While i have not recently gotten any complaints or had any more 2.5 reviews, i still feel as if you guys might think im missing some things. So im gonna adress what you may feel im missing.
Charcter development and knowledge.
As i said before, this story is almost entirely from DoriansPOV with the occasional 3rd person POV.
Dorian only just recently got truly accepted into the group.
Idk about you guys, but i dont go around telling my life story to someone i just met. It takes about 5 to 6 months to truly trust someone as a friend and talk feelings with them. And even then in silent most od the time when it comes to the feels.
Now take a person who is in a spec ops group in the military. Very obviously they would be hard pressed to share their story and feelings.
The only reason why Lilith told Dorian her story is due to the fact that Dorian and her click together personality wise and they have a connection.
With Dagothur and Aronithia, itll take a longer time to gain that sort of trust. Much longer than the 2-3 months Dorian has known them.
....
Also in regards to Dorians use of the three energies he has control of.
Ive explained this before, but while may know the molecular composition of an element, and while he may know how an energy gets tied into that element, he doesnt know how the energy can be used to manipulate said element.
In an earlier chapter, Dorian said that he tried to learn how to use Force Lightning but failed. He said this is due to him not knowing how to get the force to ionize the air and control it in a way to make lighting. So for a while, until the school year starts, he will be using the enhancments and brute force that ki, mana, and the Force provide.
......
..........
I cant think of anything else to adress....
let me know what else i missed in the comments. Helpfull input is appreciated.
