We all make mistakes, some could be avioded though. Ever felt that voice in your head that tells you your about to do something stupid, but do it anyways? Later when it's all over you realize you should have listened to your subconcious and been more careful. Some people pay dearly for their mistakes though and never get a chance to learn from them. As a wise man once said: " Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others."
Eian and Alex both felt this after charging and screaming their lungs out towards the unknown. With their glowing red eyes, foul stench and six legs they couldn't be anything else but spiders. Three giant hairy spiders, the size of dogs, thats what awaited them beyond the curve. Screaming with rightious fear the men swung their guttering torches towards the aracnids with all their might.
"What the fuck!" Alex screamed as he pummeled the spider, which soon caught fire.
Eian almost agreed as the spiders converged on them ignoring their threathening swings of firey death. Eian almost faltered a moment, he wasn't ready for this shit! Seeing Alex he steeled himself.
Soon the spiders were on them and they had to kick, shove and thrash wildly to not get biten by their fangs. Alex was unlucky as two were activly seeking him out and one temporarily latched unto his leg biting and burning him, while he fell to the floor. He kicked it away and it held off the other even as the flames licked at his arms, he managed to throw it off himself and sink the torch into its back. Eian only had one to deal with and managed to hold it down with his torch long enough to stamp it dead on the head killing it.
He the proceeded to shove away the one Alex kicked untill it succumbed to the flames. The melee lasted a minute at most, but felt endless to the frantic male combatants. The girls peeked after a brief silence, darkness descended upon the cavern save for the sound of deep breathing and exhaustion. Luckily for them the cave emitted low lights which, though bearly, still allowed them a pinch of visibiliy. Eian was standing guard breathing heavily, watching for more spider monsters, while Alex was cradling his injured leg muttering obscenities to no one in particular. Upon closer inspection the girls noticed the both sported minor insignificant burns on their legs, hands and arms.
"What happened?" Sarah stared at Alex, but was ignored in favor of patching his leg with a piece of his pants.

"You blind!? Spiders! Giant mother-fucking monsters, thats what fucking happened!" Eian waved his arms about eyes wide, he was distressed and undergoing minor shock.
"Geez calm down. You guys killed them didn't you? Don't go attracting more of them." Jessica frowned, as she went to help Alex.
"She's right Eian calm down man. I don't think I can handle any more of them right now." Alex painstakingly voiced that through clenched teeth.
Sarah cautiously observed the crispy remains remains of the spiders and poked them with Eian's now extinguished torch. She concluded the beasts were dead and she went to attend Alex along with Jessica. Eian was busy calming himself down until he noticed something curious upon his forearm.
"Guys... what the fuck is this?" Eian kept his voice controlled, as he pointed toward his forearm upon which he saw colored tattoos he hadn't noticed before.
"What are you talking about? Did you get burned there too?" Jessica looked over her shoulder, while helping Alex bandage his leg with part of his pants.
"No these damn tattoos, I don't remember having them before, maybe the people whom brought us here, put them there and I didn't notice before?" Eian stared with trepidition, eyes confused.
"Lemme see? I don't remember you having anything there." Sarah moved closer, then grabbed hold his wrist lightly and inspected his forearm.
There upon his forearm Eian noted three seperate tattoos sporting different colors. The first was colored red and boldly read "Body:2". The second was green stating "Mind:3" which was confusing enough to Eian. The last tattoo depicted a blue colored "Spirit:0" and left Eian throughly confused as to why anyone would lable him in such a way.
"I don't see anything. Did you hurt yourself somewhere?" Sarah scanned his forearm again for any sign of what he said.
"What do you mean you don't see anything? It's right there. You sure those glasses work?" Eian frowned at her a bit worried.
He questioned her eyesight, perhaps she was blinder than he thought.
"Hey! What the hell! I'm here worried about you and your being an asshole! I said nothings there, maybe your brain needs glasses! Also for your information these are reading glasses!" Sarah shoved him backwards hard, and was outright offended at his provocation.
"Knock it off! We need to make sure Alex is alright, he's hurt." Jessica shook her head at them while watching them bicker.
Eian frowned deeper, what's up with her.
"I don't know what her problem is, but this thing is freaking me out enough without her telling me I'm seeing things." Eian paced while showcasing his forearm about.

"Eian stop it. Your making a scene out of nothing. Alex is hurt, there's nothing on your arm." Jessica frowned after glancing at his bare forearm.
"Jessica's right Eian, Alex first. I'll check you over later, maybe something is affecting your head. Sorry I yelled at you." Sarah breathed deeply, as she quickly mastered her anger.
Eian felt as if his jaw would hit the floor. Never in all his life had he been treated as an unruly child by anyone, except his mother when he was little. Gazing at his forearm he wondered if truly the stress had gotten to his mind and he had lost it. He quickly went through a few senarios in his mind of what could possibly lead to this kind of situation, he couldn't acutally be crazy could he?
"Ummm... Not to be weird here girls, but I think I know what Eian is talking about." Alex said after finishing up with his leg injury.
"You mean you see it?" Eian stared at Alex and perked up at the thought of not being crazy.
"No man. Actually I don't see anything on your arm...., but I see something on mine that could be what your talking about." Alex stared at his arm, while looking over his own set of markings.
"Alex... are you sure you and Eian are okay? Maybe something has both of you imagining things?" Jessica played with her hair nervously, hoping both of the guys hadn't succumbed to some form of disease.
"Well if I'm crazy then its got both me and Eian seeing these things." Alex half-smiled, relativly calmly since he was certain he wasn't crazy, Eian was seeing it too afterall.
"What does it look like?" Sarah tilted her head at Alex, as her curiousity and mind got to work on the matter.
"Well my one reads a red worded body with a number three , a green mind with a number three and the blue word spirit with a number zero." Alex read off his forearm with narrowed eyes.
"Hey my one's similar! I have a body reading two, a mind reading three and a spirit reading zero with the same colors on all of them." Eian fist pumped enthusiastic at not being thought of as an attention baby.
It took some time to convince the girls they weren't crazy, especially Jessica as she was a skeptic. Sarah deduced it was obviously the fact they had both killed the spiders while the girls hadn't lifted a finger to help. Alex and Eian readily agreed and were quick to assume it had to reflect their own basic attributes. Everyone was preplexed as to why spirit was at zero as Eian went to church on occasion, while Alex attended due to his family tradition. They were also wondering when and how it possibly appeared.
"I don't want to sound crazy, but maybe spirit stands for magic?" Sarah frowned, as she puzzled over the implications.
"Magic? You mean wizards, goblins, elves and that sort of Tv garbage?" Jessica swallowed, perturbed at the idea.
"Well I was thinking more wizard magic than the other two. It also opens up some dangerous avenues of thought." Sarah folded her arms, excitement and fear warred within her.
"You mean.... you think.... we might have been brought here through magic and not just abducted." Alex rubbed his head, distressed at the idea.
"That's all kinds of fucked up. I mean giant spiders, magic whats next? Werewolves?." Eian glanced around, unsure about everything inside the cave and how quickly he could get the fuck out.
"You're scaring me! I don't like it! Please let's just get the hell out of this cave, before more spiders come eat us." Jessica held herself, clearly spooked.
Alex looked up at Jessica with worry.
"Hey.....We'll get out soon. I promise, Eian, Sarah and I are here with you too. Alright?" Alex looked straight at Jessica's eyes.
Eian ignored the rest of their conversation it was pointless anyways. Soon everyone went quiet to process this new development.
"Eian, sorry man but I think you'll have to go infront. I'll need some help walking from one of the girls. I'll still fight, I just have to stand carefully on one leg. So just buy time for the girls to retreat and then come over next to me so we take them." Alex looked down at the floor, uncomfortable at the idea.
"Yeah I kinna figured. Can't be helped, what are 'friiiieeeendz' for ha.... Sarah hand over my torch to Alex and I'll grab the other." Eian shrugged, while grumbling and sighing loudly.
Bright mushrooms illuminated their path and large patches rendered the cave brighter on occasion, while some areas were almost in complete darkness. The occassional torch was freshly extinguished, which puzzled them as to whom placed them there recently. The caves occassional stalagmites glittered with the relection of lights granting them that eerie feel of discomfort once more. Now deep down to their bones they knew they were right to be afraid. Thus they set off once more towards certain danger, whilst praying for salvation.
