Zen Pov

It looks like we are not the first people here on the island. I did not think there would be so many people. I look up and see several people just as crazy as Charlie jumping out the plane each finding a different way down. Then I see the plane explode. So, they really did put a bomb on the plane I thought they were joking.

Charlie: Wow it exploded I thought that they just said that for psychological attack but it really blew up. I guess it a good thing we jumped hahahhahahahahahah.

After a while they gather all of us in one big group, There are five adults on this Island one of them is Madame Serpent. They are all behind an old man. He bald has a long white beard. Kind od remind me of a cetin turtle hermit, but evil.

???: I am Gerard the principle of Hydra Academy and I like to welcome you to the entrance exam. Hydra only looks for the best of the best this exam is weed out the undesirables so only the elite. Do you have what it takes to be a member of Hydra HAIL HYDRA! WHEN ONE HEAD IS CUT OFF TWO MORE GROWS IN ITS PLACE!

Students: HAIL HYDRA

Charlie and Zen:......... Hail Hydra

I think are reaction time was a little slow all these kids seem to be brainwashed. except for two. One is a boy about Charlie's and my age. Green hair brown eyes he has a bored expression on his face. The other is a 12-year-old feminine boy that has the attention span of a gold fish. He has light brown skin and he has brown hair orange eyes with short pointed ears. He also is wearing Chinese style clothing has a hawk on his shoulder.

Gerard: I will now tell you there are 500 people on this island. Only 100 will be allowed into Hydra Academy.

Everyone is in shocked only 20% of the people will pass. That means 80% of the people that came here for nothing. I wonder how people are going to be eliminated.

Gerard: Now I will explain the rules of the exam. Each contestant will receive a badge. The number will be 1-500. You will need to obtain five badges to pass the exam. It does not matter how you get your badges as long as you get them. You can cheat, steal, lie, and gang up on one another. The only thing that matters is that you have five badges when the time is up.

I guess this seem simple enough get badges and keep them until the time is up. Since there are two of us we need to get 10 badges to pass.

Gerard: Just because there are 100 spots does not mean 100 of you will pass. Those who get more than 5 badges will get a prize at the end. The more badges you bring me the better the prize.

Charlie: He just made things more complicated.

Zen: I know instead of everyone just going after 5 badges a piece. Now they will be trying to get as many as they can, Sly old fox really is evil.

Gerard: Groups of 100 will be released one by one every hour. Nobody can attack each other until 15 minutes after the last group has entered the wildness. I know that is not fair to the last group but life is not fair you can only blame your luck. One more thing this place is called the Badlands

Zen: Did he just say the Badlands.

Charlie: YES I NEVER BEEN TO BADLANDS IT ON BUCKET LIST!

Only Charlie would be excited ending up on the Badlands. The Badlands is Island that time has forgot. All different kinds of extinct animals live here from dinosaurs to saber tooth tigers. The island has a weird ecosystem and is dived into several different areas, the climate in two different areas could be completely opposite so none of the animals wander outside of their own territory. It could hot and sunny on one place and cold and snowing like a blizzard in another. So not only do we have to fight the other examinees we also have to fight against nature.

Gerard: Come and get your badges the numbers will be out in no particular order. You will have two hours before the test begins. Prepare well you will need it.

After that we all get in line and we receive our badges. Charlie is number 214 and I am number 437. Look like she is in group 3 and I am in group 5. I thought we are going to work together but how will I find her. She it is no problem.

Zen: How are you going to find me,

She points at her nose

Charlie: I have real strong sense of smell I will just sniff you out when you come in. You have such a delectable scent you will be easy to pick out from the crowd.

Zen: What are you a Beagle

Charlie: That rude my nose is stronger than some dog,

The test examiners give us some supplies and a watch. The watch shows how long we have until the test ends. It looks like we have seven days. We all get prepared and before you know it the test begins. First group goes in after am hour the second. Than Charlies group follows finally the fourth group and then it finally my groups turn. I run into the forest and decide to separate myself as soon as I get in. I will wait for Charlie and then we will come up with a plan. Just like she said she sniffed me out really quick it only took her twenty minutes.

Zen: So, what you want to do.

Charlie: Lets search this area first see what the environment is like if we don't see anybody will move on.

Charlie and I sech the wildness and we see several herbivorous like Triceratops and Stegosaurus. Charlie takes a Selfie with the Triceratops. After a while we see a group of people surrounding that Kid with the green hair I saw earlier. he still has that board look on his face.

Examine: Kid handover your badge and you might live.

Kid: Yawn I have a name and it is Tray and you guys really could this not be any more cliché. You could have at least spices it up a bit. We’ll let see if you can entertain me a little while.

Examinee: Your outnumbered there are three of us and only one of you.

Tray: Your right it is not fair you’re going to need more guys,

Suddenly he disappears and he reappears behind one of the examinees and he takes out a dagger and slits his throat. Great he is a teleporter they are a real pain in the ass to fight especially if they are good at close combat. The other two react quickly. One shot bones out of his body. The other one has his hair extend and tries to capture him.

Tray: Boring HEART STEALER!

He teleports the hearts out of the two enemies’ bodies and they both fall to the ground. Then he teleports all thee bandages an places it in his hand.

Tray: I thought this test was going to be more fun. it turns out it is as boring as everything else.

He sighs and then teleports away. That teleporter was strong. most teleporter can only teleport themselves or things they can see. he actually teleported a human heart right out someone body, Charlie is shivering her eyes are glowing red.

Charlie: Awesome I was scared shitless by that guy this place sure makes you feel alive. That was just examinee I wonder what people at the school are actually like

Zen: Come on let’s keep moving.

We continue for a while and we decide to stop to take a break near a small pond. We decide to make camp for tonight. I go look for some firewood. I also cook some fish out of the pond that I caught. Charlie goes next to the pond and starts undressing.

Zen: What are you doing.

Charlie: Taking a bath it hot and It has been a long day.

Zen: You do realize I am guy right

Charlie: You do realize if you peak I will break every bone in your body right.

How can she say that so casually? The thing is she can do it. If she suckers punchers me I would probably be knocked out for several days that how much brute strength she has She is a fucking cheat. I think that I saw that kid earlier or at least I think it is him his face is all swollen and bloody. Charlie got him with one hand and covering herself with another you can tell she was interrupted her hair is still wet. She covered herself with a towel
