《Beast God》Chapter 41- Tuk says Hi

Ben body was covered in blue arcs of lightning making him look like a Zeus himself. When using his lightning element, Ben’s speed and attack power drastically improved.
Ben easily dodged Takon’s attack and countered with a simple punch, landing on Takon’s wing.
Takon let our a snarl as he release of column of white flames at Ben.
Ben’s eyes narrowed as he quickly retreated out of the way.
The edge of Ben’s pants still got caught by the flame, making Ben cut of a piece of his pants. The fire sent cold chills throughout Ben’s body.
‘Ava what kind of fire is this?’ Ben asked, watching the Wyvern carefully now.
‘Should be a type of frost flame. But it seems like a high grade frost flame, a wyvern shouldn't have this kind of flame. It’s rare for Dragons and Phoenixes to even have it.’ Ava said, Ben could feel her confusion through their soul link.
‘All the more reason to make him my soul beast’ Ben thought.
‘Master I don't think you should. While his flame is rare, he is still just a wyvern. A lesser dragon.’ Ava advised Ben.
‘You met Duke, he was just a dog. I don't care for statuses, I want partners who can become stronger with me. If all of them are as strong as you Ava then it wouldn't be any challenge becoming the strongest right?’ Ben said to Ava as he dodged Takon’s fire breath.
Ava remained silent as she thought over what Ben said. Most people would want to become strong as quick and easy as possible but Ben didn't. He wanted to grow and become stronger with his soul beast together, only then could he reach the top.
Truth be told, Ben was thinking of his favourite anime he watched as a kid. The MC growing with his pets and becoming stronger with them. That’s what he wanted.
Ben focused his lightning element to his legs and fists, lightning armour formed covered his fist and feet. Ben had learned this trick from Colton after they spared. By focusing the element to a single point you could create something called elemental armour.
Ben’s sword were still being made and left him without his primary weapons. Thankfully his hand to hand combat skill was improving, although it was still at the beginner level.

Ben got moved closer to the wyvern, landing punches and kicks on its large body. The wyvern tried to counter but Ben was too fast and the lightning was starting to numb his body.
Roaring in frustration, Takon released his most powerful breath attack yet. White flames filled the cave, leaving Ben nowhere to run. Ben quickly covered his entire body with elemental armour. It was weaker and thinner compared to when he focused it to a single part of his body but it still gave him protection from area attacks like this.
The white flames washed over him, leaving him shivering from the cold. Weirdly, the flames were burning through his armour and ‘burning’ his skin. While it looked like it was burning, what Ben felt was ice piercing his soul.
Ben could feel his body and soul starting to freeze.
“AVA!” Ben called out in panicked.
The white flame completely overwhelmed Ben.
Takon smiled viciously, “Arrogant human dares say he wanted me to be his soul beast.” Just as he was about to return to the back of the cave to sleep, Takon saw a tiny black flame. Normally it would be difficult to see but it stood out easily thanks to the white flame that covered the entire cave.
The black flame started to grow, getting bigger and bigger. The flame outlined the body of a human.
Takon stared in disbelief as the black flame grew bigger.
“Thanks Ava. Looks like I am not able to defeat him by myself.” Ben said depressed.
‘Hardly fair Master! You don't have your swords!’ Duke came to his defense.
‘The mutt is right, you aren't using your swords or any skills.’ Ava chimed in.
Ava had used her fire to protect Ben’s body and soul from the white flame at the last minute. Ava’s Black Hell Flame was almost a divine grade flame, causing it to easily defeat Takon’s high grade white flame.
“But you use lightning element! How can you have such a flame!?” Takon yelled in disbelief.
“Well to be honest, this isn't my flame. It’s Ava’s.” Ben simply stated.
“Ava?” Takon asked in confusion.
Ben held his left arm out, couple seconds later a beautiful black Phoenix appeared next to him.

“... a Phoenix… but how?” Takon was lost for words.
“Ava is my soul beast, one of my partners.” Ben said as he placed his hand on Ava’s side and smiled.
Ava looked away, embarrassed by this human’s words. Phoenix’s were noble lofty creatures that looked down on most life forms. To be called a partner by a lowly human would enrage most Phoenix’s but Ava felt comfort in his words.
“You have a Phoenix as a soul beast… she must not be a pure Phoenix.” Takon was muttering to himself at this point, trying to justify to himself why a Phoenix would ever enter a soul contract.
Ava, hearing his words, immediately flared up in anger. “I am of purest blood you fucking lizard!” Black flames flared out from her, giving her a menacing look.
Takon shrunk back in fear. Those flames were devouring his own and giving off an evil feeling that caused Takon to be afraid.
Ben patted Ava’s side, calming her down. He looked over at the cowering Takon and sighed, “I will come back in 4 days to fight again. I will win by myself.”
Ben turned to leave with Ava entering his soul again.
“No need!” Takon called out to Ben.
Ben turned around in confusion.
“Your strength is undeniable and if a phoenix is willing to follow you then there is no reason why I shouldn't.” Takon said.
[Takon wants to become your soul beast. Do you accept?]
Ben immediately accepted. Feeling the familiar pain of his soul being torn apart and his skin burning. Ben welcomed the pain, this pain would only make him stronger. Ben’s chest burned fiercely as a beautiful cobalt blue wyvern appeared on his chest.

Millions of miles away, Kal Ebbern VI was staring at a large screen. On it was planet Earth and it’s different cities displayed.
Kal brow furrowed, “These damn lowly earthlings just won't die. Worst than cockroaches.”
In the corner stood a man covered in a grey robe that hid his face.
The grey robe man suddenly tensed up and quickly appeared in front of Kal, shielding him from danger.
“Such an impressive dog.” a loud mocking voice came out from above.
Looking up, Kal saw Tuk looking down on him with a mocking gaze.
“Tuk this is breaking the rules. You aren't allowed to enter my domain without permission.” Kal spat out venomously.
His hatred for Tuk had festered for thousands of years and only grew stronger everyday.
“Oh? A stickler for rules all of a sudden? Didn't seem to be like that when dealing with earth.” Tuk’s voice turned cold, making the room's temperature drop in temperature.
Kal feigned ignorance, “I have no idea what you mean.”
“The slaves, allowing the Phoenix Clan’s servants unto the planet and now you're placing high leveled beast on the planet.” Tuk’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “Did I miss anything?”
A cold sweat broke out on Kal’s back. Tuk himself was an extremely powerful cultivator and could easily kill him. Thankfully he had his grey robed servant to protect him.
“I-” Kal started to say.
“I don't want to hear your excuses. I don't care. If I have to come again… it will be the last time we meet.” immense pressure filled the room, almost causing Kal to fall to his knees.
The pressure disappeared as quickly as it came.
Tuk started to walk away, he stopped and looked back at Kal, “If you think your dog will be able to protect you…” Kal saw a flash of movement, then heard a loud bang. Turning he saw the grey robed man stuck against a wall. He fell to his knees and spat out some blood. “... think again.”

He Ascended from Earth a thousand years ago. A millennial NEET shut-in at heart, he enjoys video games and holo tube while spending time with his female companion, who does all his deific duties for him. Join the crazy adventures of a lazy God and his unwilling follower's rise to power. The first few Arc's of the story is an Academy arc. I think you will know if you like the story by chapter 6 as the first chapter may be confusing (or sucks, idk I like it so whatever)._________ The story is a slow burn. If you are expecting quick progression, I suggest looking at some of the other great stories on RR. I personally enjoy and Patreon several, but that's not what I'm writing. That might hurt my chances of trending anytime soon (or ever lol), but that is fine with me. I'm sure some of you will appreciate the story as much as I do in writing it. FAQ: The story has elements of xianxia and wuxia along with some GameLit (at some point). The story takes place in an age where tech has advanced to a complete integration with magic. Imagine everything running on mana or qi instead of electricity, and you will get the idea. There will be crafting but not until later in the story. It's actually a core plot elemenet for Layla. I'm writing this story for my own enjoyment and as a way of relieving stress in my life. I'm not a pro author or a naturally gifted wordsmith. I don't have beta readers and every chapter posted is a first draft. I'm still learning and will strive to improve as I continue the story. If you don't speak up I can't work on improving as an author. I welcome any criticism and encouragement that would help me become a better writer. I can't believe you read this far down! ;) Enjoy the story. --Cover Credit-- Cover art (emblem) by: Oxana Che Cover Design by: Miblart

There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
