《The man who wasnt human to begin with....》Revamp, Chapter 1

I decided to revamp the story, as I had a few... loop holes and plot devices that didn't quite work. So I restarted it. As you may notice the old chapters will stay up until I replace them with the new chapters. I like this new plot line better, but if enough ppl want the other one to stay. Anyway, hope you like it?? (slightly different premise here, but same world as before and same lore. More to be explained next chapter!!!)
---------------------------
She was looking at him again... It was a normal day at school, much like the others, hence the use of the word normal. Today, she was at it again, just like normal. The girl in the back was staring at him. He turned his head slightly, catching a glimpse again of this mysterious girl. Not mysterious in the normal meaning of the word, but more mysterious as to WHY she was always staring at him...
She had been in all his classes since he joined the school three years ago, and had proceeded to stare at him for the entire duration of every class, disregarding the world around her. That didn't impact her grades though, as she was like him...
She, quite possibly, knew more then the teacher did on the subject in question, even without studying. He was like that as well, but he at least made the farce of paying attention, as it would be considered... "un-natural" should a child know more about physics, a class he had never taken before nor looked into, then a physics professor.
He at least tried to hide it, while she just stared at him, zoning out the world around her, day in and day out. Always him, never anyone else. Most people would find it weird or creepy to have a stalker, but he didn't particularly care. He actually quite liked the girl, the way she acted, the way she spoke, the way she looked. That was, unless you counted her stalking him.
Upon noticing his gaze she smiled, a beautiful thing, and waved to him, her petite hand spreading out his pale smooth perfect fingers, and moving in a circular arc.
He slightly waved back, her smile grew brighter.
His thoughts on this subject split, which was one of many he was currently pondering. Half of the allotted brain power given to this quandary remained rational along its previous course, while the other half splintered off, forming several sub thoughts. The strongest one of these splinters was the thought "My god, she is beautiful...", another one of these "Look at her breasts, how did they even get that large?" was a close runner up, as it complemented the first thought, leading to it becoming more powerful. The lesser thoughts, such as "She looks incredibly familiar, do I know her from somewhere?", gradually were absorbed by the larger thoughts. The larger thoughts became stronger and stronger in that isolated portion of his brain, as they acquired the brainpower of the smaller thoughts which they squished.

The splinters of thought, for this war, were rapidly gaining in strength, and were gradually overcoming his reasoning side that was wondering why she was staring at him. As it approached the threshold however, where the two sides would swap, and a majority of his allocated portion of brain capacity would think on how hot she was, something broke his concentration, briefly shutting down his mental war.
??? : "Mr. Cornelius, am I boring you?"
Cornelius : "Yes..." He let the world slip out in partial annoyance at having his thoughts interrupted and partially because it was true. The teacher had absolutely nothing to tell him which he couldn't reason out himself. It was kind of marvelous, he could figure out the subject through logic and reason before it was taught to him. He always had been one who learned quickly and, for the most part didn't even need school. He only came because otherwise he would have nothing to do. The teacher must have thought he was being a rude smart-ass, as he was new to this class, and substantially younger then anyone else in it, except his stalker.
Teacher : "Well, we shall have to see what the Principal says to that, Ms. Veronica, you shall go as well. I don't want to separate the equally disrespectful lovebirds"
At that last word, the classroom tensed up. Veronica was the jewel of the school... Unfathomably smart, unfathomably beautiful.. Perfect in everything, never getting angry, although she never actively talked to anyone either, she was rather nice to those she did not know. She had rejected countless dates, and had crushed many men's dreams. Roughly half the class stared at Cornelius with eyes of envy. They all were incredibly angered at how things had turned out.
Cornelius, unlike the rest of them, had never gone out of his way to ask her anything, nor gone out of his way to socialize with her, she just decided on him. She followed him around, smiled at him, waved at him, and apparently had eyes for ONLY him.
Cornelius : *Maybe its an age thing?*
He and Veronica were the two youngest people in the room. He was fifteen, and apparently so was she. She didn't look fifteen, she looked slightly older then that, about seventeen, but she had entered the school the same time he did, and he had known her since she was his size. The rest of the people in the class were seniors at the high-school, taking their last physics class until they graduated. Veronica stood up, attracting the gazes of all the wannabee boyfriends in the room, each knowing her actual age but so swayed by her appearance that they thought it wouldn't matter. She eventually stood right behind him as they waited for the teacher to finish his referral to the office.
His thoughts swayed back to her and why she was still, even now, staring at him with that slight smile on her face. He resolved himself to talk to her for once when they exited the classroom to find out what this was about.

The teacher had finished writing his note, and handed it to Cornelius, with Veronica following closely behind.
The moment they were out of the classroom and the door closed, Cornelius looked at her, and his thoughts splintered again, as his determination faltered a bit. A moment passed as they walked in silence, before he stopped walking and stared her straight in the face, just a few inches away.
Cornelius : "Why were you staring at me?"
Veronica : "Because I love you..."
His mind, which had been warring over various subjects until that point, shut down all of its smaller wars, such as those on the architecture of the building, or the particle movements around a black hole, or even about an itch that had been forming on the back of his leg. Everything, for the first time in his life, shut down, and he was able to focus his entire attention on one topic. They raced onwards, at a speed which should be impossible, and even surprised him. His mind had never been so focused as to only think on one topic before, it had always been sidetracked by something. He eventually reached a conclusion about half a second later, after ruling out most of the unlikely possibilities.
Cornelius : "No, that's not possible... Tell me the real reason.. Is this a bet, to see how the nerd will react? Or is my family paying you to keep watch on their little genius? A competitor perhaps? Trying to sway me to their side before I grew up? Why stalk me so intensely? Did the government send you to keep me under watch since I hacked their servers?"
He paused for a breath...
Cornelius : "Tell me the real re-mmph"
Something cut him off, his eyes focused, they had glazed over as his entire attention had been focused on his unruly and rampaging thoughts, but now, he was brought back to reality. There stood a perfect girl, of extreme intellect, with massive breasts and a perfect figure. A girl with outstanding manners and poise, one who could get anywhere she wanted in the world. She had cut him off, by sealing his lips with hers, pressing her large chest into his, and wrapping her arms around his neck.
She opened her closed eyes, staring seductively into his, He stared right back, unable to find an ounce of faltering or even the slightest hint of mistruth in her bright blue eyes. He was bewildered. He only saw eyes of true passion and emotion. Was she telling the truth?
Veronica : "I could never lie to my Husband... I love you..." After the second admission of love, she once more smothered him in a rather forceful kiss, pushing him up against the lockers as she pressed him downwards.
His briefly collected thoughts, once again fragmented. He knew that what she said was essentially impossible, barring love at first sight, as they had never gotten to know each other...
They have never talked or done anything remotely close to interaction, she just smiled and stared at him. He guessed she was waiting for him to make the first move, but if so, for what purpose?
His other thoughts, couldn't exactly remain rational under the current circumstances, where a supermodel level girl was pushing him up against lockers locking his lips with hers and forcing her body onto his.
A small bit of his rationality managed to make it out of the stranglehold of lust and confusion, to once more scan her eyes to see if he could find any underlying motives, but once again he saw nothing that she hadn't stated.
He once again thought back to her words, and, half reluctantly broke off the kiss, pushing her backwards.
Cornelius : "H-Husband?"
Veronica : "Of course!" At seeing his reaction, She let out a smile,
Veronica : "I have loved you ever since you persuaded me to love you... I chose you and you chose me, I love you so much that neither words nor actions can even scratch the surface... And I will always love you, no matter how many times you die, no matter where you go, no matter what happens to you... I will always be searching for you..."
At that she hugged him and kissed him again, more forcefully this time.
He was baffled by her audacity and her forwardness about this. Her words weren't making any sense.
Cornelius : "I chose you and you chose me??? Your words have no rational meaning??!?! What are you even saying??"
Veronica : "You will know in time my love, but for now, we have somewhere to be..."
She took his arm and pulled him toward the principles office, causing him to go stumbling after her.
They were given a stern talking to, but after they proved that they knew the concepts that hadn't even been explained yet, the Principle let them go with a sigh. He knew that they didn't even belong in high-school. College was perhaps too limiting for them as well. He sent them back to class with a warning to not be so bold or disrespectful next time.
They accepted the lecture halfheartedly, and went back.
They walked into the classroom, Veronica still linking her arms with Cornelius.
The teacher saw this and was angered, so he put his hands between them, and shoved them apart, creating a several foot gap between them.
Teacher : "Break is up lovebirds, Guess you didn't learn your less-Huh??"
The room started glowing brightly, whiting out the walls and windows. Veronica's watch started beeping very rapidly. She was slightly dazed by what was happening, but when she glanced at her watch, her normal smile faded and was replaced with a scowl and a look of dread. She instantly pushed back against the teachers arms, reaching for her beloved. Alas, everything went white, as she was mere inches away from him.

8 1007Leslie's Poems
This is a continuous collection of poems that I've written in chronological order, starting with the oldest and ending with the newest. This will be updated periodically and may have mass updates. More often than not, each poem either will be written in free verse or with zero adherence to traditional poem structure. Some poems may imply situations and actions that can be triggering or annoying, especially the earlier poems. I recommend skipping most of the ones from 2018-2019, or just not reading this at all if you feel it may hurt you. Please enjoy and read at your own discretion.

8 88Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
