I've had a few complaints and comments on the notes. Most of them were about the notes reading like a textbook. They make me both happy and upset at the same time.

Sad because some people don't like it. I understand that's a matter of preference, and I did say that people are free to skip the notes as they don't add much to the story, but I still want to address these things.

Happy because that's the intention, or at least in the early chapters. Since it is written in the perspective of Gin, he wants to write like the textbooks he studied back in the village. Therefore, it's meant to be that way in the early notes.

But for those who immediately dropped the notes, thinking that all of them will be similiar, be rest assured. Gin will slowly open up to the readers, especially after Wo Pim's introduction and entries, which I hope is evident if you decide to soldier on through all of them.
