《The Strongest Slime》Chapter 4 day 39 continued : F the Honey

Chapter 4 Day 39 continued
I stared up at the beehive determined to end it all today, one way or another that honey would be mine. Seeing as how the bees were still oblivious to my presence I quickly activated the first phase of my brilliant plan.
I carefully threw one of the shorter horns that I had collected at the beehive. Just as it was about to impale the magnificent kingdom of sweetness, the horn was deflected by a bee.
As the deflected horn hit the ground thousands upon thousands of bees exited the hive and began to charge at me. ‘Okay everything’s going according to plan, time to initiate phase two’ I began to shift around the shape of my slime body pulling together the armored plates that had been randomly scattered across me.
The plates began to move and squeeze together until they formed a giant metal ball with me in the center holding them together. I opened up four small slots as to allow my tentacles to move. After rigorous training I was now able to control up to four tentacles, I could also see whatever my tentacles saw. These four tentacles were equipped with the sharpest of the Rabbit horns in my collection.
The Bees began their attack focusing on both my shell and my tentacles. My tentacles weaved through the bees never ending onslaught, dodging stinger after stinger all while countering with attacks of their own whenever an opportunity was provided.
A large swarm of bees charged forward and fiercely planted their stingers onto the outer layer of my shell, right after their kamikaze attack their shells lost their luster as their bodies fell to the ground, but my armor had managed to come out with only the slightest bit of visible damage.
My mighty spears of destruction (AKA Tentacles with Rabbit horns) impaled countless victims all while maneuvering amongst the storm of stingers that targeted them.
The battle progressed for over and yet neither I nor the bees could gain an advantage, or so I had thought. As the battle progressed even further I began to notice a change in my armored shell. Wherever the bees injected their stingers my shell would slightly grow. I had originally planned to make this a battle of attrition, I had no idea the bees had an ability like this.
Hours after the start of the battle the weight of my shell had gotten to the point that it was now slowly crushing me. Don’t misunderstand, I had dedicated a lot of time to raising my strength but the shell as it was right now was four times its normal weight. Damn, Guess I have no other choice, Self Destruct!
Not really, I didn't explode but I did propel the shell fragments with enough force to crush any bees that were either too slow or simply unfortunate enough to get hit. With my only form of defense gone the bees didn't hesitate to rush at me.
Just as the storms of bees were about to crash into me there was a bizarre sound. A high pitched shriek tore through the air and the bees froze in their spots. The air was silent as the bees just stared at me; the weird thing was that I just stared back. Something within me was screaming ‘DANGER!’ and kept me from making a move.
My body tensed up as I saw a small figure exit the hive. It was a young woman around twenty years old. Her face seemed to lack life as it was impossibly pale, and yet the absence of a single blemish combined with her cold expression made her strangely beautiful.

The gorgeous young woman was about twice the size of the rest of the bees but she was still relatively small compared to me. As she descended from the hive her gold and black dress fluttered in the wind teasingly exposing tiny segments of her perfect figure ‘little more, just a little more’ I tried looking at different angles but I couldn't get a better look.
I wasn't doing anything perverted *Cough* all I wanted to do was scout the enemy ahead of time. Whoever this woman was she would have been a top class model back in my old world, her waist was fairly thin in contrast to her ample chest and legs. She looked around at the bees for a few moments.
Her curly blonde hair swayed as she turned to face me. She stared dead at me and made some more weird noises “@#[email protected]%@ $%$^”. It appeared that she was trying to communicate with me but all I could do was stare back at her.
As I continued staring at her she then began making some more weird noises “#$%^^%$ #$%#@” she then raised her hand and shot out a blinding light at me. It all happened so fast, I didn't have any time to react. The light hit me but just as I was preparing myself to endure the force of the attack nothing happened, then a window appeared.
You have been bestowed the following blessing: Language Mastery
Suddenly the girl spoke
Beautiful Girl:“Thou should be able to understand my words now correct?”
I nodded in response
Beautiful Girl:“Art thou touched in thy head? Why does thou not respond with words?”
Her attitude angered me to the point of shouting
“You think I enjoy being mute!”
but instead of the normal bubbling sound I had grown accustomed to hearing I heard words. That can’t be. Did I actually speak just now? Does it have something to do with the blessing I just got? The voice was different than the one I had before because it was slightly higher pitched but those were the words I wanted to say.
I almost forgot about my current predicament until the young woman started talking again.
Bee Queen:“I am the queen of this hive. Thus I must inquire why thou hath disturbed our peace.”
I calmly pointed at the hive and responded
“I want some of your honey.”
The Queen’s cold and serene expression was immediately destroyed and replaced with a furious snarl
Queen Bee:“Another fool chasing after the power of our honey! You shall meet your end!”
The Queen pulled out her sword from a pitch black sheath that looked exactly like a bee stinger and charged at me with the company of the other bees. I quickly began negotiating like a used car salesmen that had just upset a violent customer
Just a few jars will do!. No!? How about just one jar!? Not even a few drops!?”
But the Queen ignored my pleading and continued charging. I searched my mind for a way out scrambling for a single thought of how to survive. Then it came to me. I chuckled in my head ‘Hehehe think you can kill me so easily’ I shouted
“Wait! You can’t kill me like this!”
The Queen stopped and commanded the rest of the bees to a halt
Bee Queen:“And why is that?”
I answered
“As a queen, would it not be dishonorable and beneath you to use such large numbers for a single opponent?”
The snarl disappeared from the Queen’s face as she began to ponder the meaning behind my words.

Bee Queen:“Very well, I alone am enough to end the sorry existence of a mongrel such as thou”
‘Now that it is one on one let us see how long you can keep up that arrogant attitude’ just as I was readying my spears( Tentacles with horns) my vision flipped. I wondered to myself ‘why are the clouds on the ground’ I saw my own body a few feet away and then I saw the Queen about to impale my head with her sword!
“Wait!”
I shouted as the Queen swung her blade downward. The blade stopped an inch away from my face.
Bee Queen:“what now?”
The Queen had an annoyed expression. I grabbed my head with my tentacles and reattached it to my body. Did she chop my head off in less than a second? Dammit why did I have to meet such a monster!? I had to do something quick otherwise I am as good as dead.
“The disparity in our power is too great, it would be unfair to fight me without giving me a handicap.”
Bee Queen:“What does thou suggest?”
“Give me three minutes. For three minutes you will only be allowed to defend. If I can land a single strike within those three minutes then it is my victory. If after those three minutes pass and I have yet to land a single strike then you can just kill me.”
I finished my proposal to the Queen and stared at her in hopes that she would agree to my request.
Bee Queen:“Very well, however, there shall be no more interruptions and you cannot request for more conditions.”
As the Queen descended she stabbed her sword into ground and motioned for me to begin my attack. ‘Bitch, you think you are better than me just because you can kill me in the blink of an eye’ I raised my tentacles and began my assault.
I first fired all the spare horns I had, leaving me with only 2 for close combat purposes. The Queen easily dodged them as a series of thuds indicated that they had hit the hive tree.
Bee Queen:“What a useless move. All thou hast accomplished is disarming thyself.”
I then engaged the Queen in close combat. My two tentacles attack from every angle at a furious pace. But the Queen merely stood there parrying the incoming strikes with her bare hands.
‘how can such delicate looking hands be so fearsome?’ I wondered to myself as I continued to clash head to head with the Queen. Time slowly passed with each second feeling like an hour.
Finally as the Queen grabbed one of my tentacles, a cruel smile formed on her face
Bee Queen:“Looks like thou hath run out of time”.
She generated a shock wave that obliterated the tentacle she was holding and sent me flying a few feet. My vision slowly stabilized as I recovered from the shock and the first thing I saw was the Queen as she pulled her blade out of the ground and slowly made her way towards me.
Each step she took reverberated with a dreadful thump. As she stood in front of me she raised her sword and stared at me as though I was nothing but a nuisance. She swung her sword down at full force creating a whizzing sound through the air.
But just as the blade was about to make contact the sound of a twig snapping stole her attention. She turned around and saw what appeared to be her hive walking away on eight green tentacles.
Bee Queen:“What in the wor-!”
But before she could complete stating her outrage, I took the opportunity to smack her as hard as I could with me tentacle. With her guard down it was impossible to react much less block my attack.
She was sent flying through the bushes as I made a mad dash towards the hive. I stretched my body into a thin layer of slime as I engulfed the hive.
I began rolling away with the large hive at the center of my body and jumped into the river. Hahaha everything had gone according to my impromptu plan. The first horns I shot out were actually hollowed out and filled with some of my slime.
I never intended to hit the Queen that attack was simply so that my slime could get close to the hive without drawing any attention. Some people may call me a “cheater” or a “liar” but I don’t think that there was anything wrong with my method.
In the first place it is the Queen’s fault for not fully understanding the rules. I never said I had to land a strike on her. I landed “a single strike” on the hive which she failed to “defend” so it is clearly her lose. Now to enjoy the spoils of war.
. I began digesting the hive as I rode the river current. The flavor was like nothing known to man in my previous world. The sweetness was deep powerful without being overbearing. Just as I was immersing myself in the wonderfulness of the honey and analyzing its irresistible taste, my body began to feel weird.
My body grew hot as each and every cell felt like it was vibrating at a crazy speed. Despite being in the cool river my body began to boil as bubbles of heat began to emerge from all over. ‘ the honey, it must be the honey’ I tried to detach from the hive but the stickiness of the honey was keeping bound to it.
Ahhhh! I moaned in pain as the torture had yet to end. I was already washed ashore as I was unable to leave the river when I was near my home. The pain had forced me to be carried by the river until I finally arrived at the end.
. It was night now and the pain still had yet to subside. Ahhhh! The pain level spiked and I began to feel the liquid in my stretch and pull against itself. Just as I was staring at the moon praying to my so called Patron Goddess, a window popped up
Evolution is being forced in order to alleviate some of the impossibly large amounts of Life Essence
I couldn't even form a response as I blacked out soon after.
Authors Notes:Hi guys Kijo here. I wanted to apologize again for the long wait time. As I said before I will try to keep a chapter a week schedule but there are sometimes where I just can't. Anyways the main reason it took awhile for this chapter to come out was that I spend a lot of time revising it. I had gotten a comment on the other website where I post this asking me not to skip days. So i ended up changing this entire chapter so that it would be 1 day. but then I realized that I hadn't gotten any comments on here about it. So I was wondering how you guys felt about my time skips. I could write about every single day but that wouldn't really be that realistic because no one has a life where every day is interesting, not even Heroes :). Also to make up for my long update time I made this chapter a little longer than usual and there will be a special sidestory up this weekend :) Thanks for following for another chapter, please rate and comment as your support and interaction is what helps motivates me to write . See you all next time. :)

They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
