towards worgen.

-Mister tour leader are we close yet ?

Amy was very adorable she was a bit shy since the person who she was talked with was a complete stranger worgen also suddenly got a bit red on his cheeks and quickly answered.

-yeah...we are close we just need to turn around that corner and we will directly see fenley elementary school...

His shy attitude had me honestly caught of guard,but I smiled nonetheless knowing very well that it is hard to keep from smiling in front of someone like amy,worgen saw my smile and simply looked at me a bit bitter.

-What ? what are you smiling at?

I laughed.

-Nothing...

I said making worgen even more embarrassed then before he also decided to look away hiding his red face,christina and angela giggled from the side seeing this exchange hestia also couldn't help,but smiling.

The reason we were outside with the girls lead by worgen was because I asked worgen to act as a tour guide to a proper school in this city for the two girls to attend,angela also needed to enroll to a proper school the one worgen recommended was the Fenley Highschool which had both elementary,middle and up to highschool level of education in 3 separate buildings,I wanted to see if it was any good or not before we would meet the principle of course.

Like this we turned around the corner and sure enough the school building was in sight,the walk from our house towards here was 10 or 15 minutes so it was relatively close by the school in itself was also very impressive having 3 different buildings each designed for their own educational grade it almost looked like a private school to me,I even asked worgen about the matter and he said that the school was quiet ancient it had undergone more then a few remodels and repairs so its no wonder it looks so extravagant the staff and students are also numerous and security around this place was tight enough for a few guardians to stand at place and watch if anything would happen.

Currently there weren't really many students present because it was the weekend there were some students who were participating in club activities such as sports and music classes,but other then that it was pretty empty.

-The principle should be still in his office though,but before that you said that you wanted to check the area right ?

Worgen asked I was slightly dazed looking at the school area and almost didn't hear what he said.

-ehh..yes,but I think that we already decided...

I said looking at the girls that were staring at the school with sparkling eyes angela was also very excited about the prospect of going to school,she probably doesn't need to really,but getting some social experience was good for her.

Either way we checked out the school just to have a look around the place the inside was pretty as it was outside the hallways were vast and clean with numerous lockers on the walls.

Hestia seemed to be quite curious about this building christina didn't seem to be really astound or anything since this was normal for her while the other girls simply sparkled with this display in front of them...

-Whats that room !

Sarah asked walking towards a classroom no,wait there were multiple glass containers inside and cookers too...was this maybe ?

-Oh its the chemistry room Ms.Warden is responsible for this one her lectures are a bit boring,but because we often get to do things personally it is also a bit exciting

Worgen explained to sarah,stella hearing the explanation quickly came to my side and shook my hand looking at me smiling.

I smiled back and patted her head I put my eyes back towards the chemistry room in particular the room had a lot of equipment the periodic table of elements and other few materials stowed away in a cabinet the little chemist inside of me shook for a moment with curiosity and longing,but I held it back and instead turned towards worgen...

-Young master ?

Hestia called faintly she saw the sad look in my eyes probably and got worried it was good that no,one really heard her not even worgen seemed to have heard what she said showing that she was indeed careful.

I simply shook my head towards her showing her that it was okay...school wasn't for people like me since it wouldn't benefit me to the least what I needed to do is simply work and earn my share.

Hestia stopped and simply sighed to herself nodding her head and going back to her original posture.

-Worgen how about we find that principle ? I think we had seen enough

Worgen had seen my and hestia's exchange even though he didn't hear it he did see it making him slightly confused,but he didn't care anymore and just nodded his head.

-Yeah follow me its upstairs on the third floor...

Just as we were about to go after worgen my phone suddenly rang...I looked at the caller...it was steward.

-Sorry you can go ahead of me I need to take this...

Worgen didn't mind and christina knew what she had to do nodding towards me with a determined look on her face making them go ahead us,stella decided to follow them for a bit and hestia didn't leave me and just stood beside me.

-I thought that you were free today ?

Hestia commented eyeing the phone that I was holding in my hand,I didn't say anything and just answered the phone.

-Hello ?

-Dawn ?

Steward asked his sudden call was a surprise,but I didn't mind and just answered.

-yes,is anything the matter ?

Steward on the other end of the phone clearly seemed to hesitate for a moment until he finally spoke again.

-The senjin family just called they seem to be loose on personal and asked the greenwood house for some small support because I am the one who manages such things as personal in the house I wanted to ask you if you could go to the senjin house temporarily and work for them for a bit...

I was a bit lost for words for a few moments hestia also raised her eyebrows towards what steward said clearly as suspicious as I was...

-Do I have to ?

Steward got silent again.

-No,not really its for you to decide I can always call on someone else its just that out of all people i judged you to be the most suitable one on top of that you don't have to worry about the pay it will be raised two folds if you accept the offer...

Twofolds ? Stewards offer was quiet tempting,but at the same time I couldn't,but feel as if he was doing this for something else meaning that the senjin house had something to do with this...why would they do that...and why was steward helping them ? He wouldn't be a traitor or something like that I was sure of it since he worked the most in this family his loyalty wasn't something that can be bought....yes,precisely because of that which makes me wonder.

I was also not even sure what to say,but in the back of my head I could imagine a furious cecilia for some reason being angry at me or steward for doing something like this I also glanced at hestia to see her response to this,seeing my stare she simply shrugged her shoulders on top of that it made me remember the last encounter we had with lady quinn these two wouldn't get along,but hestia was going to be tame...at least in my presence of course.

-Are my arrangements going to change through this ?

-No,you have the exact same freedom and rules that were set with the original agreement we had,you aren't changing sides you are simply working temporarily for another family the original contract still holds true the time limit also won't change nor will you do extra work...

-How about cecilia who will guard her in my absence ?

-I will do it personally you won't have to worry originally guarding her was my job seeing that you will only be away for 6 months it won't be long.

I sighed...steward was making it hard for me to decide really,I owed him a lot and he probably even knows that.

-What does cecilia think about this ?

-She doesn't have a saying in this since you aren't a official guard of our family and just a hired hand she can't order you to stay that responsibility goes to me the person who had hired you of course...

I shut my eyes for a moment...It wasn't that the money was tempting no,it was just that steward seemed to be relying on me for something maybe if I do this both of us would be on the straight again I could also a lot more by doing this job there was simply no harm to it should I say ?

-Alright I accept the job...when do I begin..

Steward got quiet again it seemed like he was thinking on the other end of the phone.

-Tomorrow at 7:00 AM meet me at the academy in the transporation hall...

-Roger that...

I was about to hang up.

-And dawn...

I was a bit surprised hearing his voice again.

-Yes sir ?

-Thank you

With those words steward hung up the phone.
