Gin’s Notes #7- Nanobots Part 1: The nanobots in my body
When I decided to write about nanobots, I realised there was so much to go through. Where did they come from? How do they work? How do I use them? So many questions to answer and so I decided to split up the topic up into several parts and as you can see from the title, this ‘notes’ will be about the nanobots that reside in my body.
I’ll be honest with you. I don’t know how my father did it. I was used as one of his experiments which turned out to be a success. I don’t hate him though. After losing my older brother, he didn’t want me dying to the same disease (he never told me what disease it was though). He was also a genius and if anyone was to make the nanobots experiment a success, it would have been him. But that’s enough about my past. Let’s get into the informative part of the notes.
Firstly, the nanobots have the ability to replicate themselves, much like cells in the body. Instead of protein, it uses various metals in the body to build itself anew. It means I need to eat a lot more iron, zinc and other various metals in order to sustain the nanobots in my body. But don’t ask me how they replicate themselves, I don’t understand either. I’m just the builder, not the architect.
But what is the purpose of the nanobot, you may ask. Well, the ones in my body act as a substitute to my normal bodily functions. As a result, my regeneration is higher than average and, in times of critical condition, it can repair damaged organs. I’ve only seen this happen once, when my heart got crushed and the nanobots acted as its alternative while I was in a coma.

According to Joan, cells started to form around my mechanical heart. At the moment, my heart is ten percent normal cells, ninety percent nanobots. But as time goes on, I predict that I could have a heart made up of ordinary cells once more. The human body is really amazing, isn’t it? I’m rambling on again but I’ll end this notes with what else the nanobots in my body help out with.
It helps me with improved eyesight, faster reaction speeds and slightly improved strength (not as strong as most mages though). One extra thing that it probably does is that it reduces the effects of male pattern baldness. I basically have the same set of hair as I did when I was young so that’s a nice bonus too. They probably have more roles but I have yet to find out. One of my guesses is that I will have an above average lifespan (relative to manush of course). The nanobots are amazing and I don’t regret having them!

The Light Bringer
Would you leave behind everything you knew to live the life of another version of yourself? A version from a land where status sceens, levels, dwarfs, elves, beastkin and monsters were real? A world where limits were not set in stone and danger or adventure could be around every corner? If you stopped and thought about it, I think you would conclude it was a bad idea. But for a guy like William Taylor who actually got to make this theoretical choice, he chose yes. He's learning to regret that very quickly. But maybe one day he won't, if he lives long enough ------ Just some details about what this story will be like. This is more a character story than a story about leveling up and becoming OP. That may happen in time but don't expect it any time too soon. The MC has no powers that he brings into the world. He just has to do the best he can with his wits, knowledge and will to succeed. Also it's only fair to warn people this series has a bit of a slow start. 1 chapter a week with occasional bonus chapters.

10 months. 10 months was enough to numb the pain. Bellamy hated it, hated how the pain lessened because his sister deserved more. She deserved the world, and he couldn't give her it. Bellamy hadn't cried for her yet. He was shoving everything Octavia related into a file in his brain never to be looked at again. He hated himself for it, for trying to forget, but he knew that he would shatter if he tried to sort through it. A part of him had died that day in the backyard, a part of him had died with Lincoln and Octavia in that car crash. Her funeral was the hardest thing he'd ever had to do. Him and Clarke had driven home in silence, and then he'd gotten home and sat on the couch, unable to move, unable to think, too numb to do anything except stare.Woohoo! Another Bellarke story! I'm sorry, these fanfictions just keep coming. Now they're the only thing I can write, lol. This is a modern AU where Bellamy and Clarke are roommates, she works at a Hospital and him as a college professor.*COMPLETED*Started: 4/27/20Finished: 5/26/20200 views?!?
