I was not scared of him or anything the shiver from the start already disappeared my heart rate also calmed down and over all this opponent really embodied one of my biggest weaknesses.

As i thought so i could feel another wind spell was thrown into the field making the flying dust curtain fly away i was still on the ground my head was hurting and pounding a lot.If this would have been a real fight i would have probably broken my arm,hand and fingers because i was punching him repeatedly but because of this very strange barrier any physical damage converts into mental exhaustion...haha

Verdath was still continuing to walk towards me the scales on his body retracted showing his human form only his hands were still dragon claws his gaze held amusement while looking at me i sighed and stood up.

-So are you finished yet ?

He asked indifferent to my answer i knew.

-Maybe maybe not we'l see

He was good at hiding it but i could see some signs of strains on his head veins were popping up he is probably experiencing the most intense headache off all time if i had to say it he was close to being as disordered as me but something told me his dragon blood was keeping him up and not down...man isn't there a rule for racial skills this started to look really unfair to me.

And like that in a instant he moved at me with shocking speed i wasn't able to see through it so i tried to slow time but...

This time it didn't work.

And just like that i was hit to the chest with a force of a real dragon...a mini explosion happened where i got hit and i was knocked back tumbling in the ground and i finally stopped hitting the barrier itself.

What....what...just happened why didn't it work ?My mind was blacking out in and out in and out only my own sheer willpower was letting me stay conscious anymore thoughts and i was sure i would breakdown...there was no real physical pain magic was sure convenient at times like this but not for me in particular the mental fatigue was just getting even more stacked.

I was at the edge of the barrier which blocked me from going any farther the students were looking at me some pointing at me and starting to say something some were even outright ridiculing me some started cheering for me telling me to stand up.

I looked towards my opponent he was still walking towards me casual as if all time in the world was still in his hands...no wait claws.

I wanted to stand up and tried to move forward a bit and while i did that i felt some kind of small stones moving about in my jacket maybe some small rubble got into my clothes while i was tumbling through the field i tried to pat the stones down from my jacket but noticed something.

Those weren't stones....these were the destroyed parts of the once black handle sera gave me as a token but now it was broken into tiny pieces...i almost lost it here i thought but realized i can fix it just like i did to the brooms and just like i did to her picture frame i have that kind of ability i can fix anything i want...

I looked at the little pieces i just need to concentrate i don't know why i am doing this in such a situation i was sure it wouldn't be able to help me anyways i didn't know if i was just being desperate or going on auto pilot but i did it anyways and just as i did it my mind started to blank out but i knew i wasn't losing my conscious no something more amazing was happening the destroyed little parts of the handle were starting to grow back into its original form its just that i couldn't see it golden light was streaming from my eyes showing me some kind of scene....

A little girl with black long hair and opaque round glasses was standing next to a short man with a long beard he wore a round cap and in his hand he was holding a jet black handle with intricate designs and strange sigils on it both of them were sitting in front of a giant workbench where many kinds of tools were laid out with other kinds of blueprints that showed really complicated schematics he was smiling and laughing while holding the jet black handle in his hand and boastfully said to the little girl.

-sera this is my greatest invention yet these old man in the mines told me it was impossible ! but they were wrong my little girl you hear me they were wrong i did it !

He seemed really happy his over all excitement made the little girl also really happy and excited even thought you couldn't see her eyes she was smiling and said.

-what does it do what does it do !

She jumped up and down from her seat while asking the short long bearded man about the handle he was holding.

At that he made a sly smile and said.

-Sorry little girl this is this old mans secret i can't tell you if don't exchange

He laughed a bit.The girl wasn't satisfied with his answer and huffed jumping down from her seat she stated in a annoyed tone.

-humph ! i don't wanna know then i hate you daddy you meanie !

The expression of the short man changed abruptly to her statement and he tried console her and finally said.

-Now now sera i am sorry but you understand the dwarven ways right ? how about this i can at least tell its name not what it is but the name come on it won't be disappointing

The little girl glanced at her short father and smiled and said.

As he was about to finish his sentence his voice sounded far very weak and far away becoming as to unclear for me to understand bright golden light once again started to appear in front of me the scene that was in front of me started to disappear like smoke....

The surrounding sound was was getting back to normal and colors started to appear again i realized i was hiding my eyes using my palms but another thing that amazed me was the item i was holding on my right hand.

It worked i fixed it ! the item i was holding was a jet black handle with many kinds of engravings and strange characters written on it,it was smooth to the touch and the craftsmen ship that was put into this handle was superb the weight was 1.2Kg and the length of the handle was 35 cms long the width was 3.5 cms long the end of the handle had a shallow hole in it...

I looked at the handle wait no....this wasn't a handle it is a hilt.

I looked up verdath was already here standing in front of me when i looked at him he was a surprised for some reason but quickly calmed down i didn't notice him coming near me i must have gone for some minutes if he took his sweet time to walk here.

What did he mean ? what was with my eyes ? was this the reason he was surprised ?

I touched my eye lids for a second and tried to feel if anything was out of ordinary...nothing wait...i looked at my hand some kind of golden light was shining onto it,it was faint and it wasn't from the sun....it was coming from my eyes.

As i thought about that i also noticed that my head was okey it wasn't pounding anymore...

Me being amazed by the turn of events didn't change verdath from trying to kick my head to the side but at the same time i knew he was going to kick me 3 seconds ago and as he did so i jumped to my left at perfect timing how i knew he was going to kick me ? Something like a image popped up in my head showing me the exact time of the execution.

When verdath noticed that he didn't hit me he turned to me a bit confused and said.

-how did you know i was going to kick you ? how did you even dodge ?

I was as evenly confused how i knew that he was going to kick me and dodged the attack but as i wanted to answer another thing popped up in my head in 2 seconds a left hook was coming to my body i jumped back but then still another picture popped up in 1 second a leg was gonna hit me to the knee i raised my left leg at that and so on it continued picture were showing up in my head on what was going to happen.

Verdath after 8th missed hit jumped back his face held confusion and astonishment he was staring at me as if i was not even human which he didn't even have a right to be able to stare at me like that even thought he isn't human himself !

-aren't you going to attack the time is about to run out and i will most likely win.

I was still holding the the black hilt in my hands some kind of memories streamed in my hand showing me everything about this hilt what it could do an what it was but what interested me most was the name it had.

-Whats that ? i didn't see you having it on you when we started fighting ?

verdath was pointing at the black hilt.

I smiled and said.

-how about this since we both don't have any time how about we decided this with one hit ?

He growled a bit when i disregarded his question but nodded anyways getting ready i looked at the black hilt one more time and thought about the scene i saw...

I shook the hilt for a bit the characters started to shine up to the end of the hilt where the shallow hole was it was collecting there verdath looked at it very wary for some reason i laughed at him and said

-this is a present i got from a friend

The light that was collecting in the shallow hole shot out and made a long straight beam the length was 110 cms long the light beam was a golden color and looked really bizarre there was no heat or cold radiating from the beam it wasn't wavering nor bending anywhere while i was shaking it around there was also no sound coming from it.

Everyone was staring at the bizarre item i was holding in my hand if i had to describe it then i would say it was a sword but i knew it just much more then that.

I looked at the amazed verdath who was staring into the bright beam the sharpness of this weapon was no joke it could also turn you into smoking jerky if you didn't pay attention to it.

-its called the black dragon emperor hilt how do you like it ?

When he heard the name he looked a bit more distracted then i ever saw him being distracted.

-humu quite a coincidence but i don't wanna stand here all day talking to you this will end here.

And as he said he started charging at me with full i couldn't catch him with my eyes nor was i sure if i could dodge him even if i saw his attack coming so i did what i always did.

I stopped time.

The world around me got quiet in that moment nothing was moving nor making a sound the emperor hilt that was in my hand was still keeping its golden light and in front me stood verdath this time all of his red scales were out protecting every inch of his body he looked like a real monster with no skin and only red scales he probably sensed the danger from this tool but he probably didn't figure out that i was able to stop time he was truly unlucky and i can also be considered rude by doing something so underhanded as to attack someone while time was stopped but...

I made a mocking smile.

Who said i wasn't allowed to attack someone while time was stopped ? I took a step forward and swung the black hilt the beam followed my movements the beams were going through verdath as if he wasn't even there it didn't show any injuries probably because of the barrier being still intact i believed.When i finished i started walking towards his original position when he tried to jump me and started time again.

He didn't move and just stood there after another 2 seconds he knelt down on his legs the red scales also retreated his face was pale not one drop of blood could be seen but he wasn't injured he turned his head to me he was sweating really hard struggling to keep himself conscious i already shut off the black hilt.

-can you tell me at least how you did this i was sure no i know that i was much faster then you...

I looked at him this was really a long battle he must have been the most hardest opponent i ever had because of his racial endurance even 80 mages and 1 grand mage couldn't do anything to me nor could vampires or demons do anything to stop me.

-lets just say time on my side in this one

He didn't say anything and just collapsed on the ground everyone was quiet not one sound escaped even the judge who was holding the white flag was flabbergast they all watched the fight happen in front of their eyes seeing incredible feats of superhuman fighting there didn't seem to be any words they were able to pull and also it seems like my energy is running out too..

One of the teachers snapped out of it and nudged the guy who was holding the white flag who also snapped out he stuttered a bit at the start and announced.

After a bit of awkward silence people started to clap one by one ending up with everyone starting to cheer and whistle next to me other teachers started to quickly appear coming with them were other medics i was still holding the black hilt in my hands and decided to transport it to the clavicula as i said i was able to store items into the clavicula even if i didn't have it on hand as long as i was in possession of it...with a little thought the hilt disappeared in a particle effect.

-DAWN !

Cecilia shouted while running to me my energy was already leaving at this point my mind was also going blank the teachers were carrying me and the last thing i remember was the crying face of cecilia holding onto me....
