Leraje started chanting something under his breath and when he finished his body started to turn into black smoke creeping up on me.The smoke made a circular motion in the air and finally enveloped my middle finger becoming a black ominous ring.It was shiny at least.

I said.I slowed time and started running again.

After about 30 minutes or so i finally arrived at my house...well i don't know what to call it really its half a shop half home kind of building i still don't know what to do with the lower half of the building anyways.

As i thought that i started walking into the alleyway where the backdoor was located.While i walked over here i noticed that at night this city had some shady individuals walking around some of the other alleyways had 4 or 6 people just standing there waiting for a unfortunate soul to cross their path only this alleyway seemed to be empty.

I stood in front of the door and gazed from left to right it was amazing how magic worked i couldn't sense anything in the building it was as if it was isolated from the world.

I didn't have a key to open the door well i don't need one.

The lock opened on its own when i touched the handle i entered the house and when i did i felt really secure having a home to come to feels really good.

I stopped on my tracks and looked to my right side into the corridor this familiar voice is something i would always remember.

Behind steward stella was standing she quickly started running towards me and hugged my waist i was also smiling patting her head she was truly a individual in my life that could calm me down in a split second.

He asked prompting me a bit his voice wasn't angry nor agitated but he seemed to be on the cautions side demons truly don't have a good reputation i take it.

I called into the ring the started producing black smoke again and to my left side it shaped into a humanoid figure and finally turned into a handsome adult-youth face with blonde hair and green eyes.

Leraje was upright hands behind his back with his usual straight posture not looking at anything in particular.

Stella exclaimed in awe i wasn't really surprised when i saw leraje doing that the very first time it more like familiarity then a surprise to me.

Leraje looked at steward his gaze was indifferent he didn't refute nor did he accept him either nice first impression leraje !

Steward stepped forward giving his hand towards leraje.Stewards gaze was also indifferent.leraje took his hand neither smiling nor sneering both of these men when it comes to a relationship didn't seem to think of anything against each other their handshake was also smooth without any awkwardness i couldn't help but make a wryly smile.

Stella asked confused while pushing me a bit.

I almost reflexively wanted to comment on that....it took a lot not to laugh at this demon.

steward clapped bringing us all back to earth.

-Now that we all know each other i need to talk with dawn in private ?

I nodded to steward and told stella to explore the building with leraje i gave leraje a little signal to tell him to watch after stella he affirmed it.

Steward and i walked into the front of the first floor where the shop section was there were some tables and seats.

I sat down and so did steward when we did he snapped his fingers i could feel his magic materializing and so in front of me a cup of coffee was conjured out of thin air.

I looked at it taking it by the handle and took a sip.

-yes quite you also got a really neat and hard to get subordinate in your hands he also seems quite loyal then any other demon i met and as i said previously as long as it doesn't have to do with the greenwood house or anyone i know you can keep your own secrets.

I didn't quite get why he would need me by i obligated.And so i talked about how i and leraje knew about vladimir i talked about what i listened to in their conversation how the demons arrived how leraje deal'ed with them and how illeana at the end tried to blackmail me into making cecilia and her granddaughter acquaintance while i was talking steward was sipping his coffee and make nods here and there i wasn't really touching my coffee since i made my first sip and at the end of the report steward finished his coffee.I left out some of the details how i got into the closet or how i met leraje and so on.

I let out my breath and took the mild warm coffee drinking it in one gulp.

We continued talking for a bit longer steward mentioned cecilia and a tournament from happening in a couple weeks he also talked about my schedule regarding holidays.We finished talking after and hour.

-what are the rules in the school regarding fey ? or demons in general ?

-Fey are pretty much used as animals or pets over there small beasts and other creatures and demons are actually almost shunned by all communities because of their past bad intentions of always making havoc or striking deals with people that are especially....what should i say nasty ? but over all demons there aren't really rules for demons.

-and about fey ? you said they are used as pets or animals what about humanoid or higher intelligent fey ?

He thought for a bit.

-is the set fey a animal in nature ?

I thought about it.

-does it have animal habits.

I thought about seras room and all of those schematics.

He smiled.

-so it can morph into a human but not completely ?

-there is a rule that states slavery is not allowed but if its an animal you can have it as a pet if your friend is a being that can morph from animal to human the solution is for it is just to stay human isn't that easy ? even if it has some kind of uniqueness differing from other humans its still humanoid.

I was relived at some sense i also noticed steward was using the word "your friend" he knew at some sense but i wasn't really worried.

I quickly stopped myself.

He smiled.

Well i completely forgot about him.

And so steward left with a poof i also started going up to the second floor to see stella sitting in the living room and showing leraje all of the magic books she had and wait they were.

Stella noticed in me and came running to me leraje also seemed a bit amused and we talked about stellas day and how it went.

-brother what did you and lera do today ?

I asked with a bit of amusement in my tone.

-she doesn't seem to be able to pronounce it.

He shrugged.

I turned to stella and said.

-honestly it was a long boring day continue with your story what did you and cecilia do when i didn't come ?

And so we talked into the night stella got tired and slept on the table i picked her up and lay'ed her into her bed leraje also turned back into a ring instead of putting it on my finger i put it on stellas middle finger.I meant what i said leraje will protect her when i am not around.
