AN: Skip this and read after the chapter. its long. But please pay attention to the "PPS" portion of these ANs please

Okay, first up, the reason I have been away: I graduated! Im a real adult now. So, ever since my graduation i have have a sort of crisis in which i am stressing about what im going to do in life. I never had a job, you see, and i feel im going to fail life. I have a interest though: I wanna be a translator/interpretor. But, i dont know any other language but english. So, i dont know, Im gonna self-study then see if i can get professional help with my chosen language. Im leaning towards korean or Japanese. My interests.

I think that sort of career would suit me. I have interest in the cultures ( well, i have interest in the novels they make at least. Well, i do have an actual interest in jap culture. Korean i know nothing of) and I am a good study. So, yeah. Wosrt case is i cant make it as a translator and i have to go work at some more generalized job that anyone can do!

...Yeah....

Anyway, enough of that.

So, the past few days I have been lazing about, unmotivated. No more daily objectives makes me sad...sigh. Anywho, Im stalking my classmates on Facebook now. And i nver used FB before. I dont even talk to my classmates much. Well, i didnt in school. I was a bit quiet, didnt intereact with them outside school. Ddnt go driving with them and whatnot, didnt even go on my senior trip. Despite all that, im well-liked by them, somehow. I did talk to them and made friends, dont get me wrong. I just kept my school life and personal life seperate. After the last bell rang, i didnt really do much with them.

But they liked me somehow. And im keeping in touch with them. Hell, even the last day a few kids picked me up for practice doing the ceremony, and again to drive me to school. Which surprised me and my parents. No one ever did that. They're good guys, the three who did that.

So, yeah, im "stalking" them now. I even like to post weird stuff on their walls when im bored. Like, not porn links, but odd or slightly disturbing youtube videos. All in good fun. I warned them all beforehand though and they're cool with it. Even find it amusing.

Ah,so that's what i've been doing. Im also going to my Niece Katrina's (may have told you about her before. May have called her a cousins. ) Promotion from 8th grade to 9th. She'll be a freshman! We live in different towns, so im going down to visit her and stuff.

I havent been in the writing mood recently but im back on track now! So, yeah, i will try to release more chapters, and at faster rates...not like i got much else to do these days...

But yeah, imma self-study, try to do what i want, and see if i can find a temperary job in the meantime. For what i want to do, i know that it wont be easy. But i aint got anything better to do! So im going to make a real effort at this. If it doesnt work out im still going to study the laguage i choose. I always wanted to read RAWs anyway.

So thats it.

"Look, this wasn't my fault!" Aries began. " She attacked me first, I was defending myself!" He asserted.

"Defending yourself against a young woman who wouldn't normally be able to take a single hit from a serious you?" Roland raised a brow in skepticism. He smiled.

Aries began to sweat a bit. " Hey, look, she's alive, right? Of course I wouldn't truly harm a woman, you know that! These are mere flesh wounds!"

"You could have stopped her without fighting, you know."

"I didn't want to, though. Hmph, me a War God, how can I just let a waif of a girl attack me without a bit of retalliation? That would make me a laughingstock. Besides, I held back. She would be much worse off if she were a man. Plus, I didn't hit her face. That would be a true shame. Look at her, how can I harm such a lovely work of art?" He asked, sneaking a glance at the woman in his arms and letting out a chuckle.

"...Disgusting...." Roland said.

"What?" Aries narrowed his eyes.

"You do realize how young she is compared to you, right?"

"So? Age truly is simply a number to people like us..." He sniffed.

" Maybe, but mentally speaking she's like a teenager. "

"Shut up. This ain't the body of a teen, you know." Aries looked pointedly at the girl's soft, impressive bulges.

" Well don't be getting any ideas. She's my student." Roland warned.

"She is? So you're a teacher now?" Aries asked, surprised. Damn, when did that happen, seriously..." But hey, I like this one, she's got spunk. I won't treat her like a mere momentary source of pleasure...unlike a certain someone..." Aries looked meaningfully at his friend.

"My agreeing to teach here was something that was due to a fair bit of boredom, circumstance and light-heartedness." Roland answered his friend's curiosity. "But nevermind that. I was never callous with any of the woman I was with in the past. And look here, just don't mess with her."

"...I make no promises." Aries said airily. He glanced at the girl again. She was certainly an attractive one....Pretty strong-willed too. Probably smart as well. A cool beauty.

Athena's like that too...

Aries shook the thought away. The hell did he think of her for?

"Anyway, hand her over and accept your punishment." His friend held up a hand.

Aries refused. " Nope, not gonna happen. Didn't do anything wrong. And I'll take her." He floated down without another word, not letting Roland have the chance to say or do anything. Truth be told, he didn't like the thought of putting her down. It felt too good having her lush body pressed against him.

When was the last time he wanted to hold onto a woman other than in the bed? He had trouble remembering.

Aries thought back to a human wife that he had many years back. When he was still relatively young. What was her name...? He searched him memory but couldnt recall. And the fact pained him, because he knew that he had loved that woman. And yet he didnt remember her name, or even her face.

Her voice... that voice that he knew had once brought him joy at its every rise and fall. Every small utterance had made him smile a bit, its soft, lilting cadence that spoke ever word as if they were secret things between only the two of them. The immeasurable care and warmth they contained that made Aries feel calm and at peace...He had forgotten exactly what it had sounded like. He knew what it made him feel, but other than that....

And there were others he loved after her, each one seeming special and unique to him. All of them were dead now. They were all mortal. Or at least not able to live as long as he. Generally speaking, mainly only gods, angels or demons from hell had nearly infinite lifespans. Other races had very long lives but there was a certain limit for them.

They could live for hundreds of thousands of years, hundreds of million, or sometimes even billions, but in the grand scheme of things gods and the other two races were longer lived to the extent that they no longer really paid attention to things like time. They may not seem like it, but the reason that they were not as "mature" as the other races is because they were all a bit unhinged due to that fact.

At least that is what Aries thought. To live so long was a curse, sometimes. Some lacked the will to live, but also lacked the true desire to die. So they didnt become the type of stuffy characters that other races did. Because that would be...well, boring.

Like Loki and Mercury, for example. It could be said that all beings like him, her and Aries were the way they are because they lived for so long. They couldn't stand becoming all uptight and such. To have eternal life yet not enjoy it, that would be a damn horrid way to live.

Going back, Aries thought of how jaded he had become in the course of his life. He didnt usually show it but things like love had long since become something he avoided due to the fact that he had more than enough experience to know how it would end. He would lose the person someday anyway, so there was no real point to it. After having that happen so many times he didnt think it was worth the pain it caused.

...And yet even as he thought that, he knew that is was a bit of a lie. He simply hadn't found anyone he wanted to be with despite the pain their leaving would bring...at least he hadn't found a person like that in more recent years. There was a few that he had liked, that he started a relationship with, but they didnt work out for one reason or another.

" Such a dark turn my thoughts have taken." He sighed and muttered.

Why did he think such things anyway? Right, the girl. Holding her was nice. And the hesitation of letting her go was somthing he hadn't felt in some time now. An idle thought that turned into this. His first wife, the subsequent lovers that he had fallen for. This girl made him recall them.

Maybe it was because she battled him like that, so fearlessly and without hesitation. Most women would be scared of him, would feel an inherent aversion to his aura of violence. So they mainly avoided any kind of fight with him. It was the ones who actually confronted him that interested him. Made him want them.

But whatever the case he had no intentions of persuing a relationship with this girl. Not a serious one, anyway. And not that he would play with her or any such thing: He had some morals, after all.

"Well, whatever happens, happens." He smiled wryly to himself.

When he got to the ground he spotted a pretty red-head staring at him with astonishment and not a little bit of unease. Understandable though.

Hmm, this one was quite a beauty too. Smooth, tender-looking skin with a healthy flush to her cheeks. A proud nose, a soft, well shaped chin and high cheekbones that gave the impression of noble birth. Long. slender legs and a pert buttocks along with two mountains that jutted from her chest as if made to simply seduce men. And her hair, which seemed as if every strand contained red fire,was mesmerising.

Such a shade, such a lustrous color, he couldn't say he had ever seen anything quite like it...

Yes, this was truly a good woman. Why was she here, though, as if waiting?

As he thought this, Roland came down behind him. The girl's eye lit up as his appearance, full of trust and calming down at his presence.

Ah, so that's it, Aries thought in sudden realization.

She was probably Roland's lover, no?

He smiled. Roland certainly did have luck with women. Always had.

Seeing the expression on the girl's face at Roland's arrival, Aries had already assumed they were a couple.

" Reina, dont worry." Roland said as he noticed the uncomfortable look on the girl. " This guy's a friend. Ah, but get back a bit." Roland then pried the girl from Aries' arms before he even realized it. When did he ....

She did as she was told. "Um, you're not going to do anything...extreme, right?" Reina called out in worry. She wasn't sure what amount of destruction he was truly capable of, but she didn't want to find out.

"No, I have to give this guy some discipline. Hmph, harming one of those under my care, I can't let that slide even if he is a friend."

"Wait, the hell do I have to recieve punishment for! I already told you that--"

Roland cut him off mercilessly, delivering a swift kick to his stomach.

"Ah" Aries let out a small, miserable sound of pain.

He coughed out blood, kneeling on the ground. " Fuck, what the hell, I wasn't prepared. Damn bastard, that could kill most ordinary Celestials, the hell you using so much strength for!" Aries coughed again. Had he had a second of warning, the attack wouldn't have felt so damn painful given his level of power. But this bastard, he just kicked him out of nowhere! Shameless!

Reina cringed. The attack made a small boom as it landed and her ears popped a bit. It let a small force of air blow that made her step back, and she felt a slight vibration in the air. Was that really a normal attack? She wasn't sure...

Aries held his abdomen. "Sonuvabitch, that's not gonna stop hurting anytime soon...Shit, what's with this. Here I am, here to make sure you and that damn Loki were okay, and you hit me. Damn, fuck this, next time you guys can just deal with problems yourselves!"

Roland looked at him with surprise. "Why did you think we weren't okay?"

" That call!" Aries exclaimed as if it were obvious. " You even understand how worried I was? I thought you two might have gotten into real trouble! Knowing you guys, I wouldnt have been surprised if Hades, Apophis, Ymir and an army of Dimme all banded together to mess up your pretty faces! But, even worse, I heard through the grapevine that Gehenna's here!!" He shouted at the end, clearly worried. Though his eyes did betray a certain eagerness. A restrained desire for conflict.

"You really assume the worst, dont you?" Nevermind the others, Roland might have his own hands full with dealing with a heavy hitter like Apophis...that thing was the embodiment of chaos, how could Roland kill or truly beat something like him? Though he had confidence in not dying, he wouldnt want to fight that guy if he could help it...Well, unless he was unbelievable bored.

Actually...that seemed like a fun idea, really.

"But don't worry, nothing's out of order here. Ah, and I wouldn't worry about that Gehenna..." Roland paused. Was that really the case? Gehenna seemed to have some grudge against Morrigan...she might try something later. But...so long as she didnt, Roland had no reason to chase her. Plus, if she was truly someone from his past...

Well, he didnt want to fight her. He somehow had reservations on doing so.

Aries stared. " So I was worried for nothing...? No no, that Gehenna is a real threat!" He insisted. " You dont know all the horrid things that bitch has done throughout her lifetime! Hell, even her own kind hates her guts. The only reason that she is tolerated is because Lucifer, that damn guy, is a bit respectful toward her for some insane reason. That woman is feared by, well, everyone! Even me!" Aries shivered.

Both in fright and excitement. He loved strong opponents. But that Gehenna...

Her crimes were the most numerous and heinous of almost anyone. A true killing machine that had no conscience, merely destroying all in her path.

Aries respected her strength, but as for the person herself he hated to the bone. And kind of wanted to fight. But still mainly disliked. She wasn't welcome anywhere. For good reason.

Roland disapproved of his friend's words. " I dont care. I have no reason to hate her, so I won't treat her as an enemy just yet. Anyway, Loki didnt call you to to ask for help, that bastard just wanted to let you know about me and Morr--" He stopped himself.

"Hmm? What? Morr? Who's Morr?" Aries tilted his head, looking questioningly at him.

"Ah...No, let's find Mephisto first....I assume you brought him too. This violent, dreadful energy can only be that guy's, afterall."

Aries' eyes brightened in rememberance. " Well damn, almost forgot about him. Yeah, lets's go. No telling what that man will get himself into. Oh, by the way, nice girl you got with you there. So, how long have you two been a thing?" Aries' eyes swerved to Reina.

She coughed awkwardly...seriously, why was everyone today assume she and Roland were....Is that what they appeared like?

"What?" Roland stared blankly. " Reina? No, we aren't together. Dont be ridiculous. " He said, causing Reina to flinch.

"You don't have to deny it that strongly. " She muttered, which Roland ignored.

"Why do you think we are? First that woman a while back, now you." Roland shook his head.

"You're not?" Aries looked between them doubtfully. Roland wasn't the dense sort...Was he reading too much into things then? This Reina may not even have feelings for him. Roland was the type of person that was seen as reliable to people who got to know him better, so she probably just felt a certain trust towards the man.

It's been so long since Aries had last felt the thing himself that he probably wasn't a good judge on the feelings of others. Ah, wait, when did the two of them meet? It probably wasnt that long ago...Was she an inhabitant of this world? Hm, for that matter, when did Roland arrive here?

Whatever. Roland would probably explain later.

He glanced at the girl who was currently unconscious in Roland arms. Damn bastard. He was totally taking advantage. Hmph, he just wanted to hold her himself, didnt he?

His eyes made a cursory sweep of the surroundings. That sword...it seemed to have disappeared. Was it bounded to her will? If it was then it probably wouldnt last to long with her sleeping like she was. It most likely got absorbed back into her body.

" Ah...that woman...by "that woman" I assume you mean Mercury?"

"Mercury, huh. Yeah, probably. She did feel familiar. I've heard of her but never met the woman." Roland mused,

" Was she a hot chick wearing a dark shirt, a tall frame and certifiably insane? If so then you would be right. So... what happened?" Aries hesitated to ask.

" She nearly raped me." He cocked a thumb towards Reina. " I think she wanted her to join in too. Or watch. Not certain. Anyway, she tried to jump me. Well, she was already straddling me. And her clothes were a bit ruined. But nothing happened. My body is still pure."

Reina blushed slightly as she remembered the encounter with the strange woman.

Aries looked at him almost in disbelief. " Fuck, all that and you have the gall to say nothing happened? Bullshit, what you just decribed is..." He groaned. " Man, Loki isnt gonna like this. That woman is...Roland, what the hell? This is just...ugh" He looked sickened. "This situation is so messed up...Roland, those two are practically the same person, kind of, so if you ever have that sort of relationship with her it's almost like you and Loki are--!!"

Roland delivered another kick to him, stopping the man's words.

He was knocked back several feet but stood up again instantly, not a hair out of place. "Ha, I was prepared that time."

"And I wasnt even trying just now. You're getting rusty, Aries. Knocked away so easily, some War God you are." Roland shook his head. ""Pathetic."

Aries sniffed in disdain. "If I were serious you know that I could still give you a damn scar or two."

This was true. If Aries really went all out then there was no way Roland could push him around like that. Roland was strong, but he couldnt suppress him to such an extent. He may be able to fight both Aries and Mephisto at once, but that wasnt exactly an easy thing to do....

Of course that would be the case. The last time the three fought without holding back it caused an entire realm within the Higher Planes to collapse in on itself....One of the reasons that Roland was well-known to the upper echelon of that place.

Thinking back, that was a large realm. Roughly one-third the size of Mephisto's domain. Good thing that place was a desolate landscape not many ever went to, else the three may have felt guilty destroying it....

" Well, lets just go look for M--"

"Hold it right there!"

A lovely, enraged voice echoed in the ears or Roland, Aries and Reina. Even Sara stirred in her sleep. But Aries had the most extreme reaction, looking dumbfounded as he heard the voice.

Roland turned and spotted Abigail rushing towards them with a dark look to her face. Roland felt the waves of anger rolling off the woman.

"You!" She pointed at Aries angrily. "Just what the hell do you think you're doing! Destroying school property, not to mention I saw you harming a student, who do think you are!"

Aries looked down at the auburn-haired young woman in surprise. Then he recovered and felt extreme indignation. "Hey, Abs, that wasn't my fault! And the girl attacked me fir--"

"Shut up!" her pleasant voice was a vicious snarl that made him stop in his tracks. " I dont care! You nearly gave some of the students heart attacks! Look at that, look at the mess you made! Dont think you can just come in here and do whatever you want! Damn rogue, you haven't changed at all!" Abigail looked fed up. "Come here, you're going to help rebuild everything that you destroyed by the end of the day!"

She began pulling at the cuff of his neck.

"Hey, Abs, what are--Let me go! I didnt do anything wrong! Hey, listen to--!"

He was dragged off.

Roland looked at the scene, amazed.

Those two, they obviously knew each other, but from where? Could she have had a relationship with Aries sometime in the past? Well, she knew Loki so it wouldn't be strange of her to have met Aries before. But for him to allow himself to be taken away like that...

Exactly what sort of relationship did they have then?

One of these days he would have to ask--

"Daddy!"

Roland was pulled from his thoughts and looked behind him, recognizing a certain sweet, high-pitched voice that was full of joy.

He was immediately assaulted by a small, white-haired girl whose doll-like face held tears running down her cheeks. As she jumped her arms locked around him and nearly nocked Roland off his feet, such was the force behind the movements.

As Sara was currently in her arms he had to hold her body a bit over the girl. Grace took no notice of the woman in his arms and merely buried her head into his chest, making his clothing slightly wet with the moisture gathered at her large sapphire-like eyes.

"Easy there, little one. What's the matter?" Roland asked, a wave of warmth and affection spreading through his heart.

Reian was even feeling surprising fondness for the young girl. Really. this kid...wasnt she just a tad too adorable?

"I thought...I thought that you might have disappeared...I thought that if me and mommy weren't by your side, that..."

Roland hurried to assure her. " Im not going anywhere, alright? Dont cry. How could I leave this adorable daughter of mine? You're stuck with me, got that?"

He stroked her back with his hand, trying to calm her down and make her at ease. "Hey, where's your m--"

"I'm here. This little rascal, she's fast." Morrigan appeared a bit aways from them, smiling. She came with a little, multi-tailed white fox that planted itself by Grace's feet and rubbed against the girl as a show of comfort. "As soon as she saw you she rushed to your side. Damn kid, her name doesnt suit her at all." She shook her head and let out a laugh.

"Morrigan..." Roland couldnt help but feel a certain...something...at her appearance. The name rolled off his tongue like a fine wine.

" Hmm..." Morrigan noticed Reina and the slumbering girl in Roland's arms.

"This isn't--" Roland tried to explain.

" No need." She cut him off a bit abruptly. She had suspected that he might have a lover or two...but to have this confirmed...She wasnt sure she was ready to share him after only just getting him back. Was there any woman who was truly fine knowing the one they loved had other women by his side?

But Roland, of course, wouldnt let things die like that. Such a misunderstanding had to be crushed before it could really take root. "No, don't jump to conclusions on your own like that. Look, this girl is injured, see? She's unconscious too. I know what you're thinking, but dont, nothing is going on betweeen me and her." He asserted.

Which reminded him, he should heal the girl soon...Although wounds from Aries were a damn pain to get rid of given the chaotic nature of his powers.

Morrigan looked towards Reina, the sad, hurt, but mainly cold, gaze making the other girl feel distinctly uncomfortable.

" Her either. " Roland added.

Grace then extracted herself from him at the words, seeming to notice the other two girls. She looked at Reina with a curious expression. " Daddy, that girl, she has our eyes. "She marveled. " Is she your daughter too? I have a sister?" The girl looked dazed, as if she suddenly had a stunning realization.

"Daughter? What..." Morrigan frowned. Why was Grace saying such weird things, that girl's eyes didnt look like her husband's at all...

"Me? His d-daughter? Im not! Definitely not!" Reina's head swam, instantly denying. Just what was this little girl saying all of a sudden?!

"Grace, what are you...?"

Roland frowned. Could she see through the illusion that he created around Reina to make her eyes look like normal?

"Dear, why is she saying that this girl is your--"

A large explosion was heard that drowned out whatever she was going to say. It was followed moments later by the smell of ash and burnt flesh.

Of course this was only picked up by Roland and Morrigan whose sense of smell was at their peak. Reina and Grace caught it too, but it was fainter. Reina still hadn't gotten used to this enhancement of her senses whereas Grace was a bit too young to match that of her mother and father's. Still, it was stronger than Reina's and she knew that something bad had occured.

The hairs on the little fox went stiff and her tails moved in a snake-like pattern as she became more alert. Something obviously spooked the thing.

"Since a while ago I have noticed these familiar energy patterns..." Morrigan suddenly commented. " Aries? And maybe...Mercury? But this one, who...? No, it seems like--!" She widened her eyes.

" Mephisto." Roland sighed. "Yeah, that guy, he probably got pissed off by some punk. The direction seems like the library. Damn. There's usually a good few people there. And it seems like someone annoyed him. Damn, this could get a bit troublesome to deal with"

Morrigan was worried. Mephistopheles, the Archdevil of Combat...That man wasn't known for his patience. The students here should know of him and his temperment fairly well though, so why would any of them provoke him?

For that matter, where were Mercury and Aries?

"Come on, lets stop him before he kills someone..." Roland paused. "Reina, Grace...Well, just stay behind us and you'll both be fine." He wasnt worried about their safety. With he and Morrigan here how was it possible for them to get hurt?

"My good borther, did you miss me? Come here, give your dearest "Sister" a hug~!" Mercury gushed as she appeared in his office.

Loki was just about to crack the 450th seal on that blasted bead when she showed up and his momentary distraction maded his hand slip. He was so engrossed in the work that he hadnt even noticed the portal outside or anything else.

He quickly erected a strong barrier around the bead a split second before it made a explosion. The barrier cracked.

Loki stood up angrily. "Fuck, woman, what the hell do you think you're doing!"

Mercury pouted. "What, I didnt do anything wrong!" She peered at the thing he was working on. " Oooh, that looks interesting! Let me see!" She made a grab for it.

"Go to hell." He snatched it and made the bead disappear. " What are you doing here?"

"Oh! Shit, that's right! Where's Fenris?! We have to go! Gehenna's here!" Her eyes went wide. She looked for her daughter.

"Yeah, I know. I'm the one who reported her appearance here. Damn, word spread fast!" He shook his head in wonder.

"You knew!" She spluttered. " Then did you already send her away? Oh, great. What a relief~!" She sighed.

"Ah, no, she's around here somewhere..." He faltered under her cold gaze.

"She's what!" She yelled. " Idiot, you know how dangerous that woman is and yet you let our daughter wander about while that thing is-! "

"Meh, dont worry about it. I got a friend here, you see. With the two of us that Gehenna won't be too much of a problem."

"Damn idiot. I can't believe that you..."She sighed. "Well fine. Whatever. When I find her i'm taking Fenris back with me. I won't allow her to be on the same planet as that psychopath."

" It's fine, we were all planning on going to the Higher Planes soon anyway. Probably by today. If Gehenna shows up, me and Roland could probably take her." On the subject, he remebered that she wasnt acting like herself that day. Roland should have attacked her, but she didnt respond to the provacation. That was odd for her. He wondered what that woman was up to.

If she didnt come back for revenge by now she must have something up her sleeve.

Not that he was worried all that much. Hmph, he could handle anything she threw at him. He even had Roland here to back him up, why would he be scared?

That guy whose OPness wasn't something to underestimate, he was a reliable one.

" Ah, Roland? Yeah, I met him a bit ago. Ufufufu~" She laughed. " I admit he seems strong. But I won't take any chances here. I'll remain here and make sure Fenris is okay."

"You...met him?" Loki asked cautiously.

"Oh, yeah. Just got back from him, actually. " She made a low whistle. " That man, damn, that is one fine piece of-"

"Stop!" Loki shouted. "Not another word!"
