Chapter 14 – 86th floor

The 86th floor of the dungeon called The Labyrinth of Haford, a place one can only described as the gates of Hell. Dark and cloudy skies, dried lifeless ground filled with monster’s remains. A land with almost nothing but volcanoes and lava, this floor were filled with different kinds of horrifying monsters and demons.

Loud roars and cry filled the air, blood and flesh were scattered all around the place, and the once chaotic place was stirred up and became much worse than before. Monsters who roamed on this floor suddenly changed their hostility to one another, and now they were running on a group. Running from one monster, it was a savage monster that came from the upper floor.

When it first stepped on the 86th floor demons started to attack the black monster. But they all got torn apart with its sharp claws, from seeing a powerful monster; the demons start to gang up on the monster. The demons pride is just simple, be on the top to become the strongest. And because the Demon Lord Haford who created this dungeon had died from a very old age, demons start to challenge other demons on who should be the next Demon Lord. Demons started to rebel and the Dungeon was starting to fall apart, or will it be?

MC's POV

*Kill!* *Kill* *KILL!!!!*

“HAHAHAHA!! You guys ambushed me when I just got to this floor, and now you’re all running from me!”

Using my [Lightning Clad Armor] which is now at level 2 and gaining 20% of speed and power, I dash to the demons and slash then using my claws and tail, while attacking with lightning magic at the same time.

*KUA!!* *UUGGGHHH!!* *KAAA!*

Hearing their dying cry, I lay to the bloody ground.

*pant* *pant*

“I don’t know what’s happening to this fucking floor, but this is fucking hell, it’s so hot in here.”

I was expecting to go down to a staircase or something but this dungeon was advance. The entrance to this floor was a portal, and when I got here a demon with six muscular arms attacked me all of a sudden. I got surprised and scared; my body moved on its own and slashed the demon in half. After that different demons start to attack me, I can’t describe them all, but its only 3 words Ugly Ass Demons.

So thirsty from the fight, I start to drink one of the demons blood. I don’t expect that there will be any water here, because I’m surrounded with volcanoes. *why the hell does the one who build this dungeon so very demonic, I can’t even understand if the sky here is real or not. Is it like an artificial atmosphere or something, he must be powerful to do that.*

Even if I don’t like to eat these demons, I don’t have any choice. *I wish there are some demon like, demonic chicken or much more pleasant looking. Sigh* let’s just start the feast.

In an old castle where the entrance to the next floor was located, a large beast can be seen lying on the stone floor. A huge hairless dog with three heads was quietly sleeping.

*kii* *kii*

A demon like bat lands on the old stone floor in front of the large beast; it bowed down to give respect.

“Master! Master! There’s a huge problem!!”

*GRRRRR!!!*

“Didn’t I tell you not to wake me up!!!”

*ikkk*

“I’m very sorry master, but please hear me out.”

The large monster opened its eyes from one of its head, white soulless eyes that glared to the small demon while opening its drooling mouth and flashing its sharp teeth.

*psss* *psss*

Its saliva was so hot the stone beneath its mouth got burned.

“It better be worth listening, or else you will end up at my belly. GGGRRRR!!”

“I-I’m very sorry, but the soldiers you sent to kill the rebelling weak demons were all annihilated without lasting for half a day.”

The other two heads of the large beast opened their eyes, and anger can be seen from those faces. Its body starts to crack like the dried ground as steam of heat escapes from it, the steam got hotter and burst into flames. The large beast stood up and its body suddenly becomes hot burning lava.

“TELL ME THAT, WHAT YOU SAID WAS WRONG! THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE; THEY ARE MY ELITE DEMON SOLDIERS.”

“W-what I said was correct. . Your soldiers were running from a monster that came from the upper floor. Th-they were also screaming for mercy.”

The floor around the small demon suddenly becomes hot lava; the beast’s eyes were now flaming red as it cannot understand how a weak monster from the upper killed its soldier.

“YOU MUST HAVE MISTAKEN, MY DEMON SOLDIERS WILL NOT CRY FOR MERCY, DEMONS WON’T THROW AWAY THEIR PRIDE FOR MERCY.”

“B-but it was true they. . .”the small demon was cut off when it felt a strong killing intent from its master.

“pl-please master, I’m sorry!”

“ONLY WEAK DEMONS LIKE YOU WILL THROW AWAY HIS PRIDE FOR MERCY, NOW GO AND COMMAND EVERY LAST DEMON IN THIS FLOOR TO HUNT THAT MONSTER AND ALL OF THE REBELLING DEMONS, BEFORE I KILL YOU!!”

“y-y-yes Master Cerberus!!”

The small demon quickly flew away for its life and to inform all the loyal demons to hunt the monster that came from the upper floor. The Cerberus was starting to think about what kind of monster came from the upper floor, but it cannot think of any that can kill the boss of the upper floor, nor even kill a weak demon.

MC's POV

I was in the middle of eaten when suddenly a red flashing light came from my neck; it was the seed that I got from killing the boss. Most of the bloods from the demons were now absorbed by the seed. I was expecting something to happen like sprouting a small leaf, but maybe the blood was insufficient for it to grow. *maybe it needs sun light?* I didn’t have any bad feeling about the seed so I continued to eat the remaining corpses.

After eating I decided to find some place to rest, but this floor was so hot it was unbearable to even sleep for a minute. *I wish my adaptability skill will give me some heat resistance or something. I’m about to get dehydrated if I stay in this floor for another hour.*

[Warning!]

The same time as my threat sentient gave me a notification, the land was shaking a little.* I thought, a volcano was about to erupt.* Because the terrain were full of volcanoes, but from a distance I can see a large group of demons, there are even giants as tall as three story building, and winged demons.

“hmmmm, is that what I think it is? Dragons? Ha Haha Hahaha!! I’m so lucky, if I get more dragon blood, I may evolved to a full blooded dragon ^^.”

I have a full stamina and mana, so I don’t have any problems when fighting these monsters. I used [Lightning Clad Armor] and dashed towards the incoming horde of demons.

The bat demon was leading the attack. From its back were different kinds of demon, the colossal demon – an ogre species of monster that evolved into a demonic monster, they are two headed monster with mammoth like tusk as large as their horns. Mad ape - a large demonic monster that’s half the size of the colossal demon, with a hot red burning fur, muscular arms with bones like scales from both arms, lacking in speed but compensated with power and defense. Gorath – a goat like dragon that’s stands on two legs, scales cover all parts of its body and large dragon wings that has the power to create tornados. Fire Bringer – a demon with human like body, its head had no face, only four large eyes and a skull which grows two large horns on both sides that looks similar to a scythe’s blade. The monster was carrying a large scythe which was burning red hot that can easily make anything into ashes.

This was only to name a few demons from the group. The bat demon was thinking that it was too much to bring this quantity of demons just to kill a single monster. But that monster killed the elite soldier of the Cerberus.

“Kiii Kiii, Demons don’t really show any mercy.” The bat demon mutters to itself.

The bat demon descends to the ground as it sees the black monster covered with lightning approached in a fast speed.

*KIIII KIIIK KIIIIK KIIIK KIII!!*

The bat demon laugh.

The black monster stopped from running about 15 meters away from the bat demon.

The bat demon started talking.

“You manage to kill the elite soldiers of my Master Cerberus, but with this amount of demons you will fall to your doom. Even if you’re that powerful, you will get tired and as soon as you got tired, I will be the one to finish you off.”

But the black monster didn’t give any reply.

“Kiii Kiik Kiii!! What a courageous little monster, I liked that. You know I always liked to have pets, you see they always end up dying for a couple of days, but I think I can spare your life if you want to, just crawl under my. .”

*CRRRKKK BOOM*

Pieces of rocks and flesh scattered all around the place, the bat demon can no longer be found. It got a direct hit from a strong lightning magic attack. The other demons witnessed what happened, and with a loud cry they all attacked the black monster.

Flashes of lightning rained all over the place that followed by a loud thunder. Rocks starts to rise from the ground as some monster got impaled by it. A group of demon simultaneously attacks the black monster, but only dead awaits them. Different sizes of fire balls from the dragons’ rain from the sky, but only demons and the ground covered with blood got hit by it.

The black monster slaughtered everything that got in his way. A huge amount of poison flew to the sky, and was hit by a large boulder. The poison was destroyed into tiny droplets and soon the demons on the ground started to melt. Flying demons guard themselves using their wings, but it was the biggest mistake of their life.

Giant demons are now attacking the black monster, but they cannot even make a single hit because of its speed. One by one the giant demons start to fall to the ground, their feet was decapitated and was starting to decay. A loud cry of pain and agony echoed around the surroundings, the small hill of corpses start to get bigger and bigger like a mountain, a once small drop of blood became a lake filled with bones, organs, flesh and blood.

A true bloodbath, like literally. ^^

MC's POV

When I got near the demons, I didn’t attack because I thought it was some kind of fighting manner, were the two parties stopped for a moment and have a staring contest or make some conversation or whatever.

The bat like demon starts to make a sound like laughing, and it was very VERY irritating for me. It was making sounds like talking but I can’t really tell what it was. The demon was just making horrible sounds, and for a moment of hearing its high pitched noise. I was so irritated so I just killed it with my lightning magic.

The demons made a cry and start their attack.

“HAHAHA, I’m going to enjoy this much experience.”

Let’s start the fun.
