“What do you say, Miss Xinyi? You see, I still want to keep this little life of mine so I won’t able to hide this from senior brother for too long. However, if you do help us, even senior brother may give you special treatment and won’t make things difficult for you.” Lou Kun smiled and said. He glanced at Jia Xinyi with sinister eyes as if looking at a plaything.
Threat! This was a naked threat!
Jia Xinyi’s entrancing eyes narrowed, however, before she could speak, the old man who stood behind her with eyes closed till now, spoke first. “Tao Kun, you may leave now,” A boundless aura spread out from the old man and pressed on the three men in front, “We don’t have time for your mindless games!”
The two middle aged men behind Tao Kun trembled as they took several steps back. Their face ashen as cold sweat poured down their backs. The boundless aura was pressing on them like a mountain, even breathing became hard as their knees started to bend slightly.
Their eyes became bloodshot as they clenched their teeth. The two of them were among the strongest in the Tianlong City, however, in front of this old man they could as well be considered the dirt under his feet.
Although Tao Kun didn’t show such an exaggerated reaction since he was seated, he was not better off. His face was pale with an ugly countenance. He tried to speak between his clenched teeth, however there was no sound. His voice didn’t come out. The Qi inside his body was frozen thanks to the mighty pressure that weighed on his body.
Tao Kun’s body trembled. Invisible ripples of energy spread from between his brows enveloping his body. His breathing stabilized, and the paleness on his face slightly receded, albeit still looking quite miserably. He furiously stared at the old man as he spoke with a horse voice, “Old Lan, don’t be too overbearing. Aren’t you afraid that our Crimson Pavilion will step forward? Don’t think that the royal family will be able to protect you forever!”

Tao Kun bellowed, lacking the slightest respect for one’s elder. Although he could barely breath under the powerful pressure he still glared at Old Lan with unmasked disdain and superiority.
Hm! Old bastard, just you wait! In one month you’ll see how meaningless your existence is in front of our Crimson Pavilion! Senior brother should be on his way, let’s see how haughty this bitch will be after she lands in his hands!
Old Lan’s expression remained unchanged in front of Tao Kun’s bellow. His white hair gently flowed down his shoulders, his face just like an old well without any ripple gave off a gentle feeling. At first glance he seemed just like an ordinary old man, however, one could not help but feel the weight of a mountain in his presence. His very existence was oozing off a confidence that was hard to go unnoticed. It was a characteristic of every expert.
“Tao Kun, when I was roaming this continent, your current sect master had yet to be born, even he would have to show respect in front of me. Yet, a brat like you who had yet to jump out of the well dares to act so mighty?” His tone was berating however his voice still calm.
The pressure on the three increased again. The two middle aged men already on their knees as sweat covered their bodies. Tao Kun couldn’t resist anymore. The chair under him broke as he fell back. His face white as a sheet however his eyes still bloodshot as he glared at Old Lan with intense hatred.
He was a genius. In his sect even some elders had to show him respect because of his latent talent as a Symbol Master. Although his lacked the talent for martial cultivation, becoming a symbol master at such a young age was quite an achievement. He even opened his second copper spiritual gate. At his age, becoming a second rank copper symbol master, was an achievement that not many could overlook. Although he still lacked strength, they knew that in the future he will become a pillar of the sect so everyone was trying to curry favors with him.

However, since coming to this backwater place his face was slaped by this old man many times already. But there was nothing he could do. The old man’s strength was to great. Even his sect master advised him to be wary of this man.
Bone cracking sounds were heard inside the room. The pressure become increasingly great. The tree men looked very miserably as they stood in pools of sweat. Tao Kun seemed as if he wanted to say something, however in the next instant his eyes moved on Jia Xinyi’s body as his mouth was lifted into a strange arc.
The air inside the room suddenly become colder. Jia Xinyi body convulsed involuntary as wave after wave of cold energy emanated from her body. Her usually blue eye had an additional white hue as even the tips of her blond waves started to turn into a jade white color. The waves of energy turned into a cold old wind as it swept through the entire room dispersing the pressure on the three men.
As Old Lan saw this scene, his face became grave as he cursed inwardly, Damn, this blasted thing flared up again!
“Poor soul, why do you seek vengeance!” However, before he could do anything an elderly sigh filled the entire room. It spread throughout the room accompanied by an unusual energy that enveloped the cold Qi slowly dissipating it.
At this moment no one did the most expected thing in this situation, that of looking at the source of this mysterious voice. Their eyes were glued on Jia Xinyi’s figure as astonishment flashed across them.
She herself was no exception as she blinked her eyes in confusion. The elderly sigh washed over the entire room like warm water. The cold wind was dissipated almost instantly when the voice sounded. Her left eye and hair returned to their original color as the paleness on her face was now replaced by a rosy hue.
However that was not the most shocking part. Jia Xinyi’s right eyes that was usually painted in a jade white hue had now regained the same blue color as her left eye.
Old Lan felt his body shiver at this sight, the astonishment in his eyes was soon replaced by happiness and hope. He was most aware of his granddaughter condition. It was something that made even he as a symbol master feel helpless.
Even though he didn’t know what happened he could feel the cold Qi inside Jia Xinyi’s body receding greatly. Her right eye turning blue was more than enough to figure that out.
After a long while everyone turned their heads toward the black clothed figure that no one knew when he entered the room. It was clear that this person was responsible for this strange occurrence.
Old Lan’s eyes flashed with dread as he looked at the mysterious person. He inhaled a mouthful cold air and tried to control the shaking of his body.
Is this even a living human? Old Lan thought, looking at the figure that lacked the slightest bit of presence. As a symbol master even those with a great realm above him wouldn’t be able to hide their presence from him. He meet countless experts stronger than him even those who could easily escape his spiritual sense. However it was the first time he met someone who could still hide his presence even when standing less than three meters away from him.
Before anyone could say anything, the black clothed figure let out a tepid laugh, “Lass, you should learn to control your emotions better. If even this little is enough to shake you, you won’t be able to control that Extreme Cold Qi”
Those words were naturally directed at the still dreamy Jia Xinyi. She was finally brought back to reality by the slightly chiding tone. She didn’t show any displeasure towards this as she gave the mysterious person a meaningful look. A strange feeling arouse inside her heart, however she could not put her head around it. Did she meet this person before?

Time And Thoughts
This a book is where I freely express and convey emotions and my thoughts about topics. It's a place where I spend my TIME putting my THOUGHTS into words in hopes of helping someone. I've written these poems in such a way, so that my viewers can derive their own meaning from them. For me as a person I tend to feel more comforted, when down, by listen to music or reading poems, in which the poem or song is hopeless and gives off the feeling of the protagonist being bluntly hurt. In my poems I write without words of encouragement, but instead comfort the reader through understanding and allowing them to feel.If you ever feel the need to talk to someone or want to know the meaning of one of my poems or just wanna say something feel free to comment or private message me.Please enjoy and be comforted by my book.Highest ranking:#1 poems#1 poembook#2 poemcollection#2 poem#3 poetry#3 poetrycollection#5 sadpoems#5 thoughts#8 emotions#13 freeverse#17 hopeless#20 feelings#24 sadness#36 depressing #44 updating#56 life#70 sad#87 poet
