Chapter 28
POV Diana
Luffy and Robin stood facing me, ready to attack. Honestly, they looked as if they were about to fall unconscious again. I could tell that Robin barely recovered from Kara’s blow and the only thing keeping Luffy standing was his crazy willpower.
Me: Luffy, if you fight me here, there is a very good chance you will die. Are you sure you want to do this?
Luffy: *huff* *huff* Gear Second!
*CRACK*
Before Luffy even moved, I used Soru to go over to him and punch his face as hard as I can. I then put my other hand on his stomach.
Me: …Repulsion
Luffy’s stomach exploded as his rubbery insides were torn apart. I took special care to leave him alive, if I didn’t hold back, there wouldn’t even be a body left. Still, Luffy was knocked out cold. He was already downed twice against his fight against Lucci, it’s amazing that he was still standing anyway.
Me: Well then Robin, do you want to fight as well?
Robin: Will you take me as well? To Marineford?
Me: Maybe, but not today. I think we beat your crew enough to BS the government into thinking we tried to catch you. So for now, how about we talk about something less important. For example, how you guys are going to escape from me.
Of course, I knew exactly how they would. The Going Merry should be coming here by now
POV Kara
Me: So how’s this going to be? I go to you or you come to me?
As neither Zoro or Nami moved, I started walking towards them and unsheathed Bob.
Me: Well, in the end it doesn’t really matter does it? We both know the difference in power between us. This would be much easier if you guys give up… but I know that you aren’t that type of people. Am I right?
They stood there with their weapons towards me. Nami was shaking slightly. Understandable, she experienced my Conqueror’s Haki twice, she could probably feel it instinctively from me now.

Me: Relax, I’m not going to kill you. But I do have to do my duty as a Marine.
I then turned to Zoro who had all 3 of his swords drawn at me.
Me: I don’t see myself as a Swordsman. After all, I use all sorts of weapons, martial arts, and powers to fight. I see a sword more as a sword… but for you.
I held Bob in a backhand grip, same as my dad’s and faced Zoro
Me: No Devil Fruit and No Haki. I’ll face you with my ability with the Sword alone.
Zoro nodded his thanks before rushing at me. I could’ve side-stepped but I chose to face him head on. Using Soru, I rushed into his sword range before he was even halfway. I brought my sword down…painfully slow just so he would have a chance at blocking it.
*clang*
It took all three of his swords to block one of my strikes. This time, I switched my grip to forehand before raising my blade for another strike, aimed at his torso. This time, my strike was faster.
*clang*
He managed to stop me again but he was pushed back and his right leg, which failed to brace in time was bent in a strange position.
Me: I thought that the second strike would be able to break your defense completely. Alright, let’s try another one.
I rushed forward and jumped into the air to get more momentum and energy.
Zoro, however, thought that I would be immobile in the air; quite a mistake on his part after completing a fight against the CP 9 Units who should be able to perform Geppo; however, mine was different.
I flipped in the air and I kicked the air upwards, and myself down towards Zoro. In that short moment of solid footing with the air, I simultaneously used Soru. Instead of landing on my feet, I chose to swing first as to you all the force I can.
*CLANG* *crack…*
As our swords made contact, Zoro’s sword Yubashiri broke. The force which he received was felt on his chest and hands as he dropped the other two swords as well.

As Zoro sank to his knees and Nami looking at us in shock.
I sheathed my sword to show my win.
Zoro: You told me you wouldn’t use any Devil Fruit and Haki… yet I still lost. Tell me, were you still going easy on me?
Me: Yes… I was holding back.
Zoro: Was it because I was already injured and tired?
Me: No, it was because I wasn’t sure if the bridge could take the force.
Zoro: hahaha… is this truly the difference in strength? Tell me Vice Admiral, am I weak?
Me: You are, but you, like Straw Hat show great Potential.
Zoro’s torso started to bleed from the new cut he received and his arm was sprinkled with small cuts from his broken sword.
Zoro: Then… that is enough… for now.
With that, he fell unconscious.
Me: Well then Nami, do I have to fight you as well? Or will you take this guy here and run away? I recommend the latter. You know what is more important than honor don’t you?
Nami instantly understood what I meant.
When I looked around to the others, I found everyone finishing up their business with their own respective opponents. The Straw Hats were defeated… save except Robin and Nami who we didn’t fight.
As I sensed a small wooden something flowing under the Bridge, I simply grabbed Zoro by the hair and tossed him over the side.
Nami and Robin screamed…well more Nami than Robin, as they ran over to the edge…until they saw what I did.
Nami: The Going Merry… how is it here?
When she turned around to face me, I just shrugged at her.
Me: Perhaps it’s the love you had for the ship. You have a few seconds at most before your window of escape is gone.
Nami and Robin instantly understood the message. While Sis stopped the rest of the crew from interrupting (and made sure that all the other Marines and Spandam were still unconscious), Nami grabbed Chopper while Robin used her Devil fruit to summon dozens of arms to throw all the Straw Hats off the bridge.
Diana: Well then, I really hope we don’t meet again. Good luck to you and your crew.
Me: Same here, but I do hope we meet… just when we’re officially on vacation. Which I think I’ll ask for tomorrow.
Robin and Nami just nodded in thanks before jumping over the bridge and down onto the Going Merry, soon to sail far away and out of sight…with what was left of the Galley La ships behind them. Seriously. did they expect to be fine when they helped invade a Marine Headquarters?
Diana: Well, it looks like we have a lot of reporting to do for Sengoku… this is going to be a long talk ain’t it?
Me: At least we won’t have Garp after us. I’d hate to see someone from the Monkey family out to kill us.
Diana: That would be bad indeed… Alright then crew! Let’s go back. It’s time we report our part in all this and that fool’s misdeeds.
She pointed at the unmoving body of Spandam. He wasn’t dead… just hit a couple of times on his head against the stone of the bridge. From what I know about Anime Logic, he should be fine in a couple of hours.
I guess that’s that. We managed to prevent Enies Lobby into being blown up into nothing as well as turn it into a semi-victory for us. We can just tell Sengoku that the Straw Hats are talented at escaping. It’ll be close enough anyway.
With that, we started walking back towards the location of the Tower of Justice while we saw hundreds of Marines running towards us.
Sarah: This is going to take some explaining right…?
Diana: Nah, just let them run all the way to the end. I’m too lazy to explain what happened to these late fools.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
