After finding him, outside the warehouse, Eian walked towards Jacob, he was in deep discussion with a few security personnel, when he spotted Eian he reacted as expected.
"What's Blake want?" Jacob followed up frowned and folded his arms.
"Blake says he has a prisoner problem." Eian watched as Jacob swore, his face contorted.
"Why did he even tell you about them?" Jacob visibly grew red and muttered something under his breath.
Eian shrugged, he had to play along and better Jacob blame Blake than him, Jake rubbed his eyes before calming down.
"Forget it. Go." Jacob pointed back into the warehouse.
Marching forward they entered, passing the ceiling high shelves worked by laborers, they quickly reached Blake who was still at his post, calm as a cucumber.
Yelling ensued, curses and insults were stoically endured by Blake, flinching only when Jacob looked as though he would get violent.
Eian observed cautiously, so far everything was fine but the moment things got violent it could go badly.
Jacob commanded them both downwards, they quickly collected Martin and his partner also, Jacob ordered Eian and Martin to stand apart from a little away.
"Where is he?" Jacob asked both his guards.
"Check it out. There, bit out his tongue." Blake explained pointing.
"What?" Jacob went towards the door and opened the eye hatch.
Eian smiled as Jacob trembled, his body shook for a few moments, Eian watched mildly fascinated as Jacob was dominated.
Dominion was Ezrael's PSI power, he could control the feeble minded and even alter their memories, Eian was intimidated by it, but he would do many things to escape, kill even.
They had struck a deal in which they would capture Jacob and use him to escape, Ezrael had been steadily mind controlling a few people and altering their memories preparing himself for an escape.
Eian's arrival was simply fruitious to them both, as Ezraels control had both a distance limit and a limit on how many people he could control if the controlled got too far away his control broke.
Ezrael had been hesitating simply because he had no onecompetent to help him in case of trouble, with Jacob guiding them escape would be easier.
Eian stared at the line of doors, there were probably many more people held captive here, he couldn't see inside the cells but he could imagine.
It was impossible to save them all, of course, escaping themselves would be tricky and taking more people only exaggerated the risk futher.
It left a bitter taste to him, but he wasn't a superhero and this wasn't a world where being good led to good results.
******
"Attacks happen almost every day or every other," Ezrael added as they discussed plans inside his cell, the warden had handed over the key to Ezrael long before Eian had arrived.
Jacob and the two security guards stood silently and stared at the walls unresponsive on the side, Eian and Martin in front of him.
"That just means we have to get out even faster." Eian felt jittery, something about escaping was hiking up his adrenaline.
"Yes, but these three are my limit. Having him will boost our chances to get out. We just need to grab my son and your mother." Ezrael clarified and was referring to Jacob.
"I'm not sure that's smart. Where is your son?" Martin was visibly fidgeting.
"Bradley has kids in the rooms above his office." Ezrael clarified.
"And how are we going to get him?" Martin stressed.
"We ARE going to get Ez. I'm not leaving without him." Ezrael bared his teeth at Martin, Eian understood his stance he wouldn't leave his mother either.

"...That is not what I'm saying. I just think it is going to be hard, honest." Martin lifted both hands defensively.
"Then let us be clear. With. That." Ezrael squinted at Martin.
Eian was still unsure as to how he felt about Ezrael, his power was dangerous, but he was his best chance to escape without a conflict.
There was also the problem that Eian did not know how he was affiliated with this criminal group, for all Eian knew he could be from a rival enemy gang or something along those lines.
Eian didn't ask simply because he could just lie, plus he didn't quite like how Ezrael seemed to know so many things about him.
For all, he knew Ezrael could be controlling him already, simply considering the thought was terrifying, as soon as he was able Eian wanted to get away from him.
"Let us get them both then. We hide, wait for an attack and escape under the distraction." Ezrael outlined his plan.
"Why not just run now?" Martin rubbed his hands together.
"Idiot, they'll just follow us on vehicles. Can you outrun a car?" Ezrael shook his head as he answered the obvious.
"Steal a car?" Martin inquired.
They fine-tuned their plan a bit more, but it was pretty basic, making it any more complicated would just lead to more room for error in Ezraels opinion.
Each attack happened either at night or early morning, that meant it would likely happen early in the morning tomorrow as it happened early today unless there was another attack during the night.
They decided to not steal a car as it may alert the other guards and raise suspicion and have their escape thwarted.

The cafeteria was made of rows of tables and a kitchen at the back, it was busy as the women cleaned, his mother was on duty.
A few workers turned to stare at their group entered, Eian resisted the antsy urge to rush out with his mother, but it was best to wait until her shift ended or an attack.
Retrieving Elisa was the first step, every second had Eian on edge, every second was another chance to be discovered.
As her shift ended she reluctantly stepped out, looking at Jacob with fear, she briefly sent a questioning look to Eian, Eian nodded.
"What's happening? Where are they taking us?" Elisa shuddered, Eian brought his index finger to his mouth, hushing her.
They made their way slowly, Eian whispered to her in broken Spanish about their plan.
Escorted they passed Bradley's office easily and continued without hurry.
Going up a few floors they passed easily with Jacob as their guide, Eian's heart almost stopped as another guard stopped them.
"Cheif? Whats up?" The guard asked.
"Let us pass," Jacob responded.
"Uh...You spoken to the Admin? He told me to not let anyone in." The guard shifted nervously.
"You're questioning me?" Jacob asked quizzically.
The guard looked at Jacob puzzled, he remained silent, perhaps stunned.
"Of course not, just...you know how Bradley gets... I'm going to get chewed out for this." The guard fidgeted silently, unaware what to do.
"I'll deal with it," Jacob answered, as per Ezrael's command.
"....Alright, Chief just... well just remember you said that." The guard fumbled with some keys and opened the door and let them pass.
As they passed Eian watched as father and son had an emotional reunion before him, within the room the son had been held in, it included a bed and an attached bathroom.

Closing the door behind them they remained there roughly a few hours waiting for the next attack to resume their escape under cover, then to prompt their escape without anyone the wiser.
As they waited Eian felt a surge of energy it filtered through his body and this time he recognized it as Qi, at long last, he was at his peak.
A few minutes passed in relative peace, it was promptly ruined as he heard a voice outside the door.
"Whats happening?" Bradley's voice rung out.
Turning Eian's hope tumbled as Bradley entered with two guards and the one from outside, he looked perturbed.
The guard was explaining to Bradley and Jacob remained frozen, as Ezrael was clearly not sending commands.
Elisa was shaking and Eian clenched his fists, a conflict was possible as Ezrael could not control so many.
"Wait? Jacob? Whats the meaning of this? I'll put you in a cell for this!" Bradley was growing red in the face.
"Ezrael," Eian called his attention silently.
"On it." Ezrael closed his eyes and focused.
Eian watched as Bradley twitched before dropping to his knees clutching his head, at the same time his guards reacted one grabbed Bradley as the other gripped the gun at his side.
"Whats happening!" The guard grabbed Bradley.
"Heart attack?" Eian added hopeful, shifting uncomfortably.
One of the two guards under Ezrael's command collapsed as Bradley groaned and mumbled incoherently, the guards grew further agitated at this.
"Fuck, shut up! Jake help me with this." The guard demanded as he placed Bradley on the floor, checking his vitals.
"All of you stay still." The other guard unsheathed his gun and pointed it to the ceiling.
"Woah! woah, wow. Honestly? Come on? Chill!" Martin raised his hands defensively which contrasted with his thin sinewy build.
"Hold still!" The armed guard threatened him briefly flashing the gun at Martin before aiming at the ceiling again.
Jacob was, of course, unresponsive, Ezrael was sweating with effort and Eian noticed he was breathing heavily.
"JAKE!" The armed guard yelled to an unresponsive Jacob, he pointed the gun at Jacob.
Eian had enough, drawing Qi from his core he took a deep breath, closed his eyes and powered power from his core through metaphysical veins, the energy felt like lightning.
Power coursing through his body and blasting forward with an enhanced step, Eian punched the armed guard with the power of a sledgehammer, a resounding crack made Eian instinctively flinch, no pain.
The security from the door reacted, reaching for his gun, but Eian was too quick as he spun and swung his fist randomly, after the impact he kicked at the one holding Bradley straight at the face.
The first guard blocked with his arm and screamed as his arm snapped, the neck of the other twisted all the way to the back with a cracking meaty snap before hanging limp, both fell to the ground shortly.
Without thought Eian stomped the guard with the broken arm, ending in crunching bones and a short silenced scream.
Fight over, Eian was left shaking and breathing heavily from surprise, adrenaline filtering through his veins prevented him from dwelling on his actions.
Taking in the scene almost made bile rise up, Eian gulped, imagining the taste burn his throat.
"Holy. Shit. To God? Fuck? Honestly?" Martin was the first to respond, his eyes were bulging.
Elisa's response was much more graphic, she bent over and vomited, Eian watched her through dilated eyes and numbed horror.
He killed them, Eian stared especially at the final victim, his head resembled a crushed watermelon, a few teeth were attached to a piece gum, blood was spilling everywhere the body a gushing crimson fountain, so much blood.
He heard someone call his name and he blinked, refocusing Eian grabbed his turbulent emotions and pushed them to a side.
"Eian. Get in." Ezrael commanded as the remains were being dragged inside already.
Everyone got in, Eian sorted through his thoughts, they still had to escape.
"I think we need to clean that up." Eian didn't recognize his own voice.
"Honestly? You think!" Martin growled.
"Shut up!" Ezrael rebuked him angrily.
They did TRY clean it, scrapping the remains off the floor but the blood stains remained.
Elisa remained in shock and Ezrael junior was sobbing, holding on to his father.
"Shhh..Shh.. Ez relax they were bad guys, remember?. Alright, no one panic. Luckily there aren't any cameras installed here yet." Ezrael reassured them.
"What about the scream?" Eian was worried someone coming to investigate.
"I have Bradley and Jacob under my control. They can explain it away if anyone comes, they're both high up in command." Ezrael explained easily.
"But what about him?" Martin pointed to the unconscious security guard who was not Blake.
That guard had lost consciousness when Ezrael relinquished command to take over Bradley, Ezrael looked at Martin in the eye.
"Kill him," Ezrael said simply.
"...Woah man honestly... what?" Martin looked visibly shaken looking from Eian to Ezrael.
"Eian do it. Shhh." Ezrael calmed his son stroking the back of his head while the boy cried.
"What?" Eian stared at him dumbfounded, Elisa turned and watched him also, she looked frightened.
"My sons watching. I can't." Ezrael explained.
"You want me to kill someone unconscious?" Eian was still dealing with killing the other three.
"You already killed three. What's the problem?" Ezrael asked.
"I ... the others would have attacked us," Eian replied looking at Elisa who was shell-shocked.
Ezrael looked at them both before sighing and closing his eyes, Jacobs body walked mechanically and grabbed the unconscious guard.
Under Ezrael's command, Jacob dragged the man to the only bathroom in the room, a sharp crack emanated from within.
Elisa held herself and Eian was afraid to approach her just yet, she needed time, He needed time.
"Alright now we just have to sit tight wait. An attack will happen eventually." Ezrael said.
It was already fully night and Eian had a feeling he wouldn't like sleeping, the others were much the same, each in their own thoughts, Eian reflected on the ease of killing.
Was that what he had to do now? How many more lives would he have to end before he found peace?
*****
The escape continued early in the morning as soon as the sun was peeking out, they heard the attack happen from outside as shots began firing, they easily passed security with both Bradley, Blake, and Jacob.
Loud bangs cracked from outside as they exited, guards were running all over paying no heed to them as they went behind the building, with little security it would be simple for Eian to crush through the cement ten-foot high wall surrounding the compound.
Eians spirits soared, escape was imminent, one last step till freedom, it was so close he could taste it.
"Ready?" Eian asked him.
"Yeah, let's go." Ezrael motioned him forward.
Eian touched the wall, channeling an empower he broke through easily by shattering the cement wall with an easy image.
His mother and the boy were the last to exit, they were not combatants and thus a liability.
Clearing the premises, Eian's spirit froze and died when bullets started shooting at him, a sharp stab hit his arm out of nowhere.
Martin dropped like a sack as well as Jacob and Bradley whom dropped robotically.
"Fuck!" Eian encased himself in armor, chips of rock broke off with every shot.
Looking he spotted what was clearly a lookout shooting from atop his pickup truck, Eian charged, his encased feet sounded like the beating drums of war.
Bullets deflected off him easily, and his attacker emptied his cartridge before speeding off in the vehicle.
With two empowers Eian stomped the ground, the earth roared as the asphalt beneath a front wheel exploded, the vehicle flipped.
The gunman inside never emerged, he was likely bruised, knocked out or worse, Eian had little time to worry.
Running back to the group, Eian realized the kid was crying, turning to look, the kid's father was on the floor groaning clutching his middle, clearly hurt.
Elisa was holding her mouth closed, and Eian cursed under his breath, nothing was going according to plan, Martin on the other hands was face down on the floor.
Inspecting Martin closer, Eian realized he had taken a bullet which went straight through his head, what first looked like a spray of blood was bloody brain matter looking a bit like ground meat.
Tightening his stomach at the thought, Eian realized that could have well been his mother, they had to be more careful.
"Mom. Grab the kid tight. I'll take us out of here." Fully encased in armor Eian grabbed the injured man, the other two climbed atop his armors shoulders.
Using his reserves quickly Eian bounded away from the place, even carrying the lot of them, his empowered steps each took him far with each stride.
His mother and the kid clung to the back of his armor, holstering on his uncomfortable armor, he made a poor horse and their tailbones were taking a bruising.
They easily escaped abandoning all fallen men without looking back, without Ezrael's control the rest were not allies anyway.

Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
