Kai: So… what you're telling me is that he was actually Vincent? Takeo, what the heck happened on that mission?

Takeo: Yeah, the girls confirmed it themselves. Right now they should, be visiting Klaud in whatever place Vincent has her stored in. They said they'd be back tomorrow morning.

Kai: Alright, but like I asked, what the heck happened on that mission?

Takeo: Well you see… blah… blah… blah…he's a total badass... blah... and that's what happened.

Kai: ...I'm sorry for your loss. He was a fine exorcist, that brother of yours. A little worldly, but still a good person nonetheless. Let his soul rest in peace.

Takeo: ...Thank you. Don't worry though, we were both prepared when we trained to become exorcists. I'll be sure to finish what we started.

Kai: *sigh* Well it's good you're not too down in the dumps about it. Alright, go get some sleep, you deserve it.

Takeo: Goodnight, sir.

POV shift

Ezra: So, you finally decided to let me meet the others, huh? Nice to meet you, my name’s Ezra, thank you for taking such good care of my husband.

Alex/Lenalee/Klaud: Ho~*glare*

Vincent: (Why does she have to act so understanding when it's just us and then so Yandere whenever she feels threatened… Pick a character already woman!!!) *cough* So, I've brought you guys in here to show you that Klaud’s alright, just like I promised you. And I even showed you that I am really Vincent by turning back to my normal form.

Alex: Alright, but I think we'd all like to know who your friend right here is.

Klaud: I’d actually like a more in-depth explanation on what is happening since I was unconscious for a while.

Vincent: *sigh* Alright, fair enough. I'll explain everything.

And so, Vincent was made to undergo his most challenging task yet. Explaining his situation to his 3 potential harem members in a way that wouldn't freak them out and/or make them pissed at him. Needless to say, he failed pretty badly. Also, Ezra and her constant commentary didn't help much either. In fact, she was what they were most pissed off about. Though the 3 females had, miraculously, come to an understanding with one another, that only applied to the 3 of them. They hadn't yet thought about what if Vincent made other females fall for him. To prevent that from happening, they had made sure to chase off any female that had dared to come close to him. But now? Now, they had been shown that all their efforts were for naught since Vincent had already had someone way before he met them. They hadnt done anything to him yet, but their alightly homicidal gazes made Vincent shudder.

The current situation was pretty undesirable for Vincent. The only consolation was that Alex was the only one feeling a little bit strange to be crushing on an older male. This was moat likely because Klaud had a crazy obsession with Vincent while Lenalee was still too young to understand such matters. Alex was pretty much the only normal heroine out of the group. The weird thing was that they didn't really react much to Vincent telling them that their world was based on fiction. They only seemed a bit puzzled but didn't really pay much attention to the topic. In fact, as far as Vincent could tell, Lau was the only one who was interested in the matter.

Vincent: *cough* So, I'll just let you guys digest what you've been told. I'll just be over there getting some new stuff to better our chances in the fight against the Earl and the No-

Alex: You're not getting away that easily.

Lenalee: Vince-niichan, I want cool powers too! Help me get stronger!

Klaud: ...Actually, I've been wanting to ask you for a little while, but I’ve been feeling a bit strange, like I can sense something off about me…

Vincent: ? Spatial farm, please scan her.

System: Scanning in process: 1% 2% 3%...100% Scan complete.

Vincent: Is there anything foreign in her besides faith energy?

System: Scan results show that “soul energy” is present in humanoid Klaud’s body.

Vincent: ...Oops.

Klaud: Oops?

Vincent: I didn't think It’d affect you when I did that… Maybe I accidentally let some of it go into your body alongside the faith energy…

Klaud: So what exactly is inside of me?

Vincent: It's one of the energies I mentioned to you guys, soul energy. It's what makes up the sword I use. It also let's me do things like see souls.

Klaud: So I'm going to be seeing souls from now on?

Vincent: You shouldn't see them all the time, only when you learn to activate your soul energy and wield it. Oh well, since you've already got access to soul energy, might as well get you the weapon to go with it.

Vincent then proceeded to buy Klaud the C-tier shinigami mutation for 4500 points (Klaud having soul energy lowered the cost) so she could start training in the ways of a shinigami. He planned to later teach her how to go into her inner world, but he decided to save that for later on.

Lenalee: Vince-niichan, can you I use soul energy too?

Vincent: I would give you it if there weren't any repercussions in doing so. It turns out that giving Klaud access to it without paying points made it so that I permanently lost some soul energy. I just thought I hadn't recovered yet, but if I gave some of it up to give soul energy to Klaud, then I guess it makes sense. I can still buy it for you, but you should get something else, don't you think?

Lenalee: Okay, then what do you think I should get?

Vincent: Well, I think you should just work with what you have so far. I can have the system tweak your innocence a little so that you'll have a better resonance with it. I'll explain more of the details to you later.

Lenalee: Alright, I trust you Vince-niichan. (Yes, I'm finally gonna be strong enough to protect everyone.) *giggle*

Alex: And what about me. Should I do the same?

Vincent: Well, you're already pretty well connected to your innocence. I believe getting you something else would be for the best. Oh! But before that, let's get you guys contracted. That is, if you guys want to.

Alex: You mean the one you did with Klaud? Sure, I'm fine with it.

Lenalee: Yay! So with it, I get to stay with Vince-niichan forever?

Vincent: Yup, though I'll have to keep going to other places, you'll still see me almost every single day, maybe 24/7 if I get something... Anyway, let's not waste anymore time. (Was that really the entire conversation I had been stressing about for months...)

After spending another 20,000 points on contracting Alex and Lenalee, Vincent had 57,179 points left.

Vincent: Alright Alex, you already have plenty of firepower, so what exactly do you want?

Alex: Hmm...oh yeah, what exactly can she do?

After being in deep thought for a little while, Alex finally asked a question while pointing at Ezra who was busy harvesting the Senzu beans and other crops.

Vincent: Oh, I got her magic that let's her summon equipment.

Alex: So she's a knight… Okay, then I want magic too. You said I'm already strong enough physically, so why not giving me magic?

Vincent: Magician? I guess there are certain types. What exactly do you want when you say that?

Alex: Hmm… I've seen you control metal, plants, and lightning, so what else can you do?

Vincent: Elemental-wise, I can control metal, earth, water, fire, wind, lightning, ice, wood, magma, mud, and any other combinations between those elements pretty much except I have limited strength when it comes to them.

Alex: Hmm… can you give me something to do with the mind? Like reading the future or something? That way I could always be prepared for what's going to happen when I'm fighting, So I'll have time to prepare.

Vincent: Hmm… Oh, I know just the thing.

Foresight Eyes

Origin: Mushoku Tensei

Description: One of the 12 demonic eyes, it allows the user to peer into the possible futures. It is difficult to control, but is good for predicting the near future. Only goes into one eye to allow for better stability with the present vision.

Cost: 7,000 C-points

After buying it, swirls of darkness appeared next to Alex and they flew into her right eye. When the last of it went inside, Alex clutched the side of her head and complained about it being really itchy. Vincent just patted her on the head the whole time since he couldn't really do anything about the itch.

After about a minute, Alex removed her hand and opened her right eye. It no longer had her purplish-blue colored pupils, it was now green with swirls appearing in it.

Alex: Wow… this is pretty disorienting. This'll take some getting used to…

Vincent: Alright, you can test it out against Klaud and the others later on, but for now, I think we should go and get some rest. *yawn* This body still isn't fully healed and I'm mentally exhausted.

Lenalee: Hey, Vince-niichan, why aren't Ezra-nee and Klaud-nee sleeping with us tonight?

Vincent: Oh, they’re busy testing out their new moves. They said they wanted to spar against each other.

Alex: Aren't they tired?

Vincent: Don't worry, I have shadow clones helping them out and ready to act if anything happens…(I am so glad I got that enhancement...)

Mike was having quite the party. Now that he could show Klaud his adult form, he didn't have to worry about holding back his lust for her. He was a bit worried that Klaud might be against, but it seems that as long as she knew he was Vincent, she was fine with him. Also, it seemed that Vincent might have trained with her a little too much... Regardless, Vincent was still extremely happy to oblige. Vincent had read stores about ancient beings getting sick of doing the deed, but to that he would say bullsh*t. He was 100% confident his sexuality drive would always be as insatiable as it was now...

And so, the 20 something Virgin Klaud finally lost her title to our protagonist. It was your stereotypical “happy ending”, except the story wasn't over just yet and there was another woman there enjoying herself as well. It was still a pretty "happy" time though...

POV shift…

?: Sir, our troops are ready and gathered. We can begin the invasion at any time.

??: Soon, don't be so impatient. Our time to shine will soon be here. We don't want to lose any more family, right?

?: Yes sire, I will make sure this operation is carried out as smooth as possible…

??: Hahaha, then I'll leave it to you. I'll be expecting extremely positive results. Also, try not to be so uptight all the time.

In a city full of white colored buildings were a grey-skinned female and a fat man with an extremely demonic smile on his face. The words they exchanged may have sounded a bit cryptic, but nonetheless, one would have felt a sense of foreboding if they heard it. The time for the story's climax was slowly drawing near as the the countdown between the final battle continued to tick...
