《Shadow Emperor》Spell Ideas

Alright so I have a good idea for the character as well as a general development path but the one thing i am having trouble with is spells for him to learn. I have two or three but i would simply like more, for variety\ies sake. So if any of you have an idea for a LOW LEVEL (aka not world destroying or over powered spell) for darkness type energy i would appreciate it. Darkness energy revolves around acid, corrosion, decay, negative energy, shadows, undead, and curse/hexes. I would also like any ideas for space type spells that are reasonable in power scale. Like i put in the description this is the first time ive tried writing and I would like this to become a novel that i can write for a long, long time making a lovable anti-hero or just straight up self absorbed villain. I have been a long time reader of RoyalRoad (though ive had to remake an account) and i love the supportive community here. So any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Anasthese attends Rei's funeral as a last rite before setting off for Japan, bound towards the disintegrating Futenma Shintenkan Highschool chessclub, of which there are only two members left: Mukuro and Net. She has to see it with her own eyes, a playstyle that Rei lost to... And as Anasthese stays for the long-term, various misadventures are started at Futenma High, including rebuildung the club, Anasthese's "Royal Guards" (four girls dedicated to serving Anasthese and helping challenge Rei) coming to take her back to America, and unexpected guests gracing the local Sports Meet chess scene. From a guy who can only play well everytime money's involved, to a girl who plays on a weird "Magical Girls vs Orcs" chess set, get introduced to the quirky playstyles that make chess wonderful. Recovery of a Life
The prince of a kingdom was erased from the world. His very existence an enigma. Follow Xopil as he forces his life into a world that refuses to acknowledge his presence. I tried to write a novel without including all the standard things you find in certain genres, or if it is included, I hope it's at least a fresh take on it, this includes me breaking the fourth wall, probably too much. I'm wondering if that helped with humor at all, and also reconsidering if that should be a part of the story. I'm going to be rewriting every chapter at this point... and that chapter I'm extremely disappointed with could likely be deleted if not redone entirely. Now that this story is marked 'completed', I'll be going through each chapter and fleshing out the story a bit, as I found it severely lacking, and I've been saying to myself "I could have done more with that." way more often than I should be.
