《Shadow Emperor》Spell Ideas

Alright so I have a good idea for the character as well as a general development path but the one thing i am having trouble with is spells for him to learn. I have two or three but i would simply like more, for variety\ies sake. So if any of you have an idea for a LOW LEVEL (aka not world destroying or over powered spell) for darkness type energy i would appreciate it. Darkness energy revolves around acid, corrosion, decay, negative energy, shadows, undead, and curse/hexes. I would also like any ideas for space type spells that are reasonable in power scale. Like i put in the description this is the first time ive tried writing and I would like this to become a novel that i can write for a long, long time making a lovable anti-hero or just straight up self absorbed villain. I have been a long time reader of RoyalRoad (though ive had to remake an account) and i love the supportive community here. So any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Soulmancer
A fantasy LitRPG filled to the brim with soul summoning and all things soulmancy. Mat couldn't have known he'd wake up with a full suit of armor. He was half expecting a crippling hangover, and the other half a face full of drawn penises. He got neither, which was good, but not enough to justify him being out in the middle of nowhere under the pouring rain with very heavy metal armor on. When he saw the dead bodies on the ground, it finally dawned on him he wasn't anywhere close to home. Not one bit. Things happened after the next, and after hours on end he found himself facing off against a giant of a beast out in the middle of the woods. And if that wasn't enough, he then got held at knifepoint by three naked bunny girls in a nearby river. Things were getting weirder and weirder by the day, but he was determined to make it through and hold on in this new world he magically found himself in. Still, a strong will and magic powers aren't the only things he needed to survive. Genetically perfect soldiers, created for one purpose and one purpose only - to complete the mission at any cost. Two replicants must not only escape the enemy territory, but also deliver two civilians to the HQ. However, their charges are doing everything they can to sabotage the mission and the orders are clear - they can't be left behind or killed.

500 years into the future, technological progress has stagnated. Wracked by a series of problems like climate change, lack of resources and the innate human lust for war, the geopolitical landscape of planet Earth is radically different, and quality of life is far from what it was in the past. While technical development and research into realistically feasible space travel has made leaps and bounds, this has come at the cost of a world that is reeling from centuries of technical stagnation in other aspects of life. The establishment of a mining colony on Mars has led to the discovery of a new, rare material called sarinium; though it is extremely tensile and durable, it has a very low melting point. The discovery of this metal leads to large mechanical infantry- dubbed 'Spirit Striders', they are six to ten meters tall and as famed for the pride they provide a nation as they are a lethally mobile heavy weapons platform. The story follows the character of Marilin, who must both figure the enigma that is her past, and what this means for her allegiances in the future. Despite her genetically physical frailty, she seeks to gain power through a vessel that will channel her wish to change the world- the Spirit Strider. --- I hope you all enjoy my work. This is a story that I began writing over four years ago in my beginning years of high school, and have cast aside unfinished in the past two years.
