《Alternate Dreams》Dream 68

Alex had a headache, he had to find the time to apologize to Eian properly, after he took care of this problem.
Jessica knocked him in the jaw good, he couldn't even remember how it happened, the memory was all fuzzy accompanied by a sore jaw.
When he gathered himself he just saw Eian smiling over at him with Jess crying in a corner, it hadn't been a good picture and he misunderstood.
If he had been in his right mind he was sure he would have given Eian the benefit of the doubt, what a mess.
Right now Jess was in a corner glaring at him, for reasons unknown, the big question was: What happened to her?
She went off to meet her spirit guide to get stronger an she came back angry and upset, did the power she get upset her mind or change her?
"YOU!" Jessica's voice got his attention.
He turned to look and noticed Sarah was up, Jess had been pointing at her and Alex grew worried, this wasn't looking good.
Eyes' tearful, hair wild and teeth grit in anger, Jess made for a sight straight out of an asylum.
"You! This is all your fault!" Jessica was glaring at her murderously.
"Look, I don't know what your problem is and frankly I don't care right now." Sarah shrugged as she took a quick glace at her room entrance.
Jessica got up and begun to charge at Sarah, Alex intercepted her with a bear-hug.
She wrestled with him attempting to throw him off, but he stubbornly held on.
"Jess! Stop!" Alex's voice rang out.
Sarah turned to look and her face scrunched up in disgust and anger.
"If she gets near me, I'm going to shock her till she calms down to her senses." Sarah's voice was hard and pitiless.
"You're not helping!" Alex had his hands full trying to restrain Jessica.
"I don't care. She's acting like an animal." Sarah's mouth formed a thin line.

"LET GO!" Jess elbowed his gut, ouch.
"I'll be in my room." Sarah got up and left.
"GET BACK HERE YOU OWE ME!" Jessica was still thrashing.
Sarah ignored her and went into her room, leaving only the two of them.
"Jess calm down!" Alex.
"Let go of me!" Jess got loose and moved away from him.
She was huffing from exertion and glaring at him, he felt lost, what could he do?
He didn't know what kind of problem she had or what to do about it.
"Jess, let's talk about this. Please." Alex raised his hands up defensively.
"We're not talking about anything! Leave me alone!" Jess was absolutely fuming in anger.
Jess strode off into her own room, it was located on the other side of Eian's and Sarah's so he wasn't worried she was going to pick a fight.
Alex begun to go after her slowly to try to calm her down.
"Don't follow me! Go away!" Jessica's words were a knife in the gut.
He stood there in the open space longer than he really should have.
'What now?' Alex sighed and scratched his head.
Alex sat down and stared at the ceiling, he felt helplessly lost.
For the first time he began to think over his situation in full, he was stuck here in a weird world with people he'd recently met, with no end in sight.
He usually tried to keep optimistic so the others would feel good cheer and not fight, but he had clearly failed and it stung.
They had made a great impact on him, he wasn't sure what would happen after they all got home, would they still keep tabs on each other?
Eian was a bit sarcastic yet cool and you could depend on him in a tight spot, Sarah was a bit too bossy, but she was probably overly stressed about the situation.
This new development with Jessica was his major concern right now though, he'd thought they would still see each other after this, he even gave his phone number to her.

'Still, I guess I'm assuming we are getting out of here alive.' He thought darkly.
Shaking his head Alex banished the thought, he wasn't Eian, whom always assumed the worst.
Speaking of the devil Eian emerged from his room looking about, Alex straightened he still had to apologize properly.
"Hey Eian, man. I'm Sorry." Alex tried to convey his sincere feeling on the matter.
Eian for his part turned to look at him with his mouth as a thin line and eyes dull.
"Yeah. Fine. Ho's before bro's and all that." Eian shrugged and went over to grab some cooked food.
'Well at least he didn't lash out.' Alex closed his eyes and breathed out sharply through his nose.
Then the ground began shaking.
*****
Eian bolted upright, his mouth stuffed and looked about in utter shock.
Alex was bewildered and soon both Jessica and Sarah scrambled out from their rooms.
Eian was trying to balance himself, while small loose patches of earth were falling down to the ground, that widened his eyes further and he felt they'd bulge.
Eian quickly grabbed a few weapons and a piece of his armor.
"We have to get out!" Sarah shouted even as she raced for the exit.
Eian sprung to action and saw the other two do the same, he saw a large chunk fall and almost crush Jessica.
Soon everyone was out and Eian's heart was still not calming down, the scene in-front of him shocked him.
It was relatively late in the day the first sun had already begun to set, but the sky had changed color.
There was a stream of dark power going up into the sky blackening it and the suns took on a sinister look, what looked like bird or bats were flying around the fount of dark energy.
Eian felt a chill seep into his bones at the sight, that couldn't be anything good.
"Let's go!" Sarah ordered.
"Where?" Jessica looked about scared yet angry.
"Anywhere!" Sarah urged.
"Wait. What is it?" Alex stood there staring at the stream of energy.
Suddenly the cave beneath them collapsed, taking everything they didn't have on them with it, they fell in a short tumble.
Getting up from the dirt Eian looked around, everyone was alright, if a little dirty and frightened, the tremors ceased shortly.
Eian's gut sank, all that hard work, ruined in record time, it was as if the world hated him and took sadistic pleasure seeing him waste time and labor.
The wind in the forest had also picked up drastically and Eian noticed it was even worse than the time the bird had attacked him.
Off in the distance the forest rang of activity and battle, it resembled the sounds of the fighting between the undead and the forests inhabitants a while back.
'What's going on? Has the world gone crazy?' Eian scanned the forest looking for a clue as the others argued.
"Lets just go the other way of that!" Sarah pointed at the stream of energy.
Eian turned to look at the group.
"I agree. Let's leave." Eian didn't want to stay here a second more than he had to.
Alex had left all his armor and only brought his great-sword, Eian himself only held two axes and his chestplate.
The girls had both left everything they had on them, Eian frowned that was irresponsible, but he supposed given the circumstances he couldn't blame them.
That left them in a bad spot however.
"Here." He held out an axe to Jessica whom looked at him with confusion.
"Want to swap?" Alex asked Jess whom frowned and ignored him.
Eian closed his eyes and barely restrained himself from beating this lot of idiots.
