I didn't even felt nine months passing, being inside the womb while conscious it's not that different from sleeping; there were times when I woke up, but I couldn't muster enough strength or awareness to do anything other than listen to my mother's and sister's beating heart and go back to sleep.

The day of our birth I came out before my sister, luckily I'll not have to call her onee-chan; it would have been too embarrassing to call her that considering that it will be my job to protect her.

Looking around, I found my mother on a luxurious bed, the strange thing is: she has pointed ears... if my memory from the little amount of books that I read isn't wrong, then I'd say she's an elf.

Shortly after me, my new sister was born, though... how can she sleep even at this moment? As she wasn't even opening her eyes, the midwife gave her a slap on the butt.

As I woke up, I found out that I could open my eyes, it seems that I have finally been born! Though when it happened and why my butt feels sore?
