《Righteous Sovereign, Shameless Rogue (hiatus/rewrite)》I Do Not Kill...Unprovoked!

Flicking her forefinger towards the large stone gate, a wave of qi swept out of the young woman’s body and smashed into the gate, shattering it, causing clouds of dust to billow into the encampment. But, as the young woman stepped into the veil of dust, it instantly parted, revealing a large rank of shield-bearing, sword-wielding, silver armored men.
Stood amidst the silver-armored ‘infantry’ was a middle-aged man dressed in the white robes of an ‘Imperial Guard’. Pointing at the young woman with a silver folding fan in his hand, the man commanded in a stoic tone.
“INFANTRY FORWARD!”
Hearing this, the rank of infantry began to shuffle forward slowly…
“LOCK SHIELDS! ‘HALF MOON FORMATION’!” the middle-aged man issued another order.
Instantly, the advancing infantry gathered into small groups of a few dozen men, and raised their shields, forming a bulwark of interlocking shields.
Her eyes glazing over the advancing infantry coldly, the young woman uttered softly.
“I do not kill…unprovoked…”
Although her voice was barely perceptible, every living creature within hundreds li could understand every single word in perfect clarity.

Deep within the large encampment was a colossal peak, known as the ‘Overflowing Yang Summit’, reaching over a hundred li into the sky, its peak having remained untouched by men for dozens of millennia.
Somewhere up this colossal peak was a small cave abode, in it, sitting in meditation, was a man in his late-middle-ages, with a head of black hair, coiled in a top bun, and a long, flowing beard that pooled down in front of him. Dressed in loose red robes, the middle-aged man was the very image of an otherworldly daoist.
When the young woman’s words reached his ears, the old man’s body shuddered slightly, and his eyes snapped open.
This voice…how…familiar…the old man thought to himself, but before he could fully recall where he had heard the voice from, he was distracted by a torrent of voice transmissions.
“Senior Xia! Did…did you hear the voice as well?” the first voice, a man, asked.
“Master! This…what was that?!” A second voice, a young man’s, questioned.
However, before the middle-aged man could reply to any of them, a cold and detached voice rang in his ear, sending a shiver down his spine…
“Go…receive our…guest…”
This voice belonged to the ‘revered guest’ from the ‘Celestial Moon Palace’!
When he heard these words, the middle-aged man didn’t dare tarry in the slightest, with a swish of his sleeves, his body turned into a red blur, streaking out of the cave. As he soared down the peak, the middle-aged man reached out with his spiritual sense and a few others emerged from their cave abodes, joining him in descent.
“Senior Xia…what was that just now?” One of the figures trailing behind the old man, an elegant thirty-something woman, asked.
“It does not matter, the ‘revered guest’ has spoken, so we must comply,” the middle-aged man, senior Xia, replied in a bitter tone.

The encampment that surrounded the ‘Overflowing Yang Summit’ was now in ruins, while bloodied and bruised bodies littered the broken campgrounds. Clearly, the young woman had been provoked…as she was trespassing a military encamptment…but well, they had certainly sealed their own fates by attacking her, right?
“Help…It hurts…”
“Kill…me…please…”
“Save me…from…this pain…”
Surprisingly, there was a lot of begging and wailing going around amongst the bloodied and bruised bodies…

Stood at the center of this hellish spectacle was the young woman, and lying at her feet was the refined youth, Deng Xishen.
“You should have…killed…them…” an aged voice rang out from within the folds of the robes covering the young woman’s chest.
“Hmph! Old hag, life is a precious thing, how can it be so easily taken?” The young woman replied in a huff.
“It would…be better…for them…if you…ended…their…lives…” the aged voice replied. “Look…at…them…”
“Er…it’s fine, they’ll recover in no time!” The young woman argued.
“Perhaps…some…will be…fortunate enough…to walk…once more…after…their hair…turns grey …”
“Well…walking isn’t that important! Besides, if they do have to retire from this, they’ll be able to live off their military pension quite comfortably!”
“Perhaps…they would…have…preferred…to be…able…to…walk…or…dead…”
“Ah well, too late to think about that now, besides~”
*Bam*
The young woman had suddenly slammed her heel downwards, onto the Deng Xishen’s back.
“Oi~…where do you think you’re going?” the young woman asked, a playful smile on her lips. “If you try that again, I’ll break all five of your limbs…”
The young woman’s words sent a chill down Deng Xishen’s spine, ending on his crotch…
Early, Deng Xishen had hoped to slowly crawl out of the woman’s reach and make a mad dash for it. Of course, he knew it was bound to be futile, but what else was he meant to do, if not struggle? He couldn’t just wait for death, right?
Based on the screaming and wailing going on around him, Deng Xishen had deduced that a lot of the men were still…alive, crippled, but well, still alive, which made him breathe out a sigh of relief. Despite being fully capable, the young woman hadn’t turned this entire encampment into a true slaughter ground, maybe this woman was a merciful, albeit slightly unhinged, person after all! Maybe he could negotiate with her…
“Err, fairy…seeing that fairy isn’t planning on kill this lowly one…how about we…um…talk things through…” Deng Xishen suggested with a flattering smile. “Fairy is a deity from high above, fairy wouldn’t want to make things so difficult for a lowly mortal like this one…right?”
“Hehe, big brother, you really do have a glib tongue, but I’m no fairy from above, so killing you won’t be beneath me,” the young woman replied in a sweet tone, sounding more like an adorable girl next door than a psychopath that revels in the screaming and wailing of her victims. “I just haven’t killed you…yet, so don’t push your fortune.”
The young woman’s words shut down every last thought Deng Xishen had for any negotiation; it looks like his fate was now entirely up to the whims of this she-devil…
“Well, actually, there’s something that I would like to ask you, and depending on the answer you give, I might just spare you…” the young woman suddenly asked, a slightly bashful expression on her face.
“Eh…fairy, please ask away…” Deng Xishen meekly responded, it looks like all he can do is humor this she-devil for now…
“So…um…when it comes to girls…do you have a type?”
Hearing the young woman’s question, Deng Xishen’s coughed out a mouthful of blood…
******
Deep within the ‘Overflowing Yang Summit’, tens of li underground, was a large cavern, its ceiling hundreds of zhang tall, and filled to the brim with boiling magma. Floating above this sea of magma, stark naked, in silent meditation, was a man who looked to be in his thirties, with blazing red hair, a dashing appearance, and a toned body.

This person was the ‘revered guest’ from the ‘Celestial Moon Palace!’
In his hand was a talisman drawn in blood-red ink, atop an aged, jade-green parchment.
“Martial Uncle, how much longer will you take?” the man spoke into the talisman.
The red ink on the talisman began to glow brightly, and an elderly voice rang out within it.
“Half a shi…”
As the transmission came to a halt, the talisman burst into a bright red blaze, reduced to dust in an instant.
Hearing this, the man became rather concerned, however, this kind of concern was normal to him, it’s just how he’s always been, he wasn’t too afraid of this young woman, he wasn’t a coward, he was just a…worrywart. If he wasn’t like this, how could he have survived in the faithless hell known as the ‘Celestial Moon Palace’?
The man was worried, only because he did not know what this ‘Malicious Moon Devil’ was fully capable of! Killing that ‘Celestial Moon Envoy’, wasn’t some amazing feat, for he too was capable of that, but what if this woman was capable of more? Acknowledging this, he had requested his Master for protection, and his Martial Uncle was sent here from the ‘Celestial Moon Palace’, but since the distance between the ‘Great Qin’ and the ‘Celestial Moon Palace’ was so large, his Martial Uncle had yet to arrive.
He would feel more comfortable if his Martial Uncle was here, in case the situation went awry, but no matter, since the envoy was able to battle the devil for a period of time, he should be able to do the same…by all logic, he should've fled and waited for his Martial Uncle to arrive, but at the same time, he would be losing too much face if this ‘Malicious Moon Devil’ turned out to be nothing too concerning…
With that thought in mind, an armor, seemingly crafted out of rubies, materialized around his body, and he flew into the cavern’s ceiling, smashing through it like a blazing sun.
*****
As the red-haired man was speaking with his Martial Uncle, the half a dozen cultivators lead by Senior Xia had arrived where the young woman was. Floating in the sky, these cultivators were looking down at the young woman warily…
Amongst them was a large middle-aged man, dressed in dark blue robes, a large broadsword strapped to his back. Gritting his teeth, the blue-robed man floated forward and drew his sword, pointing it towards the young woman, as he declared.
“Little lass! Who are you to encroach upon the ‘Tyrant Sword Empire’s, ‘Overflowing Yang Summit’! Name yourself this instant! For this ‘Emperor’ does not kill the nameless!”
“You’ll be dead soon anyway, why bother learning my name?” the young woman replied with a bright smile, before turning to Deng Xishen, who was lying on the ground, “Don’t go anywhere, okay? You still haven’t answered my question, after all!”
Hearing the young woman’s words, both the blue-robed man’s and Deng Xishen’s heart almost erupted, one out of anger, the other out of indignance…
Leaping off the ground soundlessly, the young woman ascended rapidly, and in moments, she was face to face with the blue-robed man.
“Girl, I’ll give you five breaths, before I act, speak!” The blue-robed man decreed as a tyrannical aura swept out from the broadsword in his hand.
He was very wary of this young woman, for even the ‘revered guest’ had warned him to be careful, but including himself, there were six ‘Hallowed Court’ cultivators, so he should be safe, right?
Although this blue-robed ‘Emperor’ was big in stature and carried a brutish weapon, he was a very cunning man, these five seconds he was giving the woman, was in fact, an opportunity for him to prepare his most powerful technique to cut her down! He didn’t care in the slightest who this was, the ‘revered guest’ had commanded him to slay her, so he shall do it, with his strongest technique!
“Four!” The blue-robed ‘Emperor’ counted.
“Hehe…with the boorish appearance of a water buffalo, to think you would be as cunning as an old snake…your little technique takes five breaths to prepare…doesn’t it?” the young woman laughed lightly, clearly, she had seen through the man’s farce, somehow…
“Three!” Despite being exposed by the young woman, the blue-robed ‘Emperor’ continued, so what if she knows what he plans to do? Was she going to charge past the five other ‘Emperors’ to cut him down? A powerful killing intent erupted from his body, and a wild surge of qi swept out of the broadsword in his hand. “So what if you know what I’m planning! How are you going to stop me?!”
“Heh…” Seeing that the blue-robed ‘Emperor’ didn’t plan to continue his farce any longer, the young woman revealed a mocking smile.
Watching this charade, even the female ‘Emperor’ behind the blue-robed ‘Emperor’ couldn't help but sneer at him in disdain, clearly, not even his own allies were quite satisfied with his actions…
“Two!” The blue-robed ‘Emperor’ declared as he lifted his broadsword over his head, holding it with both hands.
Unbothered by this, the young woman flicked her middle finger at the blue-robed ‘Emperor’.
“ONE!” The blue-robed ‘Emperor’ bellowed in fury. Being exposed and then ridiculed by the same junior, while his own peers looked on in disdain, was a lot more than this shameless fellow could take…
“IMMORTAL MASSACRE STROKE!” The blue-robed ‘Emperor’ screamed as he swung his sword and he lunged forward. The large broadsword left behind a deep red scar in the sky as the blue-robed ‘Emperor’ hurtled towards the young woman.
Smiling lightly as the sword arched towards her, the young woman let out a soft laugh before speaking.
“‘Immortal Massacre Stroke’? Can you even kill chickens and dogs with this little bit of sword energy?” The young woman ridiculed.
Even as the sword neared her body, the sword energy it radiated was unable to shake the young woman in the slightest! Seeing this, the blue-robed ‘Emperor’ became terrified…but he couldn’t stop now! Once the ‘Immortal Massacre Stroke’ was drawn, it cannot be stopped until it ended!
As the sword came within her reach, the young woman reached out and tapped it lightly…

The Infinity Islands
I was just supposed to be a normal guy! I was about to graduate from my normal university with my normal English degree, about to begin my first foray out into the real world. But somehow, I had ended up worlds away instead. Far, far away from home, in a world that should have been just like mine, running and fighting for my life in a war I didn't understand. None of us knew why or how we were there or what we were ultimately supposed to accomplish. But that didn't really matter, did it? In my new world, there was only one rule: survive! --- Hey all, I'm Ken, and this is my first time sharing a story online. This story is heavily inspired by Terror Infinity, if it wasn't obvious from the title. I've been interested in making a Terror Infinity story for a while now, but I have a lot of problems with its system and mechanics, so I decided to just make my own system instead of trying to adapt to that one. If you find any mistakes, typos, or awkward phrasing please let me know in the comments so I can fix it! I hope everyone can enjoy this story but, even if you don't, please let me know why and what you think I can do to improve. Thank you. (The original picture for the cover can be found here)

Divine Creatures
Kestra, a [Combat Alchemist] and [Woods Wraith Hunter], is excited to finally receive her third class. But when she attempts to do so, she instead receives a tribulation from the God of Trials, loses her classes, and is informed by the voice of the world that she's been selected to transmigrate with only three days to go. She tries her damnedest to prepare, but even the Elements are different in this new realm. A relatively staid adjustment period is completely abandoned though as she finds that, most distressingly, hundreds of transmigrators have appeared recently with dozens enslaved by the local city lord. Fine! She may have lost her classes and the magic is funky, but she'll be damned if she doesn't have a few true-blue skills up her sleeves. [synopsis re-write by luda305] A light hearted romp where the protag transmigrator *isn't* from Earth. The main story takes place on more of a western xianxia world. Note: profanity tag is because of side characters, and sexual context tag is for some risqué elements before fade-to-black scene. Book 1 is written and scheduled for release a chapter a day till 9/26 (24 chapters total) Book 2 will be added after it is all written. Updated to add fanfic tag because when I picked up the latest Ten Realms I realized that series has had a lot more influence on the setting than I consciously realized. Don't expect military or industrial revolution in xianxia, though.
