Both me and steward made a silent agreement to ignore what just happened in front of us,steward even got forward and handcuffed the woman and took her with us so she couldn't escape.I also proceeded and gave him the letter that I found inside her coat.I didn't tell him where I got it from and he didn't ask and just nodded his head putting the letter into his breast pocket as we made our way up towards the mansion walking the bloody stairs.

Half of the guards seemed to be still alive and when they woke up finally they saw the gruesome scene that was surrounding them a lot of them cried and shouted very frightened...I put a deaf ear to all of this and took stewards advice to heart...I really should be a bit more discreet about this...

The woman who was coming with us constantly glanced at me with a clear amount of fear showing in her look she wasn't angry at me she didn't even have any of those thoughts to go against me and steward her will to fight had been crushed utterly in a matter of seconds.

While going up the stairs my shoes felt very uncomfortable I was already getting used to wearing thick boots the workers uniform that was it would have hindered these small drops of blood getting into my shoes...disgusting.

The mansion on the upside was already very quiet no explosions or any other strong sound was emitted from this place from this I could assume that leraje and hestia were already finished with their job.

Steward said not even once looking towards me,but solely focusing on the sticky road up ahead...His words made me smile for a bit.

The stench of blood was still strong even here with a few more corpses that I had cut down.

Hestia replied with a clear sound of anger rising in her voice because steward talking for me,steward was a bit taken a back for a moment,but he understood and nodded towards me leaving both me and hestia at the entrance not even slightly offended by hestia...

I said with a small laugh following my words,hestia just snorted and pulled me towards her with a quick move she pressed me onto her ample breasts and smelled me stroking my back at the same time...

What she was doing right was very dangerous people could look towards here and make all kinds of assumptions,but knowing hestia she wouldn't do something like this without being sure of herself,thats why I just let it hanging like this.

Hestia said hugging me tighter and also moaning slightly.Hestia and I only stayed like this for a few more seconds in the end we quickly parted and looked down inside the mansion.

The guests without a word were panicked scared and in total uproar the aidan family and another few personal was clearly trying to uphold order and were slowly getting to it steward also brought the female to the guards to keep guard after this he searched for the madam who wasn't all too far away from leraje who was also guarding her.

While observing this I asked hestia about her whereabouts when I started dancing with quinn,hestia simply replied with that she had felt something inside the bathroom and was suspicious about it so she left to check,ending up fighting the person that was inside the bathroom resulting in killing them...she couldn't use her fire because of the small space and the sound it would create thats why she simply used her brute strength to strangulate the foe of hers..

Imagining her ruthlessly strangling someone gave me a slight shiver,but I wasn't anyone to judge I've done things worse then that after all,but at the same time while she told me all of this I could tell she was hiding something from me...her way of talking was normal,but for some reason I could tell that she was disclosing something from me,it was hitting me from the back of my head.I had the impulse to ask,but refrained from doing so...even though she is my lover I have no right to ask every single thing about her if doesn't want to say it herself,I could also tell that it didn't even concern this current matter so asking wouldn't have a single point to it.

I sighed...it was sometimes hard to find a good moment to just talk hestia would always force herself into something and personally I never minded her being this way I liked her the way she was.

At this point time went on like a hurricane I kept thinking to myself through all of this and just observed the situation soon enough dozens of people were coming out of the magic circles mainly soldiers and other escorts the aiden family had also brought everything under control and made sure to escort each guest out of his house,the corpses outside were also started to being cleaned up just before the guests left so they wouldn't see what had happened outside.

-Dawn ! where did you go I thought you said that I shouldn't leave your side !

Cecilia complied really angry at that too hestia just shook her head seeing cecilia like this and didn't comment on it steward on the other hand just slightly consoled cecilia telling her that I did the right thing which made cecilia slightly less irritated.

While we stood talking like this out of nowhere senator henrickson appeared...behind him stood his son like always,meeting him was unexpected really.

-Senator...

I started,but her raised his palm to tell me to stop.

-No,don't call me that just call me by my name today young man you have saved my life today for this I am incredibly thankful towards you and if you want I will do anything to repay you this debt so calling me by my name isn't unrespectful to the least...

I smiled and nodded my head again.

Aiden voice wasn't really unkind he wasn't trying to sound accusing,but the people around us started to stop and look at me with their accusing eyes,in which I simply explained myself.

The explanation was a bit too unbelievable and a few people started to say that I was lying and that I must have been the one who put the poison inside the drink which was nonsense.

Hestia and leraje were obvious displeased by the accusations that were thrown against me cecilia was also furious without a doubt,but didn't do anything since she didn't have the slightest bit of proof to support that I didn't do it other then knowing that I stood with her the whole time which didn't amount to much since magic could be also in play here.

Steward was about to step forward and give his own testimony until aiden shouted out himself.

Aidens slightly angry demeanor and shouting was enough to make everyone quiet its not like anyone has the guts to speak against such a person who was the head of one of the major families henrickson also nodded his towards me showing me that he believed in what I said without a second word which I was thankful for.

After this no one spoke up anymore cecilia sighed with a small relieve and quinn who standing next to aiden started to show me a complete different look a very curious and interested one.Mr,henrickson also proceeded and thanked both hestia and leraje for protecting everyone giving both of them a handshake,but while he was doing that I could see a very eager look in his eyes.

A lot of people were surprised hearing this most of the men were looking towards hestia and her peerless beauty since the beginning of the party some of them maybe wanted to hit up a conversation with her,but couldn't come up to talk with her because of the scary air she produced around her and because the table she stood near was occupied by a lot of family members that belonged to the major families giving her a unreachable shield that no,one would dare knock against if they don't wanted to bashed away.

Leraje also seemed to be a huge heart throb in this party for a lot of female members,but in the end most of them also couldn't come close,because of the same reason as before lady elyssa was one of the braver once and was also a friend of leraje.

Both of these individuals showed a lot in this party their strength and calm through the way they domineered in the battle without a mistake,so it wasn't surprising that the senator or anyone else wouldn't be interested for such strength and prestige,both of these held,On top of that no one knew that leraje was a archfiend demon just yet...leraje always hid his own essence in the peoples eyes leraje only looked like a normal human being a bit extraordinary,but nothing else.Hestia also only showed that she could wield flames and that could be explained in many kind of ways since this was a magical community no,one would immediately think that hestia was a phoenix.

I thought and as I was thinking about this I couldn't help,but giggle for a bit knowing very well what their answers to this is.

Both of them replied without a second thought with their answers a very sudden quietness enveloped the whole room a lot of people had wide eyes looking at leraje and hestia even the mr.henrickson was lost for words,but he quickly caught himself and asked again.

Leraje shook his head blankly hestia just snorted uninterested.Mr.henricksons face obviously showed a expression of confusion and loss he wanted to say something else to try and win them over once again,but then steward stepped in and explained.

The senator looked a bit displeased for a moment and asked.

Aiden smiled a small laughter came out of his mouth as he answered the senator.

Once again a round of silence enveloped the whole room mr.henrickson was now at total loss on what to think he glanced at me for a moment wanting to know if what aiden said was the truth in which I nodded my head both hestia and leraje also took the moment to stand up behind me showing their clear affiliation to the person they worked for.

In the end mr.henrickson couldn't say anything he felt regret that was for sure and trying to rope them in wasn't going to happen since they worked for the person who just saved his life who also worked for the greenwood house,thats why he didn't say anything and just left the scene.

The people around us were also starting to get off their position and leave the area behind they looked at me with a slight dumbstruck look on their face before they left.

-You're really lucky...senator henrickson is now indebted to you...

I stared at her not sure what she was talking about really...she understood why I was showing her that look and face palmed for a moment remembering that I was pretty much ignorant to politics in this world.

-Senator henrickson holds a very strong reputation in the magical senate a lot of people dote on him and his power is only slightly less then the other 3 major families having his support or him being indebted to you is a huge deal if you use that debt in a right way it can potentially help the family a lot maybe even overthrow the other families !

Cecilia said very excited all of a sudden she wanted to continue,but was stopped by stewards sudden grab on the shoulder.

Hearing these words cecilia looked slightly distracted for a moment it was followed by a extreme amount of embarrassment on her part when she realized what she was trying to tell...in the end she apologized to me and told me to forget it I also nodded towards steward with a thanks.

It was time...the night was long as I predicted it to be and when we were about to leave aiden and his family decided to escort us out of the mansion.

-Your house had really caught a very extraordinary fish...I had seen the report a few minutes ago there were no enemies alive most of them seemed to have been beheaded and the time of death is also very strange...they all died at the exact same time...

Aiden said his words were poking at anyone specific,but they still held a meaning to it knowing who may have done such a thing...the aiden family was surprised...they didn't seemed to have heard what happened quinn was also starting even more restless then before looking at me with a very hungry look...

Steward and cecilia didn't react to the sentence all too much hestia and leraje didn't even look like they were listening and made a look as if they wanted to say that this was nothing.

-Hmm...yes quiet my memory of the event is pretty fuzzy so I don't know all too much of what had happened,so I can't say all too much I only know that dawn had come to my side supporting me..

The way steward said it was a bit blank it also made aiden look at me a bit more he held a smile on his face,but there was also a hidden agenda to this smile...it was desire...

Both me and cecilia agreed with a yes finally stepping out into the open about leave this place.

Cecilia nodded her head without a comment aiden also turned his body and looked at me giving me his hand to shake which I took of course.

I said bowing my head down and about to leave,but just as I was about to do that lady joanna...aidens wife came forward stopping me.

It was a surprise,but I accepted nonetheless and shook her hand...the blue gem on her ring was once again shining faintly for some unknown reason lady joanna looked at it for a few moments once again a very conflicted look resurfaced on her face as she asked me absentminded.

The question was confusing,but I had no reason not to answer.

-I am 15 next january I will be 16...

The woman looked a bit distracted mumbling to herself while looking at me with a thoughtful look on her face.

Her words were confusing I didn't understand what she was talking about,but I didn't really care a lot and just told her my goodbye.

With those words I started to go down the stairs towards home with everyone else.
