[Bennett's tamed beast, Duke, wants to become your soul beast. Do you accept?]
Ben agreed without hesitation. Duke, who was behind the mysterious woman, suddenly ran at Ben. Ben, who was happy to see his friend after a week apart opened his arms in preparation for him to be tackled.
Right when Duke was about to make contact with Ben's chest, he passed through it like a ghost. Duke's entire body disappeared.
Ben grabbed his chest, a little freaked out on what had happened.
"Ahhh!" Ben have a short yell of pain. Looking down on his right arm, a black wolf tattoo appeared. It covered from his shoulder to his wrist. It was a tattoo of Duke!
Though tattoo might be an inaccurate descriptions though. It looked real! Lifelike!
'Duke?'
'Bark!' he heard Duke in his mind.
"Incredible," he muttered staring at his arm.

"Ahem."
Looking up from his arm he saw the mysterious woman with an angry look on her face. He let out an embarrassed laugh, he been engrossed in his own world this entire time, ignoring the beautiful woman in front of him.
"Umm, yes?" he asked innocently.
"Hmph!" shooting him a dirty look. "Did you dig that hole and plan for him to step into it?" she asked pointing at the dead butcher.
"Yes. That area had 10 different traps for him. All I needed was for him to fall in one after he used his skill and I knew I'd win."
Nodding her head in approval, "What do you think of your new class?"
"It's strong. I get 15x more attribute points per level than before. I'm not sure about he skills though." Ben answered truthfully. The skills he got from his class didn't seem that great in his opinion. There was no attack or defense skill that could help him in battles. They were useful but not great he thought.
"Idiot! You don't know anything. Imagine fighting someone and their arm all of a sudden is flexible like a snake. Or they grow claws. Your Beast Imitation skill has endless possibilities, it is only restricted by your imagination. You will realize the value of Soul Beast later on." she scolded Ben for his idiocy.
Giving a sheepish grin, he realized he was thinking a little simple. The Beast Imitation skill would give his an edge during a close fight.
"You're right. Can I leave this god damn island now?" After spending seven days here, Ben could honestly say if he ever came back here in his lifetime it would be too soon.
"Fine." she about to wave her hand but stopped halfway. "By the way, what is your Inherited Skill?"

"Oh that. It's call Nature's Child." he answered indifferent.
"N-nature's... c-child?" she stuttered, unable to keep herself from shaking.
'Nature's Child! Not blessing? It's something I have never heard of! I must tell Master as soon as possible.'
"Yes Nature's Child. It allows me to absorb natural energy from my surroundings. Hey, what should I call you by the way?"
"Call me Green." answered Green.
"Green? Were your parents yellow and blue? Hahaha." Ben laughed at his own joke but quickly stopped after seeing her angry look.
'Okay not an art person. Noted.'
"You can't tell a single person what your Inherited Skill is. Do. You. Understand?" she pronounced each word like talking to a 4 year old.
"Yes. But why?" Ben asked curiously, ignoring her mocking.
"Just don't." she said simply.
"Fine. Can I go now?"
"Do you want your reward or not? Because I promise you, if you miss out on this opportunity you will regret it the rest of your life." Green was annoyed. Why did this brat want to get away from me? Was she not pretty enough for this toad?
"Reward? Wasn't my class my reward?"
"My master thought you deserved a something more." she said before taking out two small round objects from her pockets. She smiled evilly at me, "this might hurt a little."
Trying to respond, Ben found himself unable to speak or move. He was bound in place unable to do anything.
Ben watched Green walk towards him, he was so terrified that he almost shit his pants. 'Nothing ever good happens when I'm around this women!' he screamed to himself.
Ben watched her hand reach out to his face.
He heard a sickening sound before pain erupted from his eye. Looking at Green , he saw her fingers covered in blood and his eye in her hand!
She reached for his other eye.
'NO!' Ben screamed but nothing came out. His world went dark.
He wanted to cry. How the hell could he live in a world blind?
A hot sensation interrupted his pity party he was having. It started from his eyes and spread out across his whole body.
...
Green looked down at the brat, he was unconscious at the moment. The Mekata eyes were still altering his body and it looked like it would take some time until there were finished.
'Just how lucky is this brat. First his Inherited Skill and now Mekata eyes?' though she cursed him for his luck, she was also curious on what he would accomplish with these two gifts. Just one of them could shake the universe but he managed to get both.
'Though he wont be able to activate the true power of the eyes for awhile, they will still be immensely helpful in his journey.'
The Mekata eyes were know as the strongest eyes in the universe. There power widely varied, and according to the Mekata race, it depended on the person himself. Some Mekata people were able to control other people to do their bidding while others controlled all the elements, including time and space.
All eyes had the ability to see through illusions and slow down an enemies movement. This is what made the Mekata such a fearsome race.
Green sent Ben somewhere he could adjust to the eyes safely before disappearing herself.
'I must tell Master.'

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
