Chapter 26
*ding*
System: You have slain, World Threat Heimdall. For your achievement, you have been awarded “Unique Skill: Bifrost”, Character trait “Eye of Heimdall” and “World Item: Gjallarhorn”
Sweet, what do they do?
Bifrost. Once you have connected two regions, the connection between the two are permanent. Once given permission, others can use the bridge to move great distances in an instant. There is no limit to the distance.
So like a permanent Gate…quite useful.
Heimdall could see the everything. With his eye he watched over the 9 realms of the past, present, and future all together. The eye will always see the truth.
I could feel my eyes change, or rather gain the ability to chain as I learned how to activate the eye of Heimdall. As of now I still had no idea of what it could do or it’s potential. but judging from its description, it sounds pretty damn cool. I wonder if I could become a prophet in the future.
Gjallarhorn. This horn signaled the beginning of Ragnarok and the end of all things. Blow the horn once to all for allies. Ally will depend on your level and race. Blow the horn twice to infect everyone in the World with status ‘madness’ and ‘bloodlust’ and set the world in war once again.
I also picked up some good loot from killing the others on my way to Heimdall. The look on Odin’s face was quite impressive as I killed him with his own spear and then continued to pick up Thor’s hammer before leaving, leaving him to die. They were great exp though. These World Threats that easily are over level 100 came with their benefit of being full to the brim with experience points. I just hope the members of Ainz Ool Gown would continue selling they experience they gathered.
I wonder how sis is doing? I looked back and saw the burning world of Asgard. Well, since this is Asgard, I didn’t really feel bad.
POV Diana
As I squeezed my hands around the Heart of the Fire Giant, Surtr’s HP reach 0 and finally died.

Me: That took longer than expected…shitty devs
Shitty devs for making such an overpowered boss. No one else but Kara and myself would be able to beat this thing in the hour. Still, let’s see what I got.
System: For killing the World Threat ‘Surtr, the Ruler of Muspelheim’, you are granted Character Trait ‘Veins of Fire’, Unique Super Tier Skill ‘Destruction Foretold’ and World Item ‘Flaming Sword of Surtr’.
Cool, I never knew that he had these things in for him. I knew he would drop some things but I guess it was worth the effort. This guy had the exp of a thousand players at least. Still, these drops were some pretty cool stuff.
Veins of Fire. Fire will run in your blood instead of blood. Your fire can empower others or burn them down. Fire will be your ally no matter where you are. All stats increase 50%.
Super Tier Spell ‘Destruction Foretold’. You are the chosen one of the Prophecy that will burn down the 9 realms. Unleash your fire and burn down worlds to nothing. This attack takes no mana. This attack can only be used every 72 hours.
Alright, that was definitely going into my ‘no touchie’ list unless Godly aliens came visiting.
Flaming Sword of Surtr. The Blade that has killed the God Freyr and burned down worlds. Killing others with this blade will make them your Fire Giant for eternity. They are bound to your service until death. The blade can set a designated area on permanent fire. This attack is usable only once every 72 hours.
Another item that is OP indeed. I wonder what the Fire Giants would be but I guess we have our own way of producing infinite minions now.
I’ll have to ask Kara to duplicate the blade.

That was a lot to read, I hope I can at least reach Level 200 before the game ends. Hopefully the ??? connects and works in the New World. For now, it won’t even show up on the screen. At least it still shows that I can put levels into it even if it can’t do anything right now.
Still, it was almost time. With most of the bosses slain, the event was coming to an end. There was only a few things left to do and they were just little luxuries than something necessary. Overall, it was a good run.
Back in the Guild Room of Ainz Ool Gown, I started talking to Albedo.
Me: Your creator…he didn’t leave you because he viewed you imperfect. He left because he had to. No one, not a single Supreme Being would leave their creations willingly. You know yourself how much love and effort he poured into creating you and your sisters.
I wiped a non-existent tear from Albedo’s face. I couldn’t see it but somehow I knew that she was starting to cry. In relief and sadness.
Me: Back in the first world, many of the Supreme Beings are not as powerful as they are here. They are respectable all the same but they cannot bend reality as they do here. Unlike them, I have a bit more power in the first world…and my only regret is not being able to come earlier to help them…meet them so they no longer have to suffer and can spend that time with you.
Albedo stayed silent, along with a few maids in the background, but beyond this barrier of an NPC, I saw emotion and life in their eyes as they finally began to understand.
Me: But I need you all to stay hopeful. There is a final chance. This world that my father created is coming to an end…very soon. With it’s death, a new one will take it’s place. This world will draw in players, people, and even your creators from all over the place. I cannot know for sure if this will work, or when they will arrive as this maneuver will manipulate both time and space…but if we are lucky enough, it might just be enough to pull this off.
I looked them straight in the eye as I said my next words.
Me: When the tree falls, I will be in Society with my sister. I will transfer from there and meet all of you in the New World. I don’t know if we will arrive or after Ainz Ool Gown. I only know that each transfer is about a 100 years apart. Whether I arrive before you or not, I need you to wait for us. I know you can do that, right?
It was probably my imagination but just for a split second, I could see beyond this thin filter and saw a very teary Albedo nodding back at me. I hugged her before teleporting back out of the tomb.
With my new Magic-based classes, I could finally cast the ‘Gate’ spell which would save so much time and resources. Since my multiple magic classes offered a variety of abilities I was previously unable to do or replicate.
Diana: I’m ready, are you?
Me: Ready as I’ll ever be. Let’s go get the crown.
Our immunity, our shield, our hope. The Crown of the True King.

The Hawkshaw Inheritance
The Hawkshaw Inheritance is a completed story, with twenty chapters in total. For as long as almost anyone can remember, a small percentage of people have possessed fantastic gifts. Superhuman strength, speed, and smarts are just a few of the many such abilities on record. Some choose to exploit these powers for personal gain, but most use them for the benefit of their fellow man. Thanks to these people, who we call superheroes, the world is safe. The reality is a little more complicated. Most heroes are content to stop the supervillain and pose for the cameras. But it takes more than a few costumed cops and superpowered celebrities to save the world. Humanity is in danger from forces that ordinary heroes are woefully unequipped to handle. But neither they nor the public will ever be aware of the danger they are in, thanks to the efforts of the Council. For more than twenty years, the world's most powerful, influential, and intelligent metahumans have worked tirelessly in secret to protect the world, and subtly steer it on a better course. Six months ago, one of their number, the infamous vigilante detective known as Hawkshaw, disappeared without a trace. Now it falls to his protege to take up the mantle of Hawkshaw, learn the truth of his mentor's disappearance, and uncover the secrets of the most powerful people in the world... as well as what they're willing to do to keep those secrets buried.

The gleaming reflection of those flickering flowers in her meekly eyes, as well as her blossoming countenance of hardships, demonstrate both her innocence and independence, which has never been tainted by the outside world.
