《Sage Fall》Status Update

So this has been a long time coming, which any of you that bother to still check on this will attest to. Not gonna lie though, it still isn't at 100% of where I would like to be emotionally or motivationally, but it is better than it used to be.

The story you'll read on RRL is about vengeance and how Amrin is always angry. The one on my site is more laid back by comparison, where Amrin just doesn't want to find the others and is not hell bent on revenge. But "fate", for lack of a better word, has other plans. Word of warning though, for anyone that thought it was slow before, I can't help but feel what I've written now, may potentially be even slower. But that's just how it is I guess. Take it or leave it.

Due to the new direction, there are a number of new characters, some characters have been relegated to "forgettable" status, while others are more prominent now. But I am aware that because of this change, some may not like it anymore. It is also due to this new direction that it will not be uploaded to RRL since the newer chapters will just be a giant confusing mess from the ones that are already uploaded. It will also make any of the ratings and comments that already exist not make sense if I just update all existing chapters to the rewritten ones. And making a new listing would require me to think of a new title...and I hate thinking up names. It especially makes it more difficult since the URLs i have are all utilizing the current title.

Now before anyone cries foul about how I'm redirecting people from this site to my own for clicks or adrevenue...just stop. My site has no adsense, no ads (that I know of since I use uBlock) and no way for me to gain any form of revenue. So that is most definitely not the case.

There's a few reasons why I'm dedicating all future chapters to my site, really. One is because I will not have any "set" release schedule, and there is now no way to have a rating on it and no way to give me some sense of failure if it ends up in the deepest darkest depths of popularity rankings. There is still a way to comment on each chapter and the story as a whole through the Discussion link on the main page, but that is only to discuss or ask questions, really. Its a big deal man...petty, sure. But a big deal. Anxiety is a bitch. So without all of those things, I am just writing to get the ideas out of my head and some semblance of enjoyment.

Well, that's my update for what's going on with this story. Like I said, I'll keep it going, but I can't promise I'll keep it going quickly. I'll try, and I do mean try, to upload a new chapter once a week of at least 5K words per chapter. But please don't hold me to that.

So!...if you want to read what I have changed and what is new with Sage Fall, go ahead and drop by. I promise it won't be the most boring thing you'll ever do. Ok...well I can't promise that, but I really hope that there are more boring things out there.
