have lots of time today because I'm sick so another update! although not needing to eat really gives me an extra 2 hours to write.
I got early as usual because our family eats early due to my dad's work. After eating I stretched myself out and went outside. I told my mom I was going to play and to tell Ivo where I went. I went to the lower district and found the ruffians from yesterday. Only one was still injured from yesterday so I healed him and then sat down beside a well in the middle of an open area. I watched the others play and a couple of times I was asked to play I polity declined their offers. As some of them got hurt they would walk over to me and I would heal them. It seems some of them told their parents and their parents gave them copper coins to give to me. I spent the whole day like this training my healing magic and immune to death. This training was better then all the other training mainly because I could go full out with healing people with no questions. Today was also the first time I saw a female girl from the town. It seems that most of the time that they stay inside helping their mothers. She walked right up to me and as she did she fell at least 3 or 4 times.
“H..he..hello”
“Hello what is your name, mine is Gilbert”
“M..m...my n...n..name is M...M...Mary”
“That's a nice name Mary, how can I help you today?”
“M..M..My brother hurt h..h..his hand t...today c..c...can you h..h..help him?”
“Sure ill see what I can do lead the way!”
“O..o...okay”
Man her stuttering is so annoying. I wonder if she was born with it? I walked behind her. She was very skinny, had blonde hair with dirt mixed in, and was smaller then myself. We went into the worst part of town where people where starving to death on the side of the street. I looked at them sadly. It wasn't as if I could help them. We eventually came to a house that was in disrepair. She walked in and I followed. I saw two beds one with a teenager on it and the other was empty.

“Sister what are you doing back didn't I tell you to go *cough play?”
The house smelled horrible like a stall in a horse stable.
“I brought someone to heal you brother!”
“We *cough can't afford anyone!”
Her stuttering disappeared talking to her brother interesting...
“I'm only a minor healer I'm simply doing this to train so to heal you is actually a benefit to me.”
No point in lying right now I can't think of anything better then the truth right now...
“Ha *cough I don't think you can *cough help me”
“At least let me try.”
“Fine *cough”
Man this guy coughs a lot. I then walked over chanted the few words I needed in a voice so small on one could here. Surprisingly it worked the first time and I took 200 damage. I then tried 4 more times and was successful on the 5th try. Healing 149 damage. But looking at him he still looked sick.
“Thanks *cough I feel much better but this is only temporary right?”
“Yes Ill see If I can learn a stronger spell...”
“Well then since I'm well enough to work at the forge I guess Ill go work their.”
“How much do you get paid their?”
“Ten coppers a day”
“Isn't that usually low?”
“Yes but he is the only one willing to give me a job. Most of the apprentices make 40 coppers a day.”
I looked at the coppers that had been donated to me today. Their were 15 of them. I then looked around the room. I saw a mask which had nothing on it and a carving knife.
“Do you carve?”
“Yes but on one has bought anything from me”
I put the 15 coppers on the only table in the room.
“Can I make an order?”
The boy had a bewildered look on his face.

“Sure”
“Can you make me a custom mask? I'll pay you 15 coppers a day for your work I won't be able to pay everyday and I'll heal you when I come to drop off money.”
His eyes lite up with hope. He must hate working at the blacksmiths
“What design do you want?”
“I'll go home and draw a design. I'm assuming you will want to get started on finding a proper piece of wood no doubt?”
“Yes sir what is your name? Mine is Mark”
“Mine is Gilbert. No need to call me sir its simply a proper trade is all.”
I then hurriedly went home. Grabbed some paper and a mana Pencil. I drew a Yin Yang symbol. Quite childish I know but I have never owned a mask! The Yin Yang symbol was located in the centre of the forehead. I labelled it in colour as well. The light side was a labelled dark red and the other labelled black. I then went back to the well looking for the girl. Some of the kids gave me coppers as they asked for me to heal them along the way. I was looking for her because I didn't know where her house was. When I found her three kids where looking down at her I could here them calling her names. They were much bigger then her. I had also never seen them. I walked right into the circle completely ignoring the three of them. When I did one of them gave me a weird look.
“Kid what are you doing?”
“I'm Buying something what are you doing?”
“I'm telling a future whore what she is going to be.”
“Coming from a bootlicker that is quite surprising.”
His mouth dropped. He seemed surprised that not only did I know what a bootlicker was but how to use it. Seeing as he was only 8 or 9 I knew he would get angry. Most of the 5-7 year old's who I had been healing were now gathering around us. He eventually recovered from the shock and his face grew to an impressive red colour.
“Why you little bastard who do you think you are?”
“I'm no one and your a bitch”
After that he simply punched me right in the face. Right after he did He looked down on me.
“Serves you right weakling”
He then looked around at the 25 or so kids who all looked at him with rage-filled faces. This was most likely not the first time. I then shouted.
“I'll heal everyone who gets hurt fighting him.”
He turned to me looking at me with a weird face. But that was all the children needed to charge forward. Overwhelmed with vast differences in number they were soon brought down. Only 5 kids got hurt. I healed them and we were on our way. Mary lead the way. We eventually arrived and saw Mark whittling away at a piece of wood with a carving knife. I put the design on the table.
“How do you feel Mark?”
“Great and you?”
“Good nice seeing you again.”
I Then walked back to the well. I had about an hour until supper. A couple of kids came and I got 2 copper coins. I went home and then had supper. I slept quite happily that night.

Don't worry.] Hello! I'm Lire, and this is my first fiction! I know its going to be rough around the edges. But I'm trying my best to improve day by day. I hope you're patient with me if you do give this fiction a try! Correction suggestions are appreciated. Same with grammar corrections. English isn't my first language, so it would help me improve. I'll try my best to make as few mistakes as possible though! Constructive Criticism is very welcome. Anything to make my first brain-child, the best it can possibly be!! If all you do is diss it, without providing anything constructive, I'm ready to pour whatever creative juices I have on making up insults for you, your mother, and all your Ancestors! ...as long as I don't feel particularly lazy at the time. Also, if your diss makes me laugh while also being true, you get a pass too. I'll even give you rep. By the way, this work will be heavily influenced by (English TLed) Japanese Light Novels and Korean Web Novels. I mainly read that kinda stuff after all. With minor influence from Wuxia and Xianxia. Really, just a little though. Oh, and Harry Potter which I read repeatedly when I was a child. If you hate those types of novels, then please piss off immediately. I don't want to waste your time. Now, If you do like them, then please give my novel a shot! *bows*
